You, er, kinda' missed the point of my post, brother. Like I said, I think Brian is guilty ... but I'm just not 100% sure. That's what the jury box is for.

As to your other point, the innocent sometimes DO run. Why? It could be fear of unjust treatment by the criminal justice system, mental illness or a host of other reasons. Running is usually not the smartest play, but often, criminals are not the smartest people on the planet. Sometimes smart - and innocent - people just get caught up in bad circumstances.

I once, when I was a young man, got arrested because I was in a parking lot where two guys got in a fight. In the course of their fight, they damaged a car that turned out to belong to a cop! I had nothing to do with the two guys or their fight and they took off. A few minutes later the cops showed up and I was still in the parking lot doing something completely unrelated.

Guess who got arrested (without even a cursory investigation)?

Yes, I got out of it, but in hindsight the smarter play would've been for me to "run" before the cops showed up. It's a tiny example, but illustrates the point.

Best
Doc
I totally agree with you. And your other post on lynching. Those were great.

MP's may be in a different class, but 2 did want to arrest me for robbing a bank in Killeen, TX, because my car looked like the robbers. I was just tooling around post. It all turned out alright, because at about the exact same time, another set of MP's had just arrest the real bank robbers.

As they were standing there with their hands on their guns, and telling me to get out of the car, the call came in over the walkie, that they had them.

I also was in a lawsuit where cops, Justice of the Peace, game wardens and a ton of village people were on the side of my neighbor, and if this had of been Transylvania, or the wild west, I would have been strung up. I have no doubt. But once chancery court was over and they ruled in my favor, all the fair weather friends and village people of my neighbor, never came to visit "their friend" again.

Have never trusted the cops of any flavor, since. One of the cops involved in that, just became the Police Chief of a town south of here, a real low life scum bag. If the ladies want off of their charges they will have to trade favors. Yeah it goes on all the time, even with JP's.

However since yesterday the coroner has given a ruling - homicide.

Which changes the color of things.

The homicide ruling could be anything from accidental thru 1st degree.

Have not read through the whole thread, so there may be some more updates.

A graphic designer who has spent the past four years living in her Airstream trailer said that she believes she is the one that led the FBI to Gabby Petito's body, after agents told her: 'you guys are the ones that really tipped us off to the right place'.
Jessica Schultz told law enforcement that she spotted Petito's boyfriend Brian Laundrie, 23, near the Spread Creek campsite in Wyoming on August 26, 27 and possibly 28.

Petito, 22, was found dead on Sunday, and on Tuesday a coroner confirmed her death was a homicide.
She had set out to travel with Laundrie in July, and the couple were journeying in their white Ford Transit van across the West - but were seen arguing in mid August.

Petito was last seen alive on August 24, and was reported missing on September 11. Laundrie returned home alone to Florida on September 1, and went missing on September 14. A manhunt is underway, with him being deemed officially a 'person of interest'.
Schultz, 38, said that the publicity surrounding the missing New Yorker encouraged her to come forward, and she spoke to the FBI on September 16.

She said in a TikTok that she and a group of friends were camped at Spread Creek from August 22 to 29.
'In that time frame, we all independently noticed that van,' she said.
Schultz said that she noticed the van because it was trying to park, and blocking her way. She very clearly recalled seeing a man alone - who she now believes was Laundrie.

She said she was '100 per cent certain' that it was him.
'He was very... kind of awkward and confused,' she said on TikTok.
'It was just him, there was no Gabby.'

Brian Laundrie and Gabby Petito had been traveling since early July. Petito was reported missing on September 11, and on September 16 a fellow 'van life' traveler told the FBI she believed she had spotted Laundrie

Jessica Schultz says she alerted FBI to remains of Gabby Petito

'He was very kind of awkward and confused. And it was just him. There was no Gabby': Jessica Schultz describes on TikTok seeing Laundrie
'So I saw Brian Laundrie parking his van August 26 at Spread Creek.
'So I had already reported to the FBI what I had seen.
'And I wasn't 100 per cent sure, but now that there is dashcam footage of the van where I saw it, I'm 100 per cent certain that I did see him parking his van.
'And he was very kind of awkward and confused. And it was just him. There was no Gabby.
'But that's only because, as a van lifer, I was checking out their van and I was checking out to see if it was a couple or a solo dude.

