One of my culinary skills. Along with disassembling Costco chickens, and fudge. I also make mean mashed potatoes, and deviled eggs.
And mine does have beans. I add extra. Adds octane, y’know.
Come to think of it, gonna have some for breakfast. Get my day started right.
OMG!!! I haven’t seen Chili Makins in years! It was a huge family favorite. I can’t even find it online.

Know what else I loved that’s gone for many years? Campbell’s Chili Beef soup. My favorite in the world. I could eat that every day. Gone now for ten years or more.

Could someone please do me a favor and send me ONE CAN? I want to try it before I commit to more.

check to see if your local WM or Walgreens carries it. Yeah I know, Walgreens, ours carries some stuff that I've not been able to get anywhere else, like Continental Canned Hams, which is the best out of all of the canned hams second only to Hormel's black label canned ham.

DEPLORABLE ME
Yeah I was just pointing out that no one is going to buy that to send you a can lol. Hope you CAN find someone to get one locally.

Even if you get a single can, it would have to be a whole lot cheaper than almost $7.50 a can (for Beans) to make them edible, for me at least, lol.

Maybe see if you can find a copy cat recipe online?....hmmm....nope, didn't find any.

Here's a 12 pack for $27

Got the link from the companies website

NOT WORKING - lol. Don’t have a spare $27 to spend on “speculation.” I’d be willing to send someone enough to reimburse them for the single can plus shipping.

We just went to Costco and they brought back their social distancing rules. Most isles are one way now and the freezer section has plexiglass back down the middle.

They had people reminding people to follow the rules. Those people looked like they hated their life’s and job.

Mask signs up saying there are highly suggested for all. No one but the employees were wearing them.

It’s back!!
Nothing like that in Indiana. Of course, Indiana is where freedom lovers from WisconSIN move to.

I got a questionnaire from Costco, this is what I wrote. I forgot what the question was. But you get the point. I hope they did too.

"You were mask nazis during the last plandemic and I was kicked out you the store for not wearing a mask that met your specifications. I was not happy. I'm surprised I came back to Costco. Next time I will cancel my membership."

Was in Modesto Costco today. No mandates, a few maskers. Did not look for masks for sale. No aisles.
Then went to Kaiser. No mandates. Boxes of masks said nothing about disease or respirator, just single use. Pharmacy had a few customers and workers masked.

Yep, it sounds like someone jumped the gun. It is pronounced, especially reading the UK papers, that this is a "plan" and not just in the US. So it isn't just the "Election Variant," though I'm sure it will be used that way.

One weird thing I've seen following the UK mainstream press is that in addition to the all the lock-down and COVID scary, suddenly, out of nowhere, they are shutting down huge numbers of public schools and potentially other places (like hospitals) because of faulty cement used in the 1950s though the 1970s to build them.

Now it is true. This stuff doesn't age well and is starting to collapse. But a week before the school term starts (Monday), hundreds if not thousands of schools are being shut down due to "dangerous" buildings. Many kids are being told to go back to "COVID" type schools online, leaving parents with no babysitting service they need to continue working. Not only that, but hospitals are looking at closing or shutting wards, as are other public buildings.

No one knows why the government waited until the opening of the school year to announce this (again in the United Kingdom) or why it is suddenly so urgent now if it wasn't three weeks ago.

My first thought was along the lines of they realized COVID lockdowns wouldn't work this time (or not fast enough) and for some reason they want to shut things in the UK down now. I have no idea why.

Went to Costco in Sioux Falls yesterday. No sign of anything Covid related: no directional arrows, no workers wearing masks. DH saw two customers outside wearing masks but that was it.
