George Mason rejects exemption from vaccine mandate for natural immunity, prompting legal threat

D.C.-area university accepts WHO-approved vaccines with less efficacy than antibodies from COVID recovery.

George Mason University's refusal to recognize natural immunity from COVID-19 or grant merit pay to employees who don't share their vaccination status could land the Virginia public university in court.

A law professor who recovered from COVID-19, and whose doctor says he faces needless risk from vaccination, is challenging GMU's sweeping COVID rules on 9th and 14th Amendment grounds.

GMU is forcing Todd Zywicki to "choose between risking injury to his health on one hand and sustaining injury to his career on the other," says a Wednesday letter to the university from his lawyers at the New Civil Liberties Alliance (NCLA).

Zywicki's doctor and two authors of the Great Barrington Declaration filed 27 pages of statements in support of the law professor, pointing to his robust antibody levels, likely medical complications from vaccination and research on natural immunity's comparable effectiveness to vaccination.

The letter also zings the D.C.-area university for accepting any vaccine approved by the World Health Organization (WHO), including some the reported effectiveness of which is far below that provided by natural immunity.

GMU issued a press release signed by President Gregory Washington the following afternoon. It promised that "disciplinary action will be pursued," including paid leave and termination, against employees who fail to get an exemption and subsequently hide their vaccination status or refuse the vaccine.

NCLA claimed the university scrubbed the "incendiary" promise to discipline noncompliant employees from its own website less than an hour after the release went out Thursday. The new version also linked to a video from President Gregory Washington that does not mention disciplinary action.

When Just the News visited the page for the first time Friday morning, however, the disciplinary language remained. Within two hours of contacting GMU for comment, the language had disappeared. The original is preserved in an archived version from Thursday.

Zywicki told Just the News Friday that GMU has yet to respond to his Wednesday letter, which requested a response before July 28 at the latest.

He speculated in a phone interview that President Washington's Thursday statement was a "show of force" that GMU quickly regretted.

"Maybe," he added, "he accidentally said what he meant."

Faculty in the law and economics departments have shared similar concerns about the policy, specifically its "threatening language and the bullying approach," Zywicki said.

He marveled that the university has more confidence in "the crappy Sinovaccine from China," with 51% efficacy in one study, than natural immunity. "Some university bureaucrat thinks they know better than my doctor ... that's a precedent that no American should be willing to go along with."

GMU did not respond to a request to provide a medical basis for elevating any WHO-approved vaccine over natural immunity and pressuring COVID-recovered faculty to take vaccines that could harm them.

The university may be confident in its legal chances, given that a federal judge recently refused to block Indiana University's COVID vaccine mandate, which has similar punitive measures for unvaccinated community members. One of the plaintiffs in that lawsuit also cited her doctor's warning not to get a COVID vaccine based on her medical history.

Natural immunity valid for Va. schoolchildren
The finalized campus policy requires unvaccinated employees to continue wearing masks, physically distancing and undergoing frequent testing for the novel coronavirus, regardless of prior infection and recovery.

Zywicki told Just the News he doesn't expect a final policy to be confirmed before the FDA gives full approval to at least one of the vaccines issued under emergency use authorization (EUA).

Not only would mandating an EUA vaccine be illegal, but it's never been done even for vaccines that treat "truly horrible, deadly diseases" such as polio, he said. "It's clear that what they want to do is stigmatize and shame us," which flouts the spirit of true exemptions.

The letter distinguishes GMU's regime from Virginia's rules for vaccination of schoolchildren for measles, mumps, rubella, and chickenpox. The latter explicitly exempt children "who can demonstrate existing immunity through serological testing that measures protective antibodies."

GMU's new rules "diminish Professor Zywicki's efficacy in performing his professional responsibilities," making it harder to communicate in the classroom, hold office hours or attend academic events, and stigmatizing him to students.

Because these restrictions threaten everything from his teaching evaluations to opportunities for academic collaboration, the purportedly optional vaccine policy for employees is actually an "ineluctable mandate," the letter says.



The law professor has an "unbroken string" of COVID antibody tests from last summer through this winter, which Zywicki requested to "reassure students of his immunity status" when he volunteered to teach in person last fall.

"They are preying on my sense of dedication, which I showed last year to do the right thing for my students," he told Just the News.

Zywicki also had a shingles infection this spring that paralyzed his face for two weeks. His immunologist, former University of Pennsylvania and Harvard Med professor Hooman Noorchashm, warned that the shingles virus "can be reactivated" by COVID vaccination.