'So it was a solo dude, as far as I could see. Unless she was in the back somewhere. But when I pulled up he was driving still and hadn't yet pulled over.
'So I was like, hey, what are you going to do? Are you going to let me pass because it's only one car width of a road.
'And he kind of pulled over like half way, and made me drive half out into the road to go around him.
'So I thought it was just really weird. And for a timeline, it was parked on the 26th, I believe.'
'Sorry my last video cut off. I guess I only get 60 seconds.

'It's probably a good thing as the FBI actually called me back. Not as a result of my TikTok.
'So a group of friends and I were camping at Spread Creek from the 22nd to the 29th.
'And in that time frame we all independently noticed that van parked there. And I noticed it particularly because I had seen that van trying to park. And also because it wasn't actually parked in a designated spot.

'The Spread Creek camping area is a series of designated spots and you're not supposed to camp outside those spots.
'This van was not in a real spot so I figured that he would get booted by the people who patrol the area. But the van was there for several days and nights and it did not get booted. The weirdest part was that there was no indication that there was anybody at the van.
'Usually small van people have their doors open, they're outside, they have a hammock, something. But we didn't see any signs of actual life at the van.'

Schultz approached the van to see if the man wanted to join their group, but saw that he was much younger than them so decided against extending the invite.
'He was just acting weird,' she told The San Francisco Chronicle.
'You know, when you're out in the middle of nowhere, your hackles go up when you see something that's out of the ordinary.'

She added: 'I'm pretty sure he got out of the van to like look around or something.
'There's definitely nobody in that passenger seat; like he definitely doesn't have a girl in there.'
On August 27, Schultz saw the van again.

This time, she was traveling as a passenger in her friend's vehicle, and noticed that the van belonging to Petito and used by her and Laundrie was in the same area.
'I was like, 'Oh, that guy stayed the night,' Schultz recalled telling her friend.
She remembered it clearly, she said, because it was not a designated parking spot.

Schultz also believes she saw the van on August 28, because she recalled thinking it was surprising the owners had not been asked to move on to an actual parking place.
'The weirdest part of it was that there was no indication there was anybody at the van,' Schultz recounted on TikTok.
When footage of the missing couple began circulating, Schultz noticed the distinctive hat that was on the dashboard - which she had seen.
'My friend texted me a picture of the hat on the dashboard and I just lost my s***,' Schultz said.
'And that's when I called the FBI and said, 'Guys, look at Spread Creek.'

Lupe Alvarez, a friend of Schultz's who was camping at the site, said he and his partner first saw teams of police crews looking for Petito arrive on Friday evening.
On Saturday a forest ranger approached them as they were about to set off on a hike and asked them not to destroy any evidence.
'She told us, 'You've probably heard about the missing girl and the van,' Alvarez said.
Schultz said someone with the FBI called her and her friends back for an interview just before 10am on Sunday - before it was announced that Petito's remains had been found.
Schultz recalled that the FBI agent said: 'I've talked to hundreds of people, but you guys are the ones that really tipped us off to the right place, so thank you.'
She added: 'We're triumphant — we were right and we led them in the right direction.
'But then, of course, it's not something you like to be right about. It's been emotionally exhausting for sure.'
A huge manhunt was launched on September 11 to find the missing woman, and police said that they eventually received more than 1,000 tips.
As of Tuesday, the hashtag #GabbyPetito has received more than 650 million views on the social media platform TikTok, according to the Associated Press.
Petito and Laundrie had cultivated a following on social media as the traversed the West in their van, and fellow social media users jumped into the hunt for clues.
The van was spotted in footage made by YouTubers, a TikTok user said that she had given an 'antsy' Laundrie a lift when he was hitchhiking on August 29, and an Idaho woman who owns a shop in the town of Victor said that she had seen the pair around that time.

