Non-Binary Biden Official Fired After Luggage Charges, Therapist Previously Warned About His 'Lies and Behavior'
Mike Miller
5–6 minutes

Controversial Biden nuclear official Sam Brinton, recently charged with stealing women’s luggage on at least two occasions, has been fired after felony charges were filed twice against the “non-binary” cross-dresser. The kicker: A psychotherapist warned lawmakers about Brinton’s past behavior, multiple times.

Via the Daily Beast:

“Sam Brinton is no longer a DOE employee,” a Department of Energy spokesperson told The Daily Beast on Monday evening. “By law, the Department of Energy cannot comment further on personnel matters.”

As we reported on Friday, a felony arrest warrant was issued in Las Vegas for the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Spent Fuel and Waste Disposition in the Office of Nuclear Energy on a second felony charge for stealing luggage from the Harry Reid Airport.

Brinton was first charged with a felony in November for stealing a woman’s Vera Bradley suitcase reportedly worth $2,325 from baggage claim at the Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport on Sept. 16, according to court documents. Brinton at first denied the charge, but later said he took the designer luggage by mistake.

Here’s where the story really gets interesting.

Dr. Joseph Nicolosi, Jr., a licensed psychotherapist warned state lawmakers and LGBT groups about Brinton’s various stories about the alleged abuses he suffered in therapy sessions, according to the Daily Signal.

My colleagues and I warned lawmakers in California and Massachusetts, and the LGBT activist groups which were sponsoring him, about Sam Brinton’s ever-changing story about abuse he allegedly underwent in therapy because of his LGBT attractions,”“But nobody cared, so Brinton’s testimony about his alleged experience played a key role in banning legitimate practices across the nation

Here’s more from Daily Signal:

Brinton testified in support of therapy bans, claiming that he suffered from “conversion therapy.” However, even LGBT activist Wayne Beson — who vehemently opposes “conversion therapy”—noted in LGBTQ Nation that Brinton’s story was “too good to be true” and faulted LGBT activist groups and the press for failing to verify it before championing his cause.

California and Massachusetts went on to ban “conversion therapy,” a term the American Psychiatric Association defines as being “based upon the assumption that homosexuality per se is a mental disorder or that a patient should change his/her homosexual orientation.”

According to the LGBT group The Movement Advancement Project, “conversion therapy” bans have become law in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and Washington, D.C.

“Sam Brinton’s story was always too good to be true,” Nicolosi told Daily Signal. “But politicians and activists cared more about how he advanced their narrative than about ensuring that people understand that sexual fluidity goes more than just one way.”

As my colleague Brandon Morse reported, the controversies surrounding Brinton go far beyond his penchant for stealing women’s suitcases from airport luggage carousels. The “gender-fluid” now-former Biden official reportedly defended the now-deleted website “Rentboy.com” following an illegal prostitution raid for connecting young male prostitutes with clients. The Department of Homeland Security arrested seven employees, and indictments revealed negligence in age verification, calling it a “gray area” on site.

A White House spokesperson didn’t immediately return The Daily Beast’s request for comment on Brinton’s reported departure, and Sam Brinton couldn’t be reached.

The Bottom Line

I can’t end without first pointing out the obvious. In the case of the Hunter Biden laptop scandal, not to mention Joe Biden — AKA “The Big Guy” and his involvement in The Biden Family Business — imagine for a nanosecond the histrionic meltdown on the left if one of Donald Trump’s sons — and Trump himself — were involved instead of Joe Biden and his crackhead son.

The same double standard applies to the tawdry tale of Sam Brinton and his two felony arrest warrants. If this disturbed guy had worked for Trump — which never would have happened — Democrats and the liberal media lapdogs would’ve lost their ever-loving minds. And they know it.

Seems this should have been all over the news. I googled this AM and found nothing - just articles from two to three days ago. Then tonight I found a handful of sites. Not CNN, FOX...though.

Someone trying to keep this quiet?? - since the DOE paraded him around as such a catch for their department - a "LGBTQ youth advocate"

So did they just transfer him to another department??

Edited to add - it's on the nypost...finally

Even though I think he was a career civil servant (I think again, I'm not sure), he could at least be suspended with those kinds of charges against him. If convicted, it is one of the ways a career civil servant can be fired, with cause, even if they have been with the Federal Service for many years.

As a former US Personnel Clerk, I can attest that employees can even be fired for poor performance; it is complicated. so many managers prefer the problem transfer "elsewhere." But being convicted of certain types of crime, especially a felony, can be a ticket directly out the door.

Since they said he is "no longer an employee of DOE," that could mean either he has been fired or transferred, but he probably isn't just suspended without pay.

Optics FINALLY overcomes incompetence.

Biden needs employees who "meet the deviant standard" but can at least put up a credible front as they run down the country.

The APPEARANCE of competence IS required. Deviancy is a career plus but it can't get in the way of appearance.

Or you can be the Surgeon General who basically never gets air-time anyway. Or the Transportation Secretary who may still be at home on "parental leave."

I give up.
You mean there IS a behavior so repugnant that even Democrats won't stand for it?

...and it's stealing women's luggage? Multiple times?

Serious psych issue going on with that one. It probably would have been overlooked if he hadn't been caught and brought it to nationwide attention. He's an aberration, and has embarrassed them. They can't stand that, for their perversions to be out in the public.

What bugs many people about both sides, when they get in power, is that they tend to circle the wagons with officials who anybody with common sense would have dismissed as soon as they showed their utter incompetence or corruption. What would have lasted probably minutes with normal people gets dragged out in weeks with politicians.

With the left, it's exacerbated by the fact that said "officials" are freakazoids that most of us would never have hired in the first place.
