Ohhhh, I need help. Up until recently, I found I was putting all my hope in Donald Trump for being the one person, THE ONE PERSON, who is truly running, not for the money but because he really cares about our/his country. This election was the first thing I thought about upon rising each morning. Then the Holy Spirit had me check myself to make sure I wasn't making Trump a god (<- small 'g'). So I reigned myself in for a week and a half, trying to not look up Trump first thing in the morning or post threads on him. I actually got wigged out when I saw the size of the crowd at his rally the night before his last debate. Then I watch the below video and I am in tears! Tears of hope. Not that he can save us as I believe we are already gone as a country; but tears of gratitude that there is one person who really wants to do the right thing for this country, regardless that we get sucked down the toilet. At least there might be ONE PERSON who can say they TRIED!
I have practiced not to give my heart, hope and faith to any one human ever again, with the exception of my dearly departed husband, because people will 'normally' fail you. Trust is such a huge issue for me!!! I only trusted my husband and trust my Creator/Father/Savior/Master/Bridegroom. Heck, I don't even trust myself which is why I cling to Christ so tightly! But this video...ahhh, this video...! It has me solidifying my initial TRUST in this man, and shedding tears of gratitude that he is running! My emotional Richter scale is either way off or Trump is the real deal.
Again, I know our country is too far gone to be saved as God gave Satan this world to rule for a time until Christ returns. And I know there is a MUCH BETTER place that awaits me for eternity. I want Trump to be the real deal. I am BLOWN AWAY that I am believing in a person who has entered the political arena!! This just goes against the grain of my being!!!! DAMN!!!
As I said, though I believe we can't be saved, this video has, ONCE AGAIN, made me believe that there is one person who is going to give it the " 'ol college try' " just because he wants to give back. I want to be skeptical. I don't want to trust because I don't want my trust shattered and broken, but this video just screams to my heart.