On Tuesday, a coroner in Wyoming has confirmed that a body found on Sunday is that of Petito, and that her death was a homicide.
On Tuesday night TMZ reported that Laundrie is viewed by prosecutors as the prime suspect, but they are waiting to see if he is found alive, and if there is evidence that he killed her.

The search for Laundrie in the swampy 25,000-acre Carlton Reserve has ended for the night, police in Florida said on Tuesday evening - adding that they will resume on Wednesday.
On Tuesday, the FBI in Denver tweeted: 'Teton County Coroner Dr. Brent Blue confirmed the remains are those of Gabrielle Venora Petito, date of birth March 19, 1999.

'Coroner Blue's initial determination for the manner of death is homicide.
'The cause of death remains pending final autopsy results.'
The FBI on Tuesday said that a forensic search of the camping area where her body was found had ended, and appealed for anyone who was in the area from August 27 to August 30 to contact them.
'We extend sincere condolences to Gabby’s family, friends, and all the people whose lives she touched,' the FBI said in a statement.

They also added her to their 'seeking information' site, describing her as a 'homicide victim'.
Petito's case was being referred to as a criminal investigation for the first time on Tuesday.
'This is an FBI-led criminal investigation and North Port Police are assisting our federal partner in any way we can to bring this investigation to a close,' said Josh Taylor, a spokesperson for Florida's North Port Police Department, in a statement.
Laundrie's family said on Tuesday evening, through their lawyer: 'May Gabby Rest In Peace.'
The Petito family said in a statement on Tuesday afternoon that they will speak publicly after her body is returned home.
Police were alerted on September 11 by Petito's mother, Nichole Schmidt.

Schmidt said that she last spoke to her daughter on August 24.
She then received two text messages from her phone, but the wording sounded odd and she is unsure if Petito sent them.
The couple had been in contact with police shortly before she vanished.
On August 12, a passerby in Moab, Utah, called police after seeing a man and a woman in a blazing row, physically fighting each other.
In the audio, obtained by DailyMail.com, the male caller tells a Grant County sheriff that a 'gentleman' in a white van with a Florida license plate had slapped a girl in the vehicle before driving away.

A witness, known only as Christopher, wrote in his statement - obtained by Fox News - that 'they were talking aggressively [at] each other [and] something definitely seemed off.'
He added: 'At one point, they were sort of fighting over a phone – I think the male took the female's phone. It appeared that he didn't want her in the white van.
'I heard her say, 'Why do you have to be so mean?'

He said he saw Petito allegedly 'punching him in the arm' and trying to get inside the vehicle – which was registered in her name. She had been working as a pharmacy technician to save money for the four-month trip.
'From my point of view, something definitely didn't seem right,' Christopher wrote.
'It was as if the guy was trying to leave her, and maybe take her phone? Not sure but wanted to help out.'

Nobody posted the ruling I'm amazed.

Also of note: According to Judge Jeanne on Fox keeping the boy labeled as "person of interest" is best from a cops point of view. Labeling him "suspect" makes the police up their legalize with Miranda, lawyers, time held, etc... Taking him in under "person of interest" means none of that comes into play.

They can question him forever that way without a lawyer present, and if he doesn't know his rights tough.

'Course if he does, he can walk out at any time.

You should know yours as well.

Is the boy quilty, probably, but him and you should know your rights and not be subject to lynchings or the whims of cops.

Laundrie's Florida neighbors say family appeared to go 'camping' after boyfriend returned from Wyoming

William and Charlene Guthrie live across the street from the Laundries' North Port, Fla., home

The neighbors of the Laundrie family in North Port, Fla. – the would-be in-laws of deceased 22-year-old Gabby Petito – told Fox News Wednesday that about a week after Petito's then-fiance Brian Laundrie returned from the Mountain West, the family packed up an "attached camper" and took what they believed to be a long-weekend camping trip.

Charlene and William Guthrie told "The Story" that it has been a "nightmare" living across from the Laundries since Petito and later Brian went missing.

