You know what? I (and many other members here) have seen boards who let anything be said. Well meaning owners who really believed "good Conservatives will be self moderating ".

Over time, the crass, the rude, the "practical realists" and "engineer brains, don't have time for any of that feeling crap" (self identified, btw) people ran those off who preferred reasoned discourse with at least a sprinkling of civility and class. Those boards are, by and large, GONE.

None of it has anything to do with political correctness. A bit of sensitivity to MZ Kitty, who obviously was affected by some factor of the killings (or maybe its just the totality-cshe reads a lot of crap to bring us the news every day)

I'll be honest. I didn't see any problem with the comment... it may actually turn out to be an explanation. But once a valued member (and the OP!) Expresses a problem with your post, take it to PM and try to sort it out.

And don't scream censorship... because you're damned right we censor on RARE occasions to try to keep this herd of cats from imploding!

Summerthyme) btw... if we "censor", we do it right out in the open!)
Unless it's blacs right? Then it's on like Donkey Kong.

I don't know... after I saw this picture, and knowing there are two other men dead whose families are now destroyed forever, I just didn't see the *humor*

You surely did know as did I. In retrospect I was out of line jesting about the loss of lives. I'll watch what I say in the future. Self censor as it were. It will make for a better forum. I've become inured to the carnage that is America now. This is the congo this weekend. 19 KILLED!

19 killed, 78 wounded.

I get it, SA, but the thing about the Congo is: It's south-side Chicago, and it's been going on for SO LONG, that people's eyes tend to glaze over, if they even see the death reports. There's really nothing anyone can do for them. They'd have to do it themselves. And besides, you never see any pictures of the dead, so it's just like numbers flashing by -- no human content.

The above lady and her two little boys, on the other hand, really tug at your heart because guess what a bad man shot him for no reason and daddy's not coming home anymore -- ever.

Blacks are used to chicongo behavior. White peeps not so much.

:(

I just watched a vid of a 9 year old girl getting shot, all involved black, and an older black woman running around screaming, "OH no, not another baby." A good portion off them would like to see the killing cease, but it is beyond their control too.
But I know what you mean, I saw that picture of the dead man's wife and kids and you can just feel the pain they will all go through.

He must have witnessed the perp shooting the other two guys?

Pro golfer killed on Georgia golf course witnessed crime before he was shot, police say

Two other men who were fatally shot had no connection to the country club golf course in Kennesaw, police said.

July 6, 2021, 8:17 PM UTC

A pro golfer who was fatally shot on a country club golf course in Georgia, near where two other men were found dead in the bed of a pickup truck, had witnessed a crime before he was killed, authorities said Tuesday.

The body of Gene Siller, an employee at the Pinetree Country Club in Kennesaw — about 30 miles northwest of Atlanta — was found with an apparent gunshot wound to his head on the green of the 10th hole at about 2:20 p.m. Saturday, Cobb County police said.

Police also discovered a Ram 3500 pickup truck on the green that contained the bodies of two men, one of whom was identified as Paul Pierson, the truck’s registered owner. A third deceased man had not been identified. They had died from gunshots and were found in the truck bed, police said.

Siller was killed after seeing a crime involving the two other men, police said in a statement.

"Mr. Siller happened upon a crime in progress involving the unknown suspect and the two deceased males who were found in the pickup truck," the statement said. "It does not appear he was in any way targeted, but rather was killed because he witnessed an active crime taking place."

Pierson and the unidentified man did not appear to have any connection to the country club, police said.

The investigation is ongoing, with police saying it is too early to determine a motive. No arrests have been announced.
Siller, who was in his 40s, was a member of the Pinetree Country Club staff and previously worked as the director of golf and head golf pro at Summit Chase County Club, according to the Gwinnett Daily Post.

Since 2007 he had regularly competed in Georgia’s PGA section golf tournaments, the Post reported.
Siller, a husband and father of two, was responding to an issue on the course’s 10th hole when a man in a white truck pulled his vehicle onto the sand trap nearby, according to the Post. When Siller went to talk to the man in the pickup, he was shot.

Siller’s widow, Ashley, Tuesday afternoon told NBC News, “I loved him very dearly, and I am very sad.”

A representative with the Cobb County Medical Examiner’s Office deferred questions to police.

A GoFundMe for Siller’s family received about $483,325 from 3,400 donors as of Tuesday afternoon. The fundraiser, which launched Sunday, had a goal of raising $500,000.

Domestic MSM simply refuses to describe or show a picture of the perp.

You can't solve a problem if you are unwilling to properly define the problem.

How many priors did the ;perp have before this and why was he out on the streets now?

Sure doesn't look hispanic. Looks very much GTR
Well we have "White hispanics" why not GTR hispanics? When the meaning of a word changes to whatever TPTB want it to mean according to the circumstances it ceases to have any meaning at all.

Two of the Georgia golf course victims who were found shot dead in the back of pickup truck had been bound and gagged with tape, arrest warrants have revealed.
Bryan Rhoden, 23, was charged late Thursday over the July 3 triple homicide at the Pinetree Country Club near Atlanta.
Rhoden, who is an aspiring rapper, allegedly shot Gene Siller - the 46-year-old director of golf at the club - in the head near the 10th hole.
Police later discovered the bodies of two men - Paul Pierson, 76, of Kansas; and Henry Valdez, 46, of California - in the back of a white Ram 3500 pickup truck that Rhoden had allegedly driven onto the course.
Warrants made public on Friday, which were obtained by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, reveal Pierson and Valdez were shot to death in the back of the truck.
They were found with their hands, legs and mouths bound with tape, according to the warrant.
Police believe the two men were already dead when Rhoden drove onto the green in a truck registered to Pierson but became stuck in a sand trap.

The gunman fled the scene of the triple homicide on foot and police refused for days to release any details of a potential suspect.
Rhoden is an aspiring rapper

Following his arrest, online records now show Rhoden was picked up by police in nearby Chamblee, some 25 miles away from the course, in the hours after the shootings.
He was booked early Sunday on misdemeanor charges of DUI, a headlight violation, fake ID, driving without insurance, driving an unregistered vehicle and using a license plate to conceal the identity of a vehicle.
Bryan Anthony Rhoden, 23, was arrested in Thursday in the city of Chamblee, more than 25 miles southeast of where the slain men were discovered Saturday

  • Cobb Police Chief Tim Cox has acknowledged that Rhoden had previously been arrested but refused to provide details
Rhoden was released on bond on Tuesday night.
He was then taken into custody again on Thursday night in the same area as his first arrest and charged over the murders.
Cobb Police Chief Tim Cox has acknowledged that Rhoden had previously been arrested but refused to provide details.
It is not yet clear if police knew he was the suspect in the homicides when he was picked up on the other charges hours after the shootings.
Cox said after his arrest that Rhoden was identified relatively early as the suspect.
The police chief described Rhoden as the 'lone shooter' but refused to give other details, including the motive.
Rhoden, who is originally from Florida, is an aspiring rapper who goes by the name B. ROD.
He has recently released his first mixtape titled: 'MADE IT OUT'.