Even as it accepts any WHO-approved vaccine, GMU is out of step with the European Union, which is now recognizing a "record of previous infection" in lieu of vaccination, Noorchashm wrote in his declaration.

Stanford and Harvard Med professors Jay Bhattacharya and Martin Kulldorff analyzed GMU's employee policy at NCLA's request.

"There is no reason to presume that vaccine immunity provides a higher level of protection than natural immunity," they wrote in a joint declaration. "Since vaccines arrived one year after the disease, there is stronger evidence for long lasting immunity from natural infection than from the vaccines."

They cited multiple peer-reviewed studies of natural immunity versus immunity from the Pfizer and Moderna mRNA vaccines, whose reported effectiveness is far higher than other WHO-approved vaccines.

These studies "overwhelmingly conclude" that natural immunity provides equivalent or greater protection against "severe infection" than even the highest-rated vaccines, Bhattacharya and Kulldorff wrote.

Vaccinated individuals comprise the majority of new coronavirus infections in Singapore, according to government data.

According to Reuters, vaccinated people made up three-quarters of the country’s coronavirus infections in the last month, although severe cases among the vaccinated have been limited:

Of Singapore’s 1,096 locally transmitted infections in the last 28 days, 484, or about 44%, were in fully vaccinated people, while 30% were partially vaccinated and just over 25% were unvaccinated, Thursday’s data showed.

“There is continuing evidence that vaccination helps to prevent serious disease when one gets infected,” the health ministry said in a statement, noting fully vaccinated people generally exhibit mild symptoms or none at all.

Singapore boasts a high vaccination rate, as 75 percent of the 5.7 million in the country have received the jab.

The Singapore Ministry of Health announced in early July that it would only count recipients of the American made Pfizer or Moderna mRNA vaccines as vaccinated for the purposes of national statistics. Vaccinated individuals who have contracted the coronavirus are presumably recipients of one of the American products. Individuals who received other options such as Russia’s Sputnik V vaccine or one of several Chinese products officially count as unvaccinated.

The news comes as the Biden White House urges Americans to get vaccinated as the delta variant spreads across the U.S. Notably, White House press secretary Jen Psaki cited findings revealing that vaccinated people are more concerned about the variant’s spread than the unvaccinated.

“I believe it was a CBS poll — that showed that vaccinated people in the country are more fearful about the Delta variant than unvaccinated people,” she said.
“That’s clearly concerning to us because unvaccinated people should be more fearful. And what the President wanted to convey to people in the country is the impact and effect of getting vaccinated,” she added.

Meanwhile, Texas state Rep. Donna Howard (D), one of the fully vaccinated Texas state lawmakers who tested for the coronavirus after fleeing to Washington, D.C., alongside her maskless colleagues to prevent House Republicans from pursuing election integrity measures, is now among those calling for a universal mask mandate.

VAERS data released today by the CDC showed a total of 491,218 reports of adverse events from all age groups following COVID vaccines, including 11,405 deaths and 48,385 serious injuries between Dec. 14, 2020 and July 16, 2021.

Data released today by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) included a total of almost 500,000 reports of injuries and deaths, across all age groups, following COVID vaccines — an increase of 27,761 compared with the previous week.

The data comes directly from reports submitted to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS), the primary government-funded system for reporting adverse vaccine reactions in the U.S.

Every Friday, VAERS makes public all vaccine injury reports received as of a specified date, usually about a week prior to the release date. Reports submitted to VAERS require further investigation before a causal relationship can be confirmed.

Data released today show that between Dec. 14, 2020 and July 16, 2021, a total of 491,218 total adverse events were reported to VAERS, including 11,405 deaths — an increase of 414 over the previous week. There were 48,385 serious injuries reported during the same time period — up 7,767 compared with the previous week.


CDC ‘corrects’ number of reported deaths after COVID vaccines by dumping foreign reports

As The Defender reported July 22, a sudden increase in the number of deaths reported to VAERS following COVID vaccination is not correct and was the result of an “error,” according to the CDC.

The CDC said July 16 that since the mid-December rollout of COVID vaccines in the U.S., VAERS had received 12,313 reports of death among people who received a COVID vaccine — a sharp increase from the 6,079 U.S. deaths reported by the CDC the previous week.

Over the past few weeks, The Defender noticed thousands of “foreign reports” entered into VAERS, mostly associated with the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine.

According to the CDC website, when searching VAERS, the “United States, Territories and Unknown” group includes all of the location values, except for “Foreign” locations.

