Yeah, they are saying not enough information, but I have filed far to many times (including 2019) with direct deposit, yet now they dont have enough info...smh

Same here. :( Say's that I qualify, but they don't have enough info. Heck, the state found me to deposit a refund, and SS is direct deposited every month, and Fed Taxes were filed early, with all information. Sheesh, they don't have enough info my butt.

I started to stress over getting it or not because I get a small VA penion depending on income. I looked it up and from an offical website said I would get it and it would not count against me getting my pension. Even tho I service connected I got the VA pension instead of a 10% disability check. When they checked me out 6 years ago I was in very much better shape than I am now. I'd lost 40 ugly pounds and had been working out (okay so I was looking for another mate, my daddy told me years ago there would come a time that it would not work, but haha I proved him wrong, got the best one I've ever had). Now I have severe shoulder, hip and back pain and sometimes my knee gives out. Unfortunately I've gained 20 of those ugly pounds out and at best can only get about 3,000 steps a day. Sorry to get so off topic.

ETA I don't file taxes, the standard deduction for me is more than my income including the va pension.

No. I have my social security directed deposited to my wells fargo checking account. The first day I could get was today, April 20th, but no joy. Wells Fargo doesn't even have as listed on their info page, pathetic losers that they are. WF might be playing the float on me:dstrs:

No, I entered my direct deposit info ( which is already on file from previous tax refunds ) and I am scheduled to be mailed a check on the 24th. Not sure why. Nevada.

Yes, via direct deposit on April 15. Used some of it to buy some REAL money - “junk silver” pre-1965 US silver coins.

Saw this on Freeper...the IRS website says that they are not currently processing paper tax returns. They will begin again at some future date. I assume they aren’t much working because of Covid. This probably means that you won’t get your refund or stimulus check for a while if you filed a paper return. Pathetic in my view.

Nothing yet. Still say they will let me know when it's coming. Beginning to feel I will never see it.

Yup; paid off a car loan that we were lollygagging around paying off monthly since our CDs were making more interest $ than the interest on the car payment.

I still get the reply on the website that they don't have my information (??). They do but I guess it's lost somewhere in cypher-land. As I said up-thread, I have zero expectations - life doesn't throw many happy surprises my way so at least I won't be disappointed :)

Don't worry; your VA pension wouldn't disqualify you unless it ups your income to over $75K a year!

Got it last Monday direct deposit into my husband's account, which is where any tax refund is deposited, $2400. Filed very early this year, don't know if that affected it or not. Located in Lakeland Highlands, Florida (Central Florida)

Hardly, its a low income pension and if I filed taxes and my income was more than it is now I would lose the pension. But I did some research and the "check" won't affect my pension and my pension won't affect my getting the "checkK.

That

That's what our case is. I just checked the IRS website and it says our check is scheduled to be mailed out on the 24th. I was hoping for direct deposit since we get SS, but no luck.

Same here on our check being mailed, I checked last week, entering in the banking info even we get our SS direct deposited.

I checked again today and they said they are mailing the check on Friday, I was really hoping for direct deposit.

No, not me either....But, I'm just filing the '19 taxes today. They said, being that the 19's are not due till July, that they would use the 18#'s to qualify you. Well, my guess is what they didn't say is those who filed early for 19 will go first. So, eventually the mailman will bring me a surprise...May i guess....

Nothing yet for me. But I expect a delay for direct deposit because I get SS and a survivors benefit from the V.A. So they have all my direct deposit info from my SS and VA. I'm in Texas.

NW MO, and No, I have not received anything. I do not DD my refunds, when I get them, either, so I am assuming "if" I get something it will be in the mailbox some day. Likewise I am only assuming I am eligible; the primary bread earner is deceased, so I am all but certain my income does NOT exceed the cut off.

Nor do I know what my byzantine accounting system will find to do with the windfall...other than "tithing", I'll do whatever the universe tells me, cause I'm obedient like that. : )

And now it is the 22nd and still nothing. After filling in the form 2 weeks ago I am still getting the same message in Payment Status. It says I am eligible and when they have the payment due date it will be posted. Also gives my account # at the bank.

The strange part is it says they will mail me a letter with additional info on the payment. So far no letter.

I've tried logging into the IRS tracking website several times. Despite entering my info verbatim from my 2019 tax return (where I had to pay $3.65!) it says my information does not match & I'm locked out for 24 hours. I've tried calling the numbers listed on the website but they are not staffed due to the virus scam. I was able to locate a web based email form and submitted a request for help. They say it will take 48 hours for a response...YAY!

Well, a week later after the main thrust and still nothing. Even on the 'where's my check' site, they still don't have a date listed. Figuring it's going to be awhile. Oh well, gets here when it gets here I guess.

No - not yet. Ours will be a mailed check, if we get it, based on what they use. Gross or adjusted gross? Not sure.
Our 1040 goes in the mail - runs 50-65 pages.

You had to have entered DD information before your batch of payments was processed. Sounds like you took too long.

Looks like SS recipients are at the end of the receiving line.
Wouldn't be too bad for me except that GDOL is lagging on getting unemployment checks out too.

everything I've read that is official stated that as a ss recipient and also a va pension didn't need to do anything. The direct deposit will eventually come. I never count my chickens until they hatch so to speak, but the extra would be nice.
