I do pray for him as you request.
You do understand that the miracle requested may be his going home? The Lord of the universe may have other plans for him.
I also pray that you receive peace in this matter.

Prayer works.
Here is an update I received today.

Update on Tom: he was discharged and is at home resting. He apparently had pneumonia and that has cleared up and his lungs have fully inflated again. They gave him two rounds of radiation so far and he is already breathing better, so it appears to be working, at least for now. He still has a long way to go and a fight ahead of him, but things are at least looking up. Please continue to pray for Tom and his family.

We all know our days on this planet, this realm, are fleeting and can be cut off at any time. So now, BCD, you know that Tom dodged a bullet here...but just for a bit. Take advantage of this "bit" and spend as much time with him as you can. Share your memories. Make new ones. And find out if he loves and lives for God. If not, bring Tom the Good News so that his eternal life is in heaven and not in hell. Laugh, love, live while he is here so you don't have regrets when he leaves.

He's not out of the woods yet but it'scertainly nice to get some good news here. We seem to dwell on the stupid, the inane or the anti-constitutional/illegalities of our world. Easy done as we're inundated by it all.

I hope he makes it all the way . . .

Just saw this post from Tom's daughter

Happy 58th birthday to my amazing Dad!
You have showed and proved to me over the years and especially the last couple months, you can do anything if you put your mind to it. Today he had a follow up appointment with one of his cancer doctors, and got great news. She looked at me and my dad and she smiled so big, and said Tom I never seen you look this good since even before I started seeing you, he’s gaining weight, his lower lob is opened up, and his lungs sound incredible she said. And this Chemo seems to be working! Nothing like the best birthday present my dad could have gotten! I’m beyond happy, and I know he is! He amazes me, and I’m glad I have his stubbornness. Because it’s only made me a stronger person! I love you Dad!
