We came down with it right before Christmas. Headaches, nausea (activated charcoal caps helped a BUNCH), sore throat, ear aches, body aches....runny nose, TIRED. The the chest tightness started in, and let up....and come back with a vengeance. You'd start to feel better, and it would smack you again. And again. And again.
I finally admitted to Hubby I needed a doc, after the least little thing would leave me breathless and TIRED. My chest hurt. So we went to the ER (everywhere else was BUSY) and got an Xray and EKG.....and I have pneumonia. They gave me a prescription for Z pack and turned us loose. I talked him into going to see his VA outpatient DR on the way home and Hubby has Bronchitis and infected tonsils. So he's on Z pack too. I thought I was getting better, but last night I was breathless again and VERY achy. Ibuprofen helped and a long hot shower and I went to bed WAY early. Feeling better this morning (and Hubby is doing better), but I hope the next two dosed of Z pack kick it. I'm so sick and tired of being sick and tired.