The “Foreign” group includes reports from any location other than U.S. states/territories included in the drop-down list. The “Unknown” group includes reports where a U.S. state is not identified.

We reached out to the CDC to ask why there were thousands of reports suddenly dumped into VAERS, why the CDC doesn’t publicize the total number of reported deaths — which includes foreign reports — and why there are foreign entities using the U.S. VAERS system. We did not hear back by the set deadline.

The CDC website states:

“VAERS occasionally receives case reports from U.S. manufacturers that were reported to their foreign subsidiaries. Under FDA regulations, if a manufacturer is notified of a foreign case report that describes an event that is both serious and unexpected (in other words, it does not appear in the product labeling), they are required to submit it to VAERS.”

The Defender will continue to post the latest VAERS numbers weekly, but will differentiate between foreign reports and U.S. reports.

CDC advisory group urges vaccine booster for immune-compromised
On June 22, the CDC’s advisory panel — the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) — urged federal regulators to move quickly in determining whether people with weakened immune systems should receive a booster dose of COVID vaccine, NBC News reported.

The CDC appears to be looking into ways to work around the Emergency Use Authorizations (EUA), to provide additional vaccines for immunocompromised patients.

Doctors say it is increasingly clear many people with compromised immune systems fail to mount an effective immune response against COVID following vaccination.

Studies examining safety and effectiveness of a booster dose in vulnerable populations are ongoing, and it is unknown whether the low levels of immunity to the vaccine in immune-compromised people can be addressed with an additional dose.

Dr. Sara Oliver, a medical epidemiologist at the CDC, pointed to emerging data that found among immunocompromised patients who had no detectable antibody response after full vaccination, only 33% to 50% developed antibodies to a third dose.

There are no plans for the ACIP to hold another meeting, although the panel is currently scheduled to meet in August.

Federal lawsuit seeks halt of COVID vaccines, citing whistleblower testimony

America’s Frontline Doctors (AFLDS) on July 19 filed a motion seeking immediate injunctive relief in Alabama Federal District Court to stop the use of EUA COVID vaccines — Pfizer/BioNTech, Moderna and J&J — for three groups of Americans.

As The Defender reported July 20, according to a press release, AFLDS is asking to immediately stop administration of experimental COVID vaccines in anyone 18 and younger, all those who have recovered from COVID and acquired natural immunity, and every other American who has not received informed consent as defined by federal law.

The authors of the 67-page motion attached a declaration by a whistleblower who alleged deaths occurring within 72 hours of receiving a COVID vaccine are significantly under-reported in VAERS, by a conservative factor of at least five. In a sworn statement under penalty of perjury the whistleblower alleged the actual number of COVID vaccine-related deaths is closer to 45,000.

AFLDS said the findings were shocking, and informed consent is impossible when safety data are not accurate.

COVID breakthrough cases continue to rise
Reports of COVID breakthrough cases continue to rise. As The Defender reported this week, as of July 12, the CDC had reported 5,492 breakthrough cases resulting in death and hospitalization.

According to data updated July 14 by the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH), 151 people in Illinois have died from COVID or COVID-related complications after being fully vaccinated. At least 563 fully vaccinated people were hospitalized, IDPH said.

In Massachusetts, public health officials tracked 4,450 breakthrough cases. About 92% of those cases did not result in hospitalization, while 303 people, or 6.8%, were hospitalized, according to Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH) data through July 10.

Seventy-nine vaccinated residents in Massachusetts died from COVID, either without being hospitalized or following a hospital stay, DPH said.

Despite being fully vaccinated, more than 656 Alaskans tested positive for COVID between February and June, according to the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services.

Of the 656 breakthrough cases, 17 people were hospitalized and two people died with COVID, though health officials noted both had other “substantial comorbidities.”

137 days and counting, CDC ignores The Defender’s inquiries
According to the CDC website, “the CDC follows up on any report of death to request additional information and learn more about what occurred and to determine whether the death was a result of the vaccine or unrelated.”

On March 8, The Defender contacted the CDC with a written list of questions about reported deaths and injuries related to COVID vaccines. We have made repeated attempts, by phone and email, to obtain a response to our questions.

Despite multiple phone and email communications with several people at the CDC, and despite being told that our request was in the system and that someone would respond, we have not yet received answers to any of the questions we submitted. It has been 137 days since we sent our first email to the CDC requesting information.

I agree. Florida had over 73,000 new cases this week. DeSantis in one of those videos passed it off as just a summer pick up in cases like we had last year. uhhmmm.. NO. Last year, no one in FL was vaxxed. Now more than half are. We shouldn't be seeing numbers like this if the vaxx works as promised. The only thing this summer has in common with the uptick last summer is the mask mandates were lifted both times right before the cases took off. Just saying and not arguing. Everyone's mmv.

