Mr. President,

Ladies and gentlemen of

the government, ladies and gentlemen,
The time is serious, France is in peril, several deadly dangers threaten it. We who, even in retirement, remain soldiers of France, cannot, in the present circumstances, remain indifferent to the fate of our beautiful country.

Our tricolour flags are not just a piece of cloth, they symbolize the tradition, through the ages, of those who, regardless of their skin colors or their confessions, served France and gave their lives for it. On these flags, we find in golden letters the words "Honour and Fatherland." Our honour today lies in the denunciation of the crime that afflicts our homeland.
A crime that, through a certain anti-racism, appears for a single purpose: to create on our soil an ill-being, even a hatred between communities. Today, some talk about racialism, indigenism and decolonial theories, but through these terms it is the race war that these hateful and fanatical partisans want. They despise our country, its traditions, its culture, and want to see it dissolve by ripping off its past and history. Thus, through statues, they attacking ancient military and civilian glories by analysing centuries-old statements.
A crime that, together with Islamism and the suburban hordes, leads to the detachment of multiple parcels of the nation to transform them into territories subject to dogmas contrary to our constitution. However, every Frenchman, regardless of his belief or non-belief, is everywhere at home in France; there can and must be no city, no neighbourhood where the laws of the Republic do not apply.
- Deement, because hatred takes over the fraternity during demonstrations where the authorities use the forces of law and order as substitute agents and scapegoats in the face of French people in yellow vests expressing their despair. This comes as infiltrated and hooded individuals ransack businesses and threaten these same law enforcement forces. However, they are merely applying the sometimes contradictory directives given by you, the rulers.
The perils are rising, violence is increasing by the day. Who would have predicted ten years ago that a teacher would one day be beheaded after leaving college? However, we servants of the Nation, who have always been ready to put our skins at the end of our commitment, as demanded by our military state, cannot be faced with such actions by passive spectators.
Therefore, those who run our country must find the courage to eradicate these dangers. To do this, it is often enough to apply without weakness the laws that already exist. Don't forget that, like us, a great majority of our fellow citizens are overwhelmed by your guilty swerfing and silence.
As Cardinal Mercier, primate of Belgium, said: "When prudence is everywhere, courage is nowhere." So, ladies and gentlemen, enough procrastination, the hour is serious, the work is colossal; don't waste time and know that we are willing to support policies that will take into account the nation's safeguarding.
On the other hand, if nothing is done, laxity will continue to spread inexorably in society, ultimately causing an explosion and the intervention of our active comrades in a perilous mission to protect our civilizational values and safeguard our compatriots on national territory.
As we can see, it is no longer time to procrastinate, otherwise tomorrow the civil war will put an end to this growing chaos, and the dead, for whom you will bear responsibility, will count in the thousands.

In case the translation missed the mark, these folks are DONE!! FINITO!! OUTTAHEAH!! with the French handling of things. The level of OH so politely phrased anger (the French ARE civilized, after all) STRONGLY smells of La Revolution!!!

All y'all who spent time in (as BC says "Affy") KNOW that the French AF has NO ISSUE with Honeur and GUTZ!! Couple of my friends who survived the Rock Pile point out the BEST sound in the WHOLE WIDE WORLD is the sweet sound of a PROFESSIONAL French Lady asking where they want the ordnance put.

If these guys are both confident enough, as well as fed up enough, to sign such a letter, IMHO it would be safe to assume that the opinion of the majority of the officer and NCO corps is along the same line. If the professional political class doesn't heed this "warning", there are likely to be a lot of new pot marked walls around Metropolitan France, and even if they do.

This begs another question, is this also a prevailing opinion within the other NATO/EU states, never mind the "less political" in the US forces?

Yeah, those "dropped" MASs, Lebels and Berthiers tended to be full of either bullet and shrapnel holes and covered in blood. If you read the histories of French arms for the last couple of hundred years, the issue hasn't been the troops but the leadership, both military and political.