The Guthries said they only moved to the community, just north of Port Charlotte and Punta Gorda, in early summer. But within months their neighborhood was abuzz with activity.

"We didn't know it was Gabby's, we just assumed it was [Brian's] van," Charlene said when the younger Laundrie returned earlier this month.

"We just thought they had come back from wherever. We didn’t know they were on a trip. We assumed they went back to their house or wherever they got a house … We didn’t know much about them at all," she said.

The Guthries thought Petito was still living in the home with Laundrie's parents, which the Blue Point, N.Y., native had been doing since she moved to Florida to be with Laundrie.

William Guthrie recalled doing some yard work one day when the Laundries hooked what appeared to be a new camper to the back of their pickup truck – and didn't think much of it.

"I saw them doing some work. And then when they prepared for their trip, I saw them loading the camper."

They said the Laundries were gone "for the weekend" after packing up the new camper, and that when police later came to their home on what they were told was a missing persons case, they mentioned seeing the family go off for the weekend.

William added he found it odd that the parents would go off on a camping trip with their 23-year old son in such a small camper.

Comments like this really annoy me. We see so much of this in society today; people judging others behavior as "odd", or suspect, because they have only a superficial (at best) idea what is happening.

I could list 100 very viable scenarios that would involve a couple and their adult son heading off in such a rig, that would make perfect sense and be absolutely reasonable. The sad thing is, these "observers", and they are everywhere, are applying negative labels to actions or behaviors that are simply not understood by the observer because they are not party to the inner workings, motivations or life plans of those they are watching. If THEY don't understand it, it is automatically suspect. I would think NOTHING about seeing my neighbors packing up and heading out in such a rig, because I really have no idea what their plans are.

We have quite a few of this type on this very thread. I read some of the things people view as "evidence" of fishy behavior, or "proof" of character flaws, and think how perfectly normal those things are in the real world. I see people doing things all the time that make no sense to me....because I don't know anything about what they are doing or why. I don't immediately think things are sketchy just because what I witness is of unknown nature or motivation to me. Some people really need to climb down off their self appointed pedestal as judge and jury of things they know nothing about.

That being said, I think he did it, I think his parents have aided and abetted, and I think he is long gone.

That's kind of the point... everyone making those comments, including the neighbors, think the way you do. And that's NOT because they are evil and judgemental, but because of the behavior of the entire Laundrie family. Their behavior, collectively and individually, broke every rule of humanity and empathy.

While legally defensible, one wonders why THE PARENTS are essentially invoking their 5th amendment rights? Do NONE of them give a damn their soon to be daughter in law is missing in the desert? It sure looked like a concerted effort to make sure the body was in as bad of condition as possible.

My heart goes out to Gabby's family. She may have had issues, but she was loved, and their lives have been forever changed.

One observation I would make,

When I lived with my parents, until I was 23, we would go car camping every year that I can remember for two weeks in the summer.

About 12 times we went to the Rockies and the other times we would go to far Northern Wisconsin and spend a night or two at the numerous state and federal campsites. I still have the big canvas Colman tent and Dad's Coleman white gas stove.

Point being.

Over a two week period, we covered a -lot- of ground, visited all sorts of places, and had numerous memorable adventures along the way.

As much as I cherish those memories, I think spending four months in a tiny Ford van could be rather taxing. The logistics of such a venture would seriously impact most any relationship.

I did a summer trip with a girlfriend across country in a converted short bus. It didn’t end well. The cops were called because she freaked out. She normally wasn’t like that but the stress got to her. I sent her home on a bus. I lived in the bus for another 8-9 months and then I needed a space without wheels. I think it would be easier now with cellular internet, instead of just two people staring at each other all the time.

An ‘aggressive’ Brian Laundrie berated wait staff at a Tex-Mex restaurant in Wyoming during an argument over the bill, prompting girlfriend Gabby Petito to apologize for his behavior just days before she disappeared, witnesses say.

