Two vehement classes (or sub-classes) of folks anti- Ron Paul, are ~

> Single Issue: Right-to-Lifers

Ron Paul does not offer to make Abortion ILLEGAL on a Federal Level.

> Single Issue: Israel First!

Those who oppose Ron Paul's "foreign policy" because he does not make FOREIGN AID exception for Israel.

If that comment was referring to my post... I daresay you exhibit an astounding lack of reading comprehension and deductive reasoning.

Thank you for supporting Paul in the past.

But shame is the only thing that makes sense to me - every other candidate has promised to break his oath of office before he takes it.

every other candidate has promised to break his oath of office before he takes it.

every other candidate has promised to break his oath of office before he takes it.

every other candidate has promised to break his oath of office before he takes it.

every other candidate has promised to break his oath of office before he takes it.

So what is it then that motivates their supporters?

Help me I am confused here?

every other candidate has promised to break his oath of office before he takes it.

The first act in office will be one of fraud arguably one of treason.

Someone explain how any decent person anyone who calls themselves a patriot supports anyone other than Paul?

Look at it this way. A lot of Dr. Paul's supporters state and act that he will bring all the troops home from where ever they are and that two, he will end entitlements and subsidies. First he has stated that everything will take time, no changes will be immediate ... he isn't specific, gives no absolutes. People who already like Dr. Paul may forgive this, others will see it as hypocrisy.

Next is that because he will not do things immediately the more idealistic and rant inclined Dr. Paul supporters will find that their idol in a sense has feet of clay just like every other politician out there. While his intentions are to ultimately get everything back to a strictly Constitutional government the fact remains that he cannot affect such a change immediately. People who supported him will grow impatient, disillusioned, etc. ... not all, but my guess is about like on the order than the greenies have become disillusioned with BHO.

Dr. Paul is idolized. Big bad no no. That means that any mistake he makes ... such as how the stunt his pulled of ignoring a state and voting block the size of Florida so he could go after the self-serving win ... is going to appear bigger. When people who are on the fence or not convinced that Dr. Paul is the one see that he abandoned his own people in Florida it is only going to push them in the opposite direction.

The more people he alienates, can't communicate with, etc. the greater the momentum against him. In '08 there are a very obvious presence of Dr. Paul here in Florida ... this year next to nada.

I still would rather see RP in than Obama. Heck, I'd rather see Pat Paulson in than Obama. Is he still alive?

Alas No, Pat has passed.

Here is my post from an older thread ~

Pat Paulson

One comment from that site:

Obama wants to be the first black President.
Hillary wants to be the first woman president.
Heck with them, lets vote in the first dead president!
Pat Paulsen for president, now and forever!

(28) Dr. Paul didn't even try in my state and instead focused on the states he could split some delegates in. So, if he doesn't consider my state and its voters important enough now then why should I think he is going to really give a rat's behind if he gets elected?

As i understood it, Florida is 80% registered Democrat, and the majority of the Republicans all live in the Panhandle
