CHAT 10 years since my daughters murder

I will be curious to ask the Lord why Christmas Eve, that was my favorite day of the year. Ben meant to do it the day before but Jen didn't go to the police substation that night as he waited in ambush. The guys she worked with said the new guys would have had to deal with it the day before but the more experienced guys worked Christmas Eve.

Back then the Wauwatosa Police Dept. was an incredible group of people. They did everything for me both times.
So many have left due to retirement and the bad political atmosphere making it almost impossible to do their jobs.

God bless First Responders everywhere. He killed her at a fire station with a police substation to do paperwork. I visited them and they were so kind and so traumatized.

The kids and I always spent Christmas Eve together and we had plans later that day, Jen picked up extra hours
and was going to sleep then do some cooking.

The WPD had Ben the entire time (he never left and came back as incorrectly stated in the video) as obviously he was the first person to be looked at. His parents were at the station wanting to see him but they weren't allowed. They did the most unbelievable things to defend their son. So many people were so kind and so many were so horrible. The saying that these things brings out the best and worst in people is so true.

You guys were the very best of the best and I will never forget your kindness, some days your thoughtful, sweet, prayerful words kept me going. I will never forget that!

Thank you so much and blessings to each and everyone one of you!

Now on to meet this new day and live life as God means it to be lived

I remember this as well, many thoughts and air-hugs, there are no good words for a situation this terrible but I am glad you are able to keep looking ahead, that must be one of the hardest things.
