not a local but have driven there many times. ALL harbor facilities north of Sparrows point are now blocked and will be until that channel is cleared.
seeing as the harbor will be closed for the forsee able future, wonder if the harbour was used as transport site for weapons for Ukraine?

It would not be beyond the realm of high possibility that the NATO-facilitated attacks on the Russian-built Crimean Bridge has resulted in this outcome. If so, we are staring WW3 events coming home to roost.

Any bridge rebuild will probably stage there after rescue/recovery.

I heard initially that the ship went dark twice just prior to the collision. I did not personally see that but I didn't look.

That is the redan of the starfort's outer wall as the big day got underway. Scott wrote the ballad after 25 hrs of siege of the harbor.
The collapsed bridge bore his name. This captain was aiming right for that bridge support pillar. I take it damn seriously.

The second time appears to happen after the strike. It is possible that the ship lost navigation control after the first power failure. Sending it off course with no time to recover. If so then that ship has a worse design than the Boeing 737 max.