France: 20 ex-generals warn Macron of chaos, civil war
Open letter urge authorities to act before violence is unleashed by growing chaos

24.04.2021

PARIS
Former generals and military personnel warned President Emmanuel Macron in a letter to act against the looming dangers of hatred due to social tensions, religious extremism or face a civil war-like situation in the future.

The open letter is an initiative of retired gendarmerie officer Jean-Pierre Fabre-Bernadac that was published on his Place Armes blog, an online community of military personnel.

It was signed by 20 retired generals and more than 1,000 officials of different rank and files in the military, police and gendarmerie who claimed that they cannot remain “indifferent” and “passive spectators” in the current circumstances.

“Perils are mounting, violence is increasing day by day. Who would have predicted ten years ago that a professor would one day be beheaded when he left college?,” the letter asks while noting growing social problems, religious extremism and “hateful and fanatic partisans.”

The letter said Islamism in France has resulted in an attempt to create districts “where the laws of the Republic do not apply” and “transform them into territories subject to dogmas contrary to our constitution.”

It claims that the ruling power uses the police as a proxy and scapegoat in demonstrations like the yellow vests through which the French people are expressing despair.

The letter exhorts the ruling dispensation to move beyond “dabbling and guilty silences” and act, otherwise it will be responsible for a civil war and several deaths borne out of the growing chaos.

Fabre-Bernadac whose latest book, The damned of France--between media lynching and daily violence, released last month also talks highlights similar narratives and fractures in French society based on identities like fascist, Islamophobic and homophobic.

In a discussion on Sud Radio earlier this week, he said he was fearful of the current situation which is headed toward an explosion.

“I will not say the word civil war but it is not far," he said.

The letter was endorsed by far-right opposition leader Marine Le Pen on the right-wing news site Valeurs Actuelles.

“The concerns that you courageously express cannot remain at the stage of expressing indignation, however powerful. It requires in democracy, the search for a political solution which must materialize through a project of alternation,” she said, inviting retired military personnel to join her campaign in the 2022 presidential election.

Pride comes before the fall.....Pride month ended.
It’s interesting to see all the western world is under the exact same attack, Canada being another prime example. I expect once one citizenry fights back, all will follow suit. Covid be damned, islam be damned, diversity and sodomites be damned, totalitarian governments be damned. That’s the new world order I can get behind.
Come Lord Jesus, that’s the only new order that matters.

The French military is no joke. They can kick *ss with the best of them. Large tip of the hat to those who signed the letter. Vive La France!
You really should check into their logistics. Hint: they have few helicopters and hardly a tithe of an equivalent of SAC. There are reasons Dien Bin Phu and Khe Sanh turned out so differently.

The reason Dien Bien Phu ended differently to Khe Sanh was arguably both the use by the US of B-52s in the CAS role and the ability to keep supplying Khe Sanh throughout the siege. Read Hell in a Very Small Place by Bernard Fall.

As for SAC, for a county of 60 million, they keep 1 of 4 SSBNs with 16 M51 (equivalent to Trident 2s) at sea on alert at all times along with nuclear missile carrying strike aircraft within the country or deployed on their CVN.

Logistics and such, they're dealing with, and are correcting, the decisions of the "peace dividend" like everyone else.

ETA: One of the big drivers for the French to get nuclear weapons, besides the results of the Second World War, was to prevent another situation like Dien Bien Phu. The French had requested nuclear strikes from the US to break the siege by the Viet Minh and Eisenhower had denied it to them.

Greetings me Droogs N Droogettes!
Neverin my long life did I think that I'd say these words.
I think DeadDad just rolled over in his grave.
Looks like the French Army finally grew a set of balls.

Ya got to admit, the French Foreign Legion is badass...those are Legion Pioneers... Combat Engineers... The axe is what they used to use to breach the old-school fortifications... meaning charge up to a wooden walled fortress, and start whacking at it to cut a hole in it... under fire. IF they survived, they were allowed to grow a beard, meaning they survived their trial by combat... it's now a sacred tradition in the Legion. So...