Nina Celie Angelo of New Orleans recalled the August 27 incident in Jackson Hole during an interview with Fox News.
Angelo, a photographer, was with her boyfriend, financial adviser Matthew England, when they stopped to have lunch at Merry Piglets sometime between 1 and 2pm.

'We have already talked to the authorities about the situation and we are not allowed to comment on it further,' a restaurant employee told DailyMail.com on Wednesday.

The couple was in Wyoming in late August to attend a wedding.

While dining at the restaurant, they overheard a loud conversation in which another customer was heard screaming at wait staff in what appeared to be an argument over the check.

Angelo said that the man involved in the dispute displayed ‘aggressive’ body language.

The man left the restaurant and then returned around four times, she said. Afterward, a young woman who was with the man came into the restaurant and apologized to wait staff for his behavior.

Merry Piglets officials later posted on Instagram: 'Yes, we can confirm Gabby and Brian were in Merry Piglets.

'We have already notified the FBI and they are aware. We are letting them do their jobs and we are respecting Gabby's family and have nothing further to comment.'

Angelo said she didn’t think much of the incident. When she and her boyfriend returned to New Orleans, the region was ravaged by Hurricane Ida, and they had forgotten about the altercation at the restaurant.

Earlier this month, Petito’s disappearance made headline news. Soon afterward, police body cam footage surfaced showing Petito and Laundrie being interviewed by an officer after a domestic incident in Moab, Utah.

As England watched the images of Petito and Laundrie in the body cam footage, it began to dawn on him early on Wednesday morning that they looked familiar.

'He goes, "Nina, that was the couple fighting at the restaurant",’ Angelo said.

'And it stopped me in my tracks. I felt like the blood left my body.

'I was like, "Oh my God, I completely forgot about that incident".'

The memory of the argument is particularly powerful in light of the news that Petito's body was found nearby at Grand Teton National Park on Sunday.

Laundrie, who is considered a person of interest as he was the last person to see Petito alive, has been missing for days as authorities comb a Florida swamp near his home.

'I have chills right now,' Angelo told Fox News.

'It's crazy because it wasn't just like we passed them on the street — it was a full blown incident.'

On Instagram, Angelo posted a story describing what she saw.

‘Excuse my French, but I am freaking the f*** out,’ Angelo said on her Instagram page.

‘Matt and I just realized - I don’t know cause I’m a dumb a** and I did not put two and two together - that we saw a blowout of a situation between Gabby Petito and Brian Laundrie in Wyoming when we were there.

‘How I did not put two and two together that this happened? I don’t know.’

Angelo said that she had contacted authorities about the incident.

She said that her boyfriend ‘has an insane photographic memory.’

England has told her for days that he ‘knows this guy, Brian’ and that he had ‘seen him before.’

Angelo said England told her: ‘They were the couple fighting in the restaurant.’

‘We were sitting right next to them,’ she said. ‘They got kicked out of the restaurant and were fighting with the hostess.’

Angelo says Petito was 'hysterically crying' and 'walked out.'

'She was crying as she was standing on the sidewalk and I was watching the whole thing unfold,' according to Angelo.
'And he walked back in the restaurant and he's fighting with the hostess.'

Laundrie walked in and out of the restaurant 'four more times' to 'talk to the manager' and 'tell the hostess off,' according to Angelo.

In another video, Angelo says she is 'freaking out' and 'having an out-of-body experience' knowing that she 'did not remember this situation.'

Hours after the restaurant incident, a travel blogger drove by Petito's van. She turned over images she took that included the van to the FBI and her family said the discovery of the footage gave her 'chills.'

Jenn Bethune, who runs 'Red, White and Bethune' on YouTube, said she parsed over her footage from the national park after she was tagged in a post urging anyone who had filmed or photographed the area to search for clues.

The video was captured on August 27 at Spread Creek Dispersed Camping Area near Grand Tetons National Park.

'I got chills all over my body and ran straight back to my laptop, got my GoPro footage, and lo and behold Gabby's van was on there,' she told host Ainsley Earhardt on Fox & Friends on Monday.

