The fact that this article showcases his past accomplishments and no details of the accident, tells me it's not looking good and he has a long road of recovery ahead.

More MSM manipulative BS and not straight facts.

We've enjoyed watching his flicks (and not just as Hawkeye). Prayers for a good recovery for him.

How on earth could you sustain critical injuries plowing snow?
Did he go off the road or flip his truck over somehow?….or what do you think?

Strange story, for sure!

First thought is he was not on the plow. Might have got off/out for some reason. But he could easily have rolled over or into a ditch

Never heard of the guy until that Bourne movie that didn't have Jason Bourne in it. That being said, the reporter who wrote the article needs to go back to remedial journalism school for sure, and I do hope he is able to recover from the snow plow accident.

A weather related snow plow incident - nothing more, no details. That seems odd. I seriously doubt if this guy had a full size highway department plow truck, but rather had something mounted on a pick up. With that said, maybe he crashed into something or went off into a ravine. I've run snow plows before, the faster one goes the farther the snow will fling off and out to the side. Speed could have been a factor.

If every incompetent journalist took a remedial journalism course, the schools would be flooded beyond capacity.

People where I live don't pay attention, and when they reach the end of their driveway, they'll just pull right out into oncoming traffic.
Our DOT doesn't have snow plows, they just put huge blades on the dump trucks that are over a lane wide. If you meet the plow truck , you have to pull over on the shoulder and hope you don't get stuck. A couple years ago, a woman who was stuck behind the truck decided she was going to pass. She died on the scene and put the plow driver in the hospital. Most people don't know how to drive on dry pavement, much less snow and ice.

Accidents happen. Remember that young man who played Chekov in the new Star Trek reboots? Something pinned him ... a car? ... in his own driveway and he died of suffocation with no one around.

Who knows what happened but celebrity doesn't protect you from Mr. Murphy.

He was great in Wind River. And the Gary Webb biopic was superb, Kill the Messenger, re: the hit on the journalist that broke the LA crack cocaine epidemic.

Not into his Avengers stuff. Daily Mail suggested its a long private road and he plows for neighbors as well. Sounds like he rolled it. Hopefully he can heal from this.

A guy down the road died last week in a farm accident . Very experienced and it was still his time. Shit happens regardless of experience or political affiliation. Hope he recovers.
Yep, friend had a nephew die after rolling a tractor over. Used the same tractor in the same field for 40 something years.
Turned out they had changed one of the big rear tires, old one was calcium filled new one was not. When the kid crossed the field the light one was on the high side and over it went.

Mt Rose is dangerous at the best of time. Private roads up there would have been slammed with snow, even at the bottom of the hill. There was 9 inches at the Reno airport and it’s lower elevation and not in mountains.

I applaud him for getting out in the mess and trying to help neighbors. I doubt you could have gotten any private snow removal company to even go up there.

Praying he recovers soon.

Been their stock-in-trade for decades now.

We'll get better info from some TB2K member who lives in Nevada.