The 20 Top Generals, active duty AND retired wrote a letter to all the Political Creatures in France. I'm only going to hit the high points, but DAMN. They ain't playing that I can tell.
The story is here, and you'll need the translate, as it's in french: "Pour un retour de l'honneur de nos gouvernants" : 20 généraux appellent Macron à défendre le patriotisme - Valeurs actuelles

Mr. President,
Ladies and Gentlemen of the Government,
Ladies and Gentlemen, Members of Parliament,

The hour is serious, France is in danger, several mortal dangers threaten it. We who, even in retirement, remain soldiers of France, cannot, in the current circumstances, remain indifferent to the fate of our beautiful country.

The letter goes on in naming names so to speak... calling out the Leadershit for "dabbling and guilty silences" in allowing the Haj and alllll the rest of the Globalist Scum to ride roughshod over "La Belle France." They call out the double standards of laws being enforced, the military being misused, and the lack of faith to the Fatherland.

The key paragraph is as follows (bold mine): "...if nothing is done, laxity will continue to spread inexorably in society, ultimately causing an explosion and the intervention of our active comrades in a perilous mission of protecting our civilizational values and safeguarding our compatriots on the national territory."

"As we can see, it is no longer time to procrastinate, otherwise, tomorrow the civil war will put an end to this growing chaos, and the deaths, for which you will bear the responsibility, will number in the thousands."

In other words, the Top Generals are ****ing done with no-go zones, Jihadis killing, raping, and burning churches, and all the 'other' shit they've had to put up with including the defacement and defilement of their Heritage that "...they attack, through statues, ancient military and civilian glories by analyzing words that are centuries old."

All while the Political Class do nothing but allow it to keep happening.

From the names attached to the letter... I'm thinking these guys are ****ing balls out, on the chopping block dead ****ing serious. That, here in the States, if they were still active duty? Buh-bye career. Retired? This current crop of Anuses in Power? They'll go after the pension and strip them of the retirement bennies. Don't know how the French DotMil is IRL... lots of jokes about "French Rifles, never fired, only dropped once" but in reality, good guys, and Hardcore.

Especially the Legion.
True story, I actually was going to apply. No Joke.... When I RIF'd after Gulf One, and was stuck in Reserve Hell, Active Duty was closed for a long time (22 months) before I could go 'back in boots' full time... Close to the end, after calling the recruiter daily, they finally re-opened to 'prior service' and thank God they did, as I had already been in comms with a Recruiter in Aubagne. That's where the Legion does the pre-selection. When Big Army called me back, I had been saving for the plane ticket...

Wonder what -might have been- Aye?

So yep, as they used to say, "As France goes, so goes the Fate of Europe." And in this case, sounds like the French have had it up to their baguettes and croissants with the Wogs and Bushboogies from Africa. I mean the French, as a whole are relatively intolerable, however, I do feel for them, as they've been mud-sucked like a Mother****er by the Globalist Cabal and their Cuck-in-Charge, the MILF Lover, Maricón.

I think they found their balls because of the EU Split... When Brexit went down, and now that the Brits are reasserting theyselves (they have eons of damage to un**** of course) but I think that the French Generals have decided to tell the Politicos that they're running out of time...

For all the shit we talk about them, they're not shy about slaughtering each other, and even moreso, ****ing outsiders...poubelle étrangère as it is...The putain d'arabes have worn out their welcome finally. I'm just amazed that it took THIS long.

Now, I'm hoping to follow up.

Emmanuel Macron crisis: Le Pen surges as French election panic sets in for president
EMMANUEL MACRON is facing an unexpectedly tight French election next year after a new poll showed rival Marine Le Pen hot on his heels.
By JAMES BICKERTON
12:37, Fri, Apr 23, 2021 | UPDATED: 19:56, Fri, Apr 23, 2021

A recent poll has put Ms Le Pen just a handful of points behind incumbent Mr Macron in the crucial second round of voting. Anger at the EU’s failed coronavirus rollout, immigration and terrorism have sparked a surge in the radical right candidate’s popularity.

