Surely a little piracy isn't going to be the sum total of the Iranian response? It seems anticlimactic after all the build up from yesterday. Maybe if Iran closed the Strait or captured more ships, but I just don't see this as hurting Israel much. Yet.

I hope they dont negotiate for money like that. It only comes back to bite Israel with new weapons purchased and another Oct 7th funded.

Instead of money, negotiate that foreign charity organizations come in and deliver personally the emergency supplies to the people directly - food, water, clothing, medical care. I dont think you can safely do the rebuilding with outsiders and guarantee their safety and you cant donate building supplies because they will sell them on the black market like last time or use it to make bombs like they did last time.

Fool me once...I dont think they will give stuff to them again. They better pray that for once their "muslim brothers" around the world are feeling particularly generous and help them out for a change. Israel and Christians worldwide don't owe them a thing.

I wonder if Israel made a courtesy call to the admin with a heads up that this seizure was a green light for an operation of some sort.

BREAKING: IRANIAN CYBER ATTACK SHUTS DOWN ISRAEL'S ELECTRIC GRID

The "Cyber Avengers," a group with ties to Iran, have proudly announced their responsibility for the recent power outages across Israel, hitting major urban centers such as Tel Aviv and Netanya.

They've lambasted Israeli officials for downplaying the events as mere technical mishaps, alleging a deeper loss of control over their electricity networks.

In a bold display of power, the group has issued a stern warning of further, more impactful cyber assaults targeting critical Israeli infrastructure.

Tsarfati: According to international intelligence bodies, it was reported that dozens of explosive drones were on their way to Israel from Iranian territory.
The aircraft are supposed to arrive starting at 4:00AM in the morning in the parts of Israel.

Not sure if others' computers "hesitate" about opening these links, as mine does, but here's what it says (if you can't see it):

The Times of Israel reports: "Ballistic missiles fired from Iran would take approximately 12 minutes to reach Israel, cruise missiles would take about two hours, and drones would take around nine hours to reach their targets." This means we could see waves of attacks in 3 or 4 phases, and there may also be involvement from the axis in Iraq, Lebanon, and Yemen.
