They transported him by ambulance to Yale New Haven hospital. We’ve been here for almost 2 hours and no one has been in yet. The joys of a large urban hospital. Right now dh is napping so it’s hurry up and wait.

Praying for you! Have them start him immediately on that medicine (I do not know its name) that if given very quickly after a stroke begins is supposed to greatly reduce and/or stop the damage from a stroke.

Need a CT scan before they do the tPa treatment. Gotta make sure he doesn't have a BLEED, make sure that it's an ischemic stroke.

Dh was feeling “off” this morning and wobbling when he walked along with a few other symptoms. We talked him into coming to urgent care to just get checked out. We will be going immediately to see a neurologist, as Doc thinks he may have had a small stroke.

Prayers for dh would be appreciated.

We are still in the ER waiting for an MRI. DH is napping and my tush is going numb from sitting in a plastic chair for the 8 hours we have been here. The nurse was kind and brought us a couple sandwiches and juice.

I’ve noticed every time the did his vitals his blood pressure is low. Last reading was 102/69 , and testing showed neuropathy in his feet. More little clues to help us get to the bottom of whatever is going on.

I’ve called out of work for tomorrow and since I only have 2 weeks left till retirement I don’t feel the least bit guilty!! I’m sure It’s going to be a few more hours till we know anything.
