21 Million Fewer Cellphone Users in China May Suggest a High CCP Virus Death Toll
Excerpt from Epoch Times article ( 21 million cell phones cancelled in China)
Cellphones are an indispensable part of life in China.

“The digitization level is very high in China. People can’t survive without a cellphone,” Tang Jingyuan, a U.S.-based China affairs commentator, told The Epoch Times on March 21. “Dealing with the government for pensions and social security, buying train tickets, shopping … no matter what people want to do, they are required to use cellphones.

“The Chinese regime requires all Chinese to use their cellphones to generate a health code. Only with a green health code are Chinese allowed to move in China now. It’s impossible for a person to cancel his cellphone.”

Well this is more than chilling if true. I have no doubt that China is under reporting their numbers, but if this is true, OMG....they got hammered and this doesn't bode well for the rest of the world.

Are they sure it's down by 21 million? I really can't think of any explanation other than deaths. I had a Wild ass guess of about 2 million dead, had NOT considered 21.

A little mouse told me three hundred million plus have died from this virus, in China. Remember they’re still a third world nation at best in some areas second world and in very limited areas first world!

Based on the drastic measures taken of shutting down whole cities and locking people in the buildings, these number actually make more sense than the officially reported number. Frightening thought.

Way it was explained to me is that phone number is your bank and everything number. For them to go silent might mean the truth is out there.

That's essentially a quarter a million people a day for four months, could it have been 300,000?

A billion people, I don't know if 20 million cancellations is abnormal

Its difficult to believe in one sense...just due to the staggering loss of life, but I’d really like to know exactly how they arrived at these numbers...still if true, then it certainly explains why world leaders are so spooked.

21 Million Cellphone Users
China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) announced on March 19 the number of phone users in each province in February. Compared with the previous announcement, which was released on Dec. 18, 2019, for November 2019 data, both cellphone and landline users dropped dramatically. In the same period the year before, the number of users increased. The number of cellphone users decreased from 1.600957 billion to 1.579927 billion, a drop of 21.03 million. The number of landline users decreased from 190.83 million to 189.99 million, a drop of 840,000.

Could be a possibility, I guess. If you clicked on the "announced" link I posted above and then translate it from Chinese to English, you would see they have a TOTAL Mobile users column and also a 4G column. The difference in those 2 columns could be the "less than 4G users" or the "greater than 4G users".

i saw one article months ago (I think the main thread) that the ccp was implementing a red/green tracking phone system...if someone had tested positive they would be red. If they had been cleared either through testing negative etc then they are green. Also had automatic temp sensors in various places and if you registered a fever your “green” would turn to red. Quite 1984 ish

Either it's deaths or the PRC carriers were cutting users based on either "social score" and ability to pay/being late due to no income. But yeah, 21 million out of a billion is 2.1 % so that does square with the numbers elsewhere.

Well considering that Communist Soviet Union didn't release it's WW2 Losses for over 25 years after the war and those numbers are still disputed to this day. The USSR is estimated to have lost between 20 to 27 million citizens from that war.

Even if the Chinese losses are half of this current estimate based on cancelled cell phones are 10 million, that's a shit-ton of people! Even one quarter of that estimated number is still 5 million dead in a matter of weeks!! And a real indication of just how deadly this Wuhan virus truly is. Very very scary!! This could quickly become the Black Death of our modern age if people don't pull their heads out of their arses. People need to take this pandemic seriously. This is no joke.

remember to take into consideration the possibility that dissidents have probably had their phones turned off and anyone that posted "citizen reports" of life and death in China.