RELATED ARTICLES

Victory for Ms Le Pen would be a big blow for Brussels, as Ms Le Pen is fiercely eurosceptic and is vowing to strengthen France’s borders.

The Jean-Jaures Foundation, a French centre-left think tank, warned conservative voters who rejected Ms Le Pen in 2017 may vote for her this time.

Four years ago Mr Macron won the presidency by an impressive 66 percent to 34 percent.

But a new poll has suggested the 2022 contest is likely to be much closer.

A Harris Interactive poll found Ms Le Pen will still lose to Mr Macron in the second round - but by a much smaller margin of 46 percent to 54 percent.

Half of left-wing French voters said they might not bother voting for Mr Macron to beat his far-right rival.

If conservative voters embrace Ms Le Pen and her National Rally party it would shatter the ‘republican front’ which has previously kept the far-right from power.

French presidential elections have two rounds with just the two most popular candidates going into the second-round run-off.

READ MORE: Macron begged to speed up rollout as France risks 'multi-billion' blow

Typically French conservatives, liberals and socialists have united whenever faced by a National Rally candidate.

For example, in 2002 conservative Jacques Chirac beat Jean-Marie Le Pen, Marine’s father, by 82 percent of the vote to 18 percent.

Ms Le Pen has made concerted efforts to reach conservative voters and has moderated many of her party’s positions.

National Rally, renamed from the Front National, no longer advocates France leaving the EU or Eurozone.

Jward its been building for years now. The Yellow Vest protests and fuel price protests have been coupled with the rise of French nationalism under the leadership of LePen. Probably sooner rather than later, something has to give.

When I referred to the French having no real equivalent of SAC, it wasn't the nuke delivery capability I had in mind. (Nuclear weapons are almost always of zero value in 4th Generation wars, excepting if you WANT to lose.)

Rather, I was thinking no French ability to do anything like the Berlin Airlift in 1948, Operation Nickel Grass to resupply the Israeli Defense Forces during the Yom Kippur War in 1973, the Desert Shield buildup in Saudi Arabia seventeen years later, ad infinitum. History would have been rather different without those.

Minnesota have you ever heard of Airbus? Maybe a little old fashion but I think they could deliver a bomb or anything else just about anywhere they wanted to the same as the US did in WWII.

Try and fit even a few Humvees on such passenger planes. The C-5As can have four Greyhound buses just drive right inside each of them, while C-141s are made to load pallet-size items in them.

Didn't say it would be easy. Just said the French have the equipment, know how and aircraft to get the job done if they so choose.

The C-17 Globemaster may not be a C-5 but it's also kind of impressive when it gets airborne. Saw one not to long ago.

I don't know if the French have something similar to the Civil Reserve Airfleet, but they do have on strength over 70 C-160s and 20 ish C-130s along with A400s coming on line. For a country of 60 million people and a nuclear club member that could be seen as "light", particularly in the helicopter category. But if you throw in either B-747 freighters or NATO pooled aircraft it is probably "sufficient" for "normal" needs.

The thing about nukes, or other WMDs, is they're "unusable" until they aren't.

Taking into account past comments by PLA/CCP officers about biologicals and our current Covid-19 experience could be seen as such an example at some point if the evidence ever comes to light.

Got an email from France, dear friend this morning, things very tense there over the policewoman in Paris attacked by knife weilding Islamic from Tunisia yesterday

French police worker killed in knife attack at station near Paris (msn.com)

"...Le Pen told French TV hours after the Rambouillet attack that it was shocking that the assailant had entered France illegally and lived without papers for a decade before obtaining status in France and that all illegal residents should be deported. She said French people currently felt they were “encircled by violence and criminality”..."

There was also an attack on Thursday using rocks and fireworks aimed at Firemen responding to a call in Lille.

The shoot to kill with the knife maniacs must absolutely be maintained here, they are imitating machete behaviors and it cannot be tolerated.

The reset ( and paybacks ) will be global when it gets underway.