Petito, 22, was reported missing on September 11 after being last seen on August 24. Her fiancé Brian Laundrie returned home to Florida on September 1 without her, and refused to cooperate with authorities and was reported missing himself on Friday.

On Sunday, FBI agents found the remains of the missing 22-year-old near the campground in Bethune's video.

Earlier on Wednesday, Petito's family sent a cease and desist letter to Brian Laundrie's lawyer after his business's Yelp page used photos of their dead daughter.

Richard Benson Stafford, the attorney for the Petito family, is demanding the Laundrie family lawyer Steven Bertolino take down the photos by 2pm Wednesday or face 'further action.'

The family initially tried to remove the photos themselves but were informed that only the business owner can add or remove photos, Stafford wrote in the letter dated September 22.

Bertolino has denied having control of the Yelp page and said any suggestion he would 'use this case to drum up any business' is 'disgusting'.

A Yelp spokesperson confirmed to DailyMail.com that the photo of Petito was uploaded by a user - not by Bertolino.

In the letter, Petito's family also demands Bertolino 'cease and desist posting pictures of Gabby Petito to any and all of your social media pages, web pages, or advertisements in an effort to gain business.'

'I am sure this will be taken care of by 2pm or I will take further action on behalf of Gabby's family,' it read.

Yelp is an online directory advertising local businesses where people can leave reviews and ratings.

Bertolino's business page featured a photo of Petito on the page earlier Tuesday.

As of 1pm ET, the only two photos on the webpage was a montage of two pictures of Laundrie and a screengrab of a short bio page.

A warning was also displayed on the Yelp page reading that it was now 'monitored by Yelp's Support team for content related to media reports' and that the site had 'temporarily disabled the posting of content' to the page.

The Yelp spokesperson said the user who uploaded the photo had taken it down.

'We can confirm that the user who uploaded the photo removed it today. Yelp placed an Unusual Activity Alert, as part of our broader Consumer Alerts program, on the business's Yelp page on Tuesday,' they said.

'Businesses and consumers can always report reviews and photos for removal if they believe the content violates Yelp's Terms of Service or Content Guidelines.'

Both the business owner and website users can post photos onto a Yelp business page.

Under Yelp's policies, if a business owner uploads an image onto their Yelp page, it can only be removed by the business owner or by Yelp.

Similarly, if the photo is uploaded by a user, only that same user or Yelp can take it down.

Because the image was posted by a user, Bertolino was not able to remove it from the business page.

It is also unlikely that Bertolino either set up the Yelp page or had any connection to it as the page is listed as 'Unclaimed'.

Business listings can be created by Yelp following the posting of customer reviews and the business owner is then able to 'claim' the business to update business information and respond to reviews.

The 'unclaimed' tag reveals Bertolino has not done this.

Bertolino hit back at the allegations he was using Petito to drum up business, telling ABC7 the suggestion is 'disgusting' and that he has not 'advertised or sought business in over 20 years.'

'That's disgusting. Just so you know, my website and any review sites that I do not control have been overrun by John Q. Public,' he said.

'Indeed yelp actually shut the site down due to the inordinate amount of fake commenting on it.

'I have not advertised or sought business in over 20 years and I would certainly not use this case to drum up any business.'

DailyMail.com has contacted Bertolino for further information and comment.

The legal action was taken hours after Petito's grieving uncle Steve Petito lashed out at Laundrie's attorney in an Instagram post late Tuesday, saying we 'don't require nor want you empathy' and saying his attempt to show 'compassion' are 'beyond disgusting'.

Laundrie's whereabouts are still unknown, with the manhunt entering its fourth day in Florida and law enforcement sources saying the 23-year-old boyfriend of Petito is the 'prime suspect' in her homicide.

Police and FBI agents resumed their search of the Carlton Reserve early Wednesday, sharing photos of search dogs heading out into the 25,000-acre swampland on social media. Dive teams were later spotted heading into the nature reserve around midday.

Bertoloni had released a statement Tuesday after a preliminary autopsy confirmed the body found Sunday in a campsite near Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming belongs to 22-year-old Petito and that her manner of death was homicide.

