Live Free & Die Free.... God Freedom Country....
The beautiful, well-versed 83 year old lady, fully dressed every morning at 8 am sharp, with her hair done in fashion and perfectly applied makeup, is moving to a retirement home. Her husband recently died, which motivated her move.
After many hours of patiently waiting in the hall of the home, she smiled sweetly, when told her room was ready.

As she moved her walker toward the elevator, she was given a detailed description of her small room, including the curtains hanging from her window.

“I love it,” she said, with the enthusiasm of a 8-year-old girl who was just handed over a new pet.

“Mrs. Jones; you haven't seen the room, just wait.”

“That doesn't matter,” she replied. “Happiness is something you decide over time. Whether or not I like my room doesn't depend on how the furniture is arranged, it depends on how I arrange my mind.

I’ve already decided that I like it. It's a decision I make every morning when I wake up. I have the choice; I can spend the day in bed, going through the difficulty I have with my body parts that don't work, or get out of bed and be thankful for the parts that do work.

Every day is a gift, and as long as my eyes open, I will focus on the new day and the happy memories I've stored just for this time in my life.

HAPPINESS is like a bank account: you withdraw from it, what you deposit.

So my advice would be to deposit a lot of happiness into your memory account.

Remember these five simple things:

1.- Free your heart from hate/discord.
2.- Free your mind from worries.
3.- Live Simply.
4.- Give more.
5.- Take less.

I don't understand what is going on here.

n,

It appears that the narrative did not post over. The older gentlemen invited his neighbors over for pizza as he does on a regular basis. I could not find the original posting which had more detail.

Sorry about that.

84-Year-Old Almost Dies After Falling Until His Cat Does One Simple Thing 84-Year-Old Almost Dies After Falling Until His Cat Does One Simple Thing

If you happen to have a pet cat in your life, you don’t need anyone to tell you that they are absolutely awesome. Of course, cats have different personalities, with some of them being cute and cuddly and others being somewhat aloof. I’ve had cats that you rarely ever see because they tend to spend most of their waking hours hiding under a bed somewhere. For a man by the name of Ron Williams, however, his cat was more than a companion, it was a lifesaver! It’s a story that I’m sure will inspire you to be a little more loving to your cat today.

84-year-old Williams is an Army veteran and he fell down one day and couldn’t get up. He was coming out of the shower at the time and it was just one of those moments that seemed as if it was going to be the end of it all. Not only was he home alone, but he also landed in a position where he couldn’t move. His life alert device was on the charger in another room and his cell phone was out of reach on the counter. It seemed as if his life was about to be over as the hours continued to tick by and his arm was pinned underneath him. He could only lay there and hope that somebody would find him before his time was up.

That is where his cat, Fluffy came in. Ron fell in the bathroom at 8 AM and was there until midnight. Fluffy was there keeping them company but he did a lot more. They used to play a game together where the phone would ring and Ron would say ‘ring-a-ding’.

He would play that game again while he was on the bathroom floor and Fluffy realized that it meant the phone was ringing. The cat was so smart that he brought him the phone and he was able to call for help.

Tiny Yorkie Loves To Protect His Human Brother But Then A Coyote Shows Up

1649971931717.png

There are many different words that we might use to describe our dogs. For some of us, companion is the word that comes to our mind first. After all, dogs are there for us through thick and thin and they are always going to be a part of our everyday life. We might also use words such as loyalty, love, or perhaps even happiness. All of those words are correct but have you ever considered your dog to be a hero? In some cases, they may not start out as a hero but then they could do something that automatically turns them into the biggest hero you could ever have. That is the case with Macy the Yorkie.

As a Yorkshire Terrier, Macy may be a little dog on the outside but on the inside, she is a roaring lion. She proved this recently when she was out with her human sister, who was only 10 years old. That little girl, Lily was walking her around the block in Ontario, Canada when a most frightful thing happened. A coyote came out and started to chase them down the sidewalk. The little girl ran, but she had little hope of getting away from the coyote. That is where Macy came in.

Macy didn’t care that she was only about 10 pounds, she stood up to the coyote and started barking like crazy. She was dodging and weaving and doing everything that she could to frighten the coyote away. Lily ran screaming for help, but Macy was there to help her.

Unfortunately, Macy was injured when she was attacked by the coyote but that didn’t stop her from standing up for her big sister. At one point in the video, you can even see her chasing the coyote after she was injured! It’s just one more reason why we love dogs so much. Watch the video for yourself.

"Last night, my husband lost his wallet in a grocery store parking lot. He has never done this before and was obviously so upset. Today, I walked up to our other house (we’re selling and living somewhere else now) and found his wallet in this envelope. Somebody found it and took the time to drive it 15 minutes away to make sure it got back to us. All the cash and other contents still inside. I called the number they left but had to leave a message. We are so beyond grateful for this person’s huge act of kindness! "

What is the height of confidence?
This woman, Annie Shiva.
main-qimg-eeb881ec08fbfea24c4162dfb9b39b5a-pjlq

Imagine, you are just an 18 year old girl. You fall in love with a guy, marry him and start living with him against your parents’ wish. You believe that you have trusted the right person and that you have made the right decision. But unfortunately, the person you loved was not worthy of your love. He abandoned you. Not just you, but also your baby who is just 6 months old. You are disowned by your family and the society as a whole. You have nowhere to go and no way to survive. Not just yours, but you also have a little stomach to feed.

Yes, this is what Annie Shiva underwent in her life unexpectedly. But she did not give up. To make a living, she started selling candies, lemonade and groceries in the street, as a helper in shops and preparing projects and records for students; living under the shade of a small shed. She did not beg from anyone nor lived under the sympathy of someone.

But she did not let go of her dreams and academics. Despite the adversities in her life, she completed her graduation in sociology. She kept moving from place to place with her son, whom she named Shivasurya.

She transformed herself physically to look like a man and for 14 long years, people thought that she and her son were brothers! Because we know that there is a unique sickness that Indian society suffers from, where they assume that a woman living alone is weak or easy to get hold of.

After 14 years of continuous struggle, but her willpower still intact in her, she wrote the SI test, having studied for almost 20 hours a day, on top of her work, and now, she is finally appointed as a sub-inspector in Kerala police. She lives a contented life with her son now, finally out of all her hardships.

She says, “ Some days, even getting a single meal a day seemed like a luxury. I’ve helplessly watched my son cry out of hunger and go to sleep.”

She wrote on Facebook, “ What could be a better revenge than this to the struggles that I faced all these years? I managed not to get mentally derailed somehow. After all these hardships, when a woman manages to get her life on track, people show mercy and keep spreading lies about them. So, I and my son live here as an elder brother and a younger brother. Every time life tried to pull me down, I worked 10 times harder to come out strong and tall. This was my small win but in a world crowded with negatives, I’m glad that it could be a source of strength and inspiration for so many people. Now I feel much better knowing that I have done it all alone and will be able to give my son a good life.”

This has to be the height of confidence. Because I know that if something like this happened to me, I would have most probably given up my life.

How weird is this!!!!! I was at an antique store, Madison, WI….first time there…..in the very back of the store I found this picture. It looked like a picture I saw at my grandmothers house 30 years ago. And looked like the one in my parents house. I sent the picture to my mom, and she sent me hers back…..I’ll put it in the comments.

Turns out it was a picture of my great great great grandpa, who was alive from 1833 to 1915. Holy shit!!! I had to buy it! And now you can all meet him. Here’s George Hartwig ❤❤. Happy to have you home grandpa
