Actually BBBD - Neman IS the top dog when it comes to influenza. He was the top dog in the 70's regarding Swine Flu then, and IS the best and most accurate virology scientist today.
You need to understand that right now things are just emerging, as time goes on he will be the one to predict this down to a pinpoint.
I was living in Pittsburgh when the first swine flu issues surfaced, Neman was the only one on top of things and he is the guy that founded ALL the initial research data that is used today. There is no better expert than Dr. Neman. He has spent most all of entire career in this medium, truly dedicated man.
Maybe we'll have to check back with you this time next year to see if your opinion holds up, eh? Of course, that's if you survive the storm and live to tell about it. Continue to disregard/disrespect/dis . . this expert the way you are so far and you will be missing the most valuable information thay MAY WELL save your life.

THANK YOU Sherbar! for that explanation. After years of posting I no longer have the angelic patience to detail everything for the zillionth time. Should have added that I'm 49 years old and have autism which has clobbered me for the last 5 years with auto-immune misbehavior and I put a lot of thought into which substances I would take for a pandemic. Don't want to bore everybody with all my experimentation but the 4 I listed above work for me and of course one listens to the body during any illness and adjusts. I don't expect to survive this anyway.
Also just started taking a bunch of vitamins and supplements and will be overhauling a diet that has been too laden with overly delicious fats.
Have the usual moderate pharma stash of aspirin etc and 1st aid supplies and too many nursing and caregiving implements. Thinking it's time to get some IVs, foley catheters and tamiflu although that will not work for much longer. Probably also need 3 different antibiotic courses for secondary bacterial infections. Between Lynn & myself know enough Drs to pull off the scripts.
These things are best fresh. We still have tons of outdated stuff from Y2K.
In general getting stronger and healthier is always a good idea. Not in the age group or health where immune system is at its most vigorous.
For a pandemic to come on top of the financial collapse, political polarizations, environmental degradation, spiritual attack etc etc etc -- things just are not going well on planet earth right now. Clearly it is time to be prepared.
Dr Niman has devoted DECADES to studying and examining and analyzing flu virus and all its mutations. As with all experts, one has to reference several other specialists and learn and listen and research and come to one's own conclusions. I'm very glad Dr Niman is still alive! Enough of them have been exited.

One thing he mentions at about 10:20 is resistance and how the anti-virals like Tamiflu presently work and how seasonal flu is resistant to it. When the seasonal flu "interacts" with the swine flu during the actual seasonal human flu season they may well combine, mutate and become resistant to anti-virals like Tamiflu.

Historic trends from the 1918 oubreak suggest that we are in a mild period. There are many people that may be infected but not show symptoms now. It's after the summer and during the flu season when we truly may see a large spike in the number of severe cases.

The 2 year old that died caught the flu at his home in MEXICO and then travelled to Texas..... From what someone posted on another thread, the child had several other health problems along with this flu.
If so, he may have been already so sick, that anything, even the common cold, could have killed him.

It also explains how aids skyrocketed throughout Africa in a period of just years (here's a hint, Africans don't hop into their toyotas and vacation like we do - most of them stay home - the speed of the spread was thus ........ statistically incredible).

Heck Spanish Flu killed ALL demorgaphics, just MORE of the young, mature healthy.

Don’t get me wrong I’m not totally discrediting what the guy has to say. I think some of it is VERY valid. I just find it curious that our first fatality was a child. That’s all.

The kid was not from the U.S. nor was it healthy to begin with. The poor thing came here for treatment and died with it.
Houston has one of the best children's hospitals in the world. But why would they expose hospital personnel to this virus unless doctors might think this child's severe illness might be significant (as in the good doctor on the video saying people between 25 and 44 being the target victims of a 1918-like pandemic).
Or unless the doctors don't really take it that seriously -- or didn't until the child died.
And why did they make this poor child's death major news? Some kind of dot?

I watched that Horowitz video and let me tell you, my conspiracy theorist mind would loove to latch onto that, but I have a hard time swallowing such an evil corporate plot.