'May Gabby Rest In Peace,' the attorney said in the statement.

Steve Petito took to social media Tuesday to blast Laundrie's attorney accusing him of being 'as guilty and complicit with this massive cover-up'

'As far as the law is concerned this law firm may be immune due to attorney/client privilege,' he wrote.

'But in the eyes of the public you are as guilty and complicit with this massive cover-up and stalling tactic.'

He added: 'We don't require nor want you empathy. By you trying to show compassion here at this moment is beyond disgusting.'

Steve told Fox News Wednesday the Petito family will release a statement when her remains are returned to them from Wyoming.

The coroner is still carrying out tests on the 22-year-old's body to determine her cause of death.

Police named Laundrie a 'person of interest' in his girlfriend's disappearance last Wednesday.

Ugh, have been following this case. May Gabby rest in peace and may justice be served to the perpetrator of her homicide, which I think we all agree is most likely her fiance Brian. What a shit show of events and a shitty passionate relationship between these two young people. I do believe it is just a matter of time before Brian is "found", dead or alive. Hopefully alive and hopefully at some point willing and able to honestly shed light on what caused Gabby's death. I personally think, SPECULATE, that her death occurred as a result of a passionate argument that the two were engaged in. "In the heat of the moment" type event. I do not see him setting out to murder her in cold blood, but regardless, if she died by his actions or reactions he must be held accountable. I think he is running away from himself more than he is running away from justice being served. IMO this relationship was so toxic and love/hate. What a shame for the two. If it turns out he simply "killed her" then I hope he is served the harshest punishment allowed. Ugh!

ETA, Brian's parents UGH. May they be held accountable for any interference they ran protecting their son and delaying information regarding Gabby to her parents and to those conducting an ongoing investigation. I do believe they are complicit in a coverup, again I am just speculating. Will be interesting to see how this case evolves.

Am I reading this right, that the parents attached a camper to their truck and drove off with the son right after he came back alone and without Gabby??

If this is true and fiance is guilty, parents may be charged as accessories after the fact if they helped with any shenanigans.

i am VERY glad that the attorney was not the one that posted her picture, and it appears he didn't even post that listing for advertising for his practice. i didn't even know that could be done. i thought it was only the business owner that could do that. evidently, i was not the only one. now, i feel very bad for the guy because someone else got people ticked at him and he didn't do anything.

Our plethora of cop shows has done a disservice to the viewing public in that the COP parts of the shows has managed to equate Murder and Homicide, and they're not the same.

ONE person who comes to mind as a counter-example is Joe Kenda. HIS strict use of the term helps to make sure that we the viewers separate the two terms. I ALSO enjoy that the guy he uses playing "Young Joe" is a 10 year vet in 2 departments from the Mid-west.

So they loaded the guy into and RV and took him elsewhere leaving her van in the driveway?

That is Illogical.

Did none of them ever watch and Basic Crime movie or TV show?

They are in Florida-I know a dozen ways to make a car and people disappear there but they left the van?

Which most likely means she didn't die in the van.

There's so much we don't know -- was the place she was found the crime scene, or was she dragged there, for instance?

Seems like that little girl had plenty of warning to ditch the guy and go back home. This is looking more and more like one of those co-dependent, possibly mutual, abuse situations. Unfortunately, leaving is the last thing they'll do.

She wasn't a "little girl." She was 22 and he was 23. They were/are both adults. People calling them "little" is as bad as the whole Trayvon Martin was just a little kid thing that went on during the Zimmerman fiasco that also had a lot of assumptions flying every which way most of them so far from actual facts that most people still don't know the truth today.

mental maturity was definately not there on either side (yes not a good reflection on the parenting they received)

Well, yeah, she WAS little, and a heck of a lot physically weaker than the boyfriend. My thoughts this morning went to whether this guy carried, and I quickly concluded he wasn't errmm.....the type. Guessing if he killed her, it was by his hand..maybe even unintentionally. But physically..she didn't have a chance. Women who stay in these slap-fest relationships forget or ignore the physics and reality of that basic differential.
