My guess is that the answer is one, referring to the one in the question, and the picture of the egg pyramid is irrelevant.

30. There are thirty physical eggs, if you consider the ones in the pyramid to make it work, 16 visible to the eye, except for maybe one peek of one on the right side of the lower level, and one picture of an egg.
