I am so freakin tired and I can't shut the damn computer off.

I've always been a night owl of sorts but, in recent weeks, it's really got bad for me and, much like you, I am having a hard time sleeping well these days. I'm not scared or panicky but I am concerned. Calm but concerned is how I would put it (I guess).

It may NEVER again be safe to go to bed...or turn off the computer.

The gov. continues to ladle out nothing but political pablum - with a side of BS - relating to Ebola.

THEY LIE - it's' as simple as that.

Have to wonder if some of them still believe their own LIES....

And yes, you CAN keep your Doc. if you like your Doc.

Who the hell do they think they're kidding?

Somewhere in the bible I think Jesus says, "Don't be worrying about tomorrow. There's plenty enough to do today."

I know those aren't the exact words but close enough.

I have a friend that says the same thing. We need to learn to live in the "now". Live in the moment. It's ok to check on the news and I love all the excitement here at TB, but my priority is living now.

Had another friend that was a speaker at a seminar. He got up to the podium and had a depressed, hang dog expression on his face. His first words were....."I have had many terrible things in my life, and most of them have never happened."

What he was saying was that most of the trauma in his life were due to his mind and emotions. Immediately everyone started laughing because we knew he was 100% right on and we all do the same thing.

This was a man that spoke words of wisdom. I never forgot his words and it was 30 yrs. ago he spoke them.

Vomiting and sudden death are ALSO symptoms of heart attack. "Black" people, especially those with hypertension or diabetes (which are significant risk factors) have a higher risk of heart disease than other races. Nigeria has been very aggressive in their quarantine protocols and it's possible this was indeed a false alarm.

If other passengers on the plane come down with Ebola symptoms, well then, yes my hair will be on fire.

The only good thing about these flights are they land in the big cities--liberal enclaves-- and not in the rural areas--if Ebola is being unleashed the libs are going first. LOL Sorry after weeks of reading everything and watching everything--it time to laugh. Think I will build a Halloween display for the first time in years. Ebola Zombies--fashioned after a certain liberal city council--with which I do battle regularly. I'll probably burn in Hades but the comic relief will be awesome when I put it on FB.

Anna brain bleed will cause you to vomit
They probably didn't see the typical blood oozing from many places at death. BUT... there is no rule that says a victim has to survive long enough for that to happen. If he had a weak vessel in the brain he could stroke out before blood leaks from his capillaries. Just my silly guess.

All those of you who discredit your government on this account are prejice.

He was black, likely Muslim - and looking for a better lifestyle. You're white. That says it all.

And they are from the government and here to help. And that says what wasn't said above, which is all.

You can't blame the Marxists for wanting to take advantage of a natural situation. It is, after all, what they do.

Leave no opportunity (to forward the revolution) ...

Everyone realizes that the guy may of died of something else. Could of easily had a MI, vomited on himself and expired. It's the cavalier reaction of the guy from CDC that has everyone uptight. How can a 'cursory' evaluation lead to the conclusion that was made.

Except for the media blackout.... so we can't independently confirm this...

“The CDC went on the plane, examined the dead body and said the person did not have Ebola,” King said.

Speaking of Nigeria, Last night I saw a Headline somewhere for a TV News station in Houston,

"Cypress TX hazmat crews respond to women who may have died from ebola",

Women was sick after returning last Sun. from Nigeria, daughter went to check on her, she was dead.

why in the flying frick can they rule out ebola so soon?

The flight was from Nigeria and Nigeria claims it has no Ebola. So maybe Nigeria is covering something up, and maybe the criteria for Ebola suspicion needs to be broadened.

Watcher ---just post the Cypress TX story/picture on the Main ebola thread. Thanks Watcher.

I wonder what is coming out of Nigeria, I don't think that country is clear/clean of ebola.

Things have been popping so fast I got behind in reading the ebola threads (and I got sick from stressing over it) so I'm just NOW getting around to reading THIS one.

Well---we'd been SAYING we NEEDED a FASTER ebola test.

Now we HAVE one!

The magic "look-say" exam!

The new training from the CDC allows them to just LOOK at a person and tell with ONE LOOK whether they have ebola or not!

Isn't that WONDERFUL?

A passenger died on a Nigeria-to-JFK flight after a vomiting fit Thursday — and a top lawmaker said officials gave the corpse only a “cursory” exam before declaring that the victim did not have Ebola.

Rep. Peter King said in a letter to Homeland Security and Customs and Border Protection that the handling of the remains exposed serious flaws in airport preparedness for an Ebola outbreak.

Between 70 and 100 passengers a day arrive at JFK from the Ebola epicenter countries of Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea, King noted, and they have access to public restrooms and mingle with other travelers before their first screening.

“Given the high volume of travelers at JFK, it is essential that extraordinary measures are taken to intercept possible Ebola-infected passengers,” while keeping the public and first responders safe, King (R-LI) wrote to Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson and Customs Commissioner Gil Kerlikowske.

“These individuals transit the airport with the rest of the traveling population, including using the restrooms,” King wrote.

“It is only after they arrive at the Customs and Border Protection primary screening location that they are separated and sent to secondary inspection for a medical check and to complete the questionnaire,” he wrote Johnson.

His letter demands Homeland Security immediately beef up protocols for potentially infected passengers both in flight and at the terminal itself, prior to their reaching the screening location.

The letter also demands better training and safety equipment for the Port Authority police and Customs and Border Protection officials who can come into contact with high-risk passengers.

The unnamed passenger, age 63, had boarded an Arik Air plane Wednesday night out of Lagos, Nigeria, which has had 19 Ebola cases this year though no new cases in the past month.

He was vomiting in his seat and died sometime before the plane landed around 6 a.m., the source said. The crew contacted the CDC, whose officials boarded the plane as about 145 worried passengers remained on board, a federal law enforcement source said.

“The door [to the terminal] was left open, which a lot of the first responders found alarming,” said the source.

“The CDC went on the plane, examined the dead body and said the person did not have Ebola,” King told The Post. “It was, what I was told, a cursory examination. The Port Authority cops and personnel from Customs and Border Protection were there . . . Their concern was, how could you tell so quickly? And what adds to the concern is how wrong the CDC has been over the past few weeks.”

The CDC declined to comment on the passenger

I really think that God is personally giving the POTUS ample warnings with this plague. .....and obviously Obola is flat out IGNORING those warnings. ...the POTUS, I believe, is about to receive some serious WOE for ignoring the Father. I would not want to be around Obama in the near future. ...

I wouldn't want to be around him at any time under any circumstances.

Apparently now vomiting and dying in front of scores of confined witnesses isn't enough. One has to explode in a giant bloodbath like a True Blood vampire before CDC will acknowledge anything unusual. And the day after that's reported, even that won't register.

THIS. I predict that not a single person will have been found to have Ebola until after the election. And, possibly, none or just very few until AFTER Black Friday. They're trapped, really, because enough people know that so many folk have been exposed, hither thither and yon, and after a week or 2 of silence, at least 50% of the allegedly sentient populace will realize that that can't possibly be true. On the other hand, they seem to believe that to admit any more infections is not 'controlling the story'.

I have said before it would either be that (above scenario) or, it will be a few days before elections so they can suspend/cancel elections.

It doesn't really matter, the next two+ years in the US are going to be a nightmare one way or the other.
