PRYR RQST For DH in ER

We are still in the ER waiting for an MRI. DH is napping and my tush is going numb from sitting in a plastic chair for the 8 hours we have been here. The nurse was kind and brought us a couple sandwiches and juice.

I’ve noticed every time the did his vitals his blood pressure is low. Last reading was 102/69 , and testing showed neuropathy in his feet. More little clues to help us get to the bottom of whatever is going on.

I’ve called out of work for tomorrow and since I only have 2 weeks left till retirement I don’t feel the least bit guilty!! I’m sure It’s going to be a few more hours till we know anything.

Thanks for the update! Piling on the prayers here for you and DH! And get up and walk around, those aren't just plastic chairs, they're medieval torture devices made to make sure your backside falls asleep and takes it's time waking up again Try and see if the nurse can bring you a pillow, put it on the seat of the chair. Might make the wait a bit more tolerable.

Main thing is; Get up and move around a bit. I know you want to be next to him every second but he needs you to be up and alert and helpful. Laid in ER beds with wife glued to my side before; all I could think of laying in that bed is her wellbeing. I'm 1000% certain your hubby is doing the same with you. He needs you, us guys don't handle being sick very well. So please take care of you while you're taking care of him. Makes it less stressful for you and takes a load off his mind as well.

Good morning. We are finally home!! MRI WAS done at 4 am. The good news is no stroke Praise God!!!! Will need to follow up with a neurologist as something showed on his pituitary gland.

One of the tests did show neuropathy in his feet which I suspect is part of his recent diagnosis as a type 2. It’s going to be a full time job getting him to do his follow up care but I’m going to be on him like a fly on …. You know the rest.
