I took mine straight. When I gave my adult daughter hers I asked if she wanted to take it like a man or a baby. She said a baby so I mixed hers in Applesauce. She never tasted it so I might take it like a baby next time. LOL! It's not bad. Just a little after taste.

So far hubby and I have taken it twice with no side effects. Daughter and one granddaughter once with no side effects. So far none of us have gotten sick, knock on wood!!
thank you for the info.

Since I've been sick since Christmas eve, I took a dose of ivermectin today. So far so good. The symptoms I had/have are standard cold, it started with a sore throat and proceeded to lots of phelem and coughing. Missed all the family time for the holidays. :-( I took it like a man and just put the paste in a spoon. It tasted a bit like marshmallows, however there was a long after taste. I do believe I had Covid last January and have had a bit of joint pain since then, so this is part of the reason for trying it.

On a side note I did lots of research on wormers when my dog got heart worm which is a nasty parasite. In my research I found that Ivermectin is the "standard" treatment, however it would only kill the immature worms. A newer form of wormer called Moxidectin was more effective on the heart worms and would kill the juvenile ones too. Also the effectiveness of a dose of Ivermectin was 30 days and Moxidectin was 90. Dogs are typically treated topically with Moxidectin as the dose needed for a dog is minuscule. In fact dogs have died from eating manure from horses wormed with Moxidectin. I decided to move forward with this treatment for our dog and it worked and continues to work, based on followup testing by our vet. To make the tiny dose a 3ul syringe was used to measure dosage. These are used for injecting gasses into the brain and the plunger is smaller than a standard 3cc syringe needle! Anyway sorry for the thread drift, I'll get to my point. Has anyone ran across any research comparing Moxidectin to Ivermectin for Covid?

wow, nobody uses a 3ul syringe except for HPLC injections ( or brain injections???)... just dilute the concentrated medication by 1:100 or 1:1000 with saline or sterile water or DI water and recalculate...the dose

It is a gel, so that might not be feasible to do and get an accurate dose. Besides I already have the syringe. Also don't ever give Moxidectin to a Shepard or Shepard mix.

What I'm experiencing is similar to the colds I've gotten for the last 5 years or so. Basically a head cold with lots of coughing and phelem. I don't really think it's da'rona so Ivermectin may not have any effect on it. So far no side effects of note and I slept well last night, however the DW says I sound a bit horse this morning.

Question- I have acquired 1% sterile solution that I am going to take orally. I have read the entire thread, and more at other sites, and I am still unclear as to the dosage.

My research has shown a dosage of .0272 mL per 10lbs. Approximately .6 mL for 180# guy.

The bottle that I just received states :
Cattle 1 mL per 110 lbs
Swine 1 mL per 75 lbs

Any advice for those that have previously used the 1% sterile solution.

Your dosage is off. According to the Mayo Clinic webpage, dosage is 68 micrograms per pound of body weight. That is 12.2 mgs of ivermectin for a 180# human. It equals 1.2 cc of the 1% injectable liquid.

Please stop taking the Ivermectin every other day.... the standard dose is 1 dose on day one and one dose on day three... rest for 30 days... YMMV
I have read this elsewhere also.

On an earlier page it states "prophylaxis", "at home" and "on floor". "At home and on floor" dosage more frequent than prophylaxis as I understand it. So if you get Covid, change dosage?

TIA

So many facinating Covid treatments, not vaccines, being use in many countries.
Attached is a photo and a like to a Youtube explaining the directions of use for Covid treatment in Upsadar ?? Pradesh, India.

New York Supreme Court Judge Saves 80-Year-Old Patient from Death by Ordering Hospital to Give Life-Saving Ivermectin

Sun, 01/17/2021

New York Supreme Court Judge Saves 80-Year-Old Patient from Death by Ordering Hospital to Give Life-Saving Ivermectin | 15 Jan 2021 | The Buffalo News is reporting a story out of New York State where family members of an 80-year-old woman, Judith Smentkiewicz, did their own research after their mother was diagnosed with COVID and put on a ventilator, where she was only given a 20% chance to live. They read about Ivermectin and convinced one of the doctors in the ICU of Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital to let her try it. However, she was soon transferred to a different section of the hospital away from the ICU, and the doctors there refused to allow her to continue taking Ivermectin. Amazingly, the hospital did not back down even when faced with a fight in court. They defended their right to deny this woman life-saving medication so they could effectively kill her. Fortunately, the Judge wasn't persuaded, and basically saved this woman's life.
On Jan. 8, Nowak ordered the hospital to "immediately administer the drug Ivermectin" to Smentkiewicz, court papers show.
"But the judge also told us verbally that Judith's family doctor would have to write a prescription for Ivermectin, which he did," Lorigo said. "In 46 years as an attorney, I've never seen another case where a family had to get a court order to continue a treatment that had already been started by a hospital."

"This lady was on a ventilator, literally on her deathbed, before she was given this drug," Lorigo told The Buffalo News about Smentkiewicz, a Cheektowaga resident.

"As far as we're concerned, the judge's order saved this woman's life."