From Israel: More covid patients in the hospital were vaccinated than not vaccinated, but the unvaccinated were 3 times more likely to need ventilators. However, the vaccinated were 3 times more likely to die. The conclusion MAY be that the vaxxed were less likely to get really sick, but if they did get really sick, they were more likely to die from it. But this is really a very small sample, not sure what you can read into it.

Some 143 Israelis were hospitalized with COVID-19 as of Wednesday at 12 p.m., according to the Health Ministry. Fifty-eight percent of them were vaccinated, 39% were not and 3% were partially vaccinated, meaning they had taken one dose or a full week had not passed since their second shot.

Only one patient was a child. Five were pregnant women or women who recently gave birth.

Of the country’s 64 serious patients, including 17 in critical condition, there were 12 who were being invasively ventilated. However, while the percentage of vaccinated cases was high, the percentage of those who require invasive treatment was low: Only three fully vaccinated people were being invasively ventilated.

Also, only two people were connected to an ECMO external oxygenation machine, and neither of them were vaccinated.

Although the number of serious patients is on the rise – with 154 new ones this month compared to only 31 new ones in May and 17 in June – there were 972 new serious cases last July.

Some 18,469 Israelis have been listed in serious or critical condition since the start of the pandemic.

Thirty of the 143 hospitalized patients were in moderate condition, and 49 in mild condition.

Where are they hospitalized?

According to the ministry, there are 42 patients in one of the four hospitals in central Israel besides Tel Aviv. Some 37 people are being treated in Tel Aviv, 25 in Haifa, 15 in southern Israel, 15 in northern Israel and another nine in Jerusalem.

Meir Medical Center in Kfar Saba has the highest number of patients with 14, and also the highest number of serious cases – along with Beersheba’s Soroka Medical Center – with seven. Hillel Yaffe Medical Center in Hadera followed closely behind with six.

No other hospital had any serious patients in the double digits; the highest number of patients at any other facility was nine.

How many people have died?

Since the start of the coronavirus crisis, 6,452 Israelis have died of the disease. The deadliest month was January 2021, when 1,445 Israelis died.

So far this month, 20 people have died of the virus, compared to nine people last month and 237 in July 2020.

Fifteen of the 20 people who died this month were fully vaccinated.

Last Thursday White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki casually admitted the federal government is censoring American citizens and flagging “problematic” social media posts.

On Friday Psaki took it to another level and said Americans who post “misinformation” should be completely un-personed and should have no access to online platforms.

Then also on Friday Surgeon General Vivek Murthy stood in front of his liberal peers in the White House press room and labeled free speech a severe national “health risk.”

The Surgeon General is killing free speech.

Of course, the ‘disinformation” is selected by the regime and can be altered or updated at any time.

And they know they can because the demons in the old media and big tech are on their side.

Australia’s New South Wales state on Friday reported its biggest daily rise in new Covid-19 cases this year, prompting state officials to tighten lockdown measures in Sydney in what they called a “national emergency.”

State Premier Gladys Berejiklian also flagged the likelihood that stay-home orders for the country’s biggest city would be extended beyond the current end date of July 30.

Roughly 300 people stormed the Chambéry Town Hall in France in protest of vaccine passports.

The demonstrators tore down the official portrait of French President Emmanuel Macron.

“The protesters then took down the official portrait of President Emmanuel Macron, a symbolic gesture that was also seen in late 2019 when climate activists stole the presidential portraits from some 130 town halls across France,” Breitbart News reports.

The protesters were only in the building for 10-15 minutes, according to reports.

“The city of Chambéry condemns with the utmost firmness this intrusion,” the mayor’s office said in a statement, and added that it was not “tolerable to attack republican symbols and the symbolic place that is a city hall.”

The protest was the third one to take place in the city this week.

Last weekend, over 100,000 people protested the passport policy, which will be required for people to enter certain businesses such as restaurants or engage in various forms of travel.

Pfizer and BioNTech’s Covid-19 vaccine is just 39% effective in Israel where the delta variant is the dominant strain, but still provides strong protection against severe illness and hospitalization, according to a new report from the country’s Health Ministry.
The efficacy figure, which is based on an unspecified number of people between June 20 and July 17, is down from an earlier estimate of 64% two weeks ago and conflicts with data out of the U.K. that found the shot was 88% effective against symptomatic disease caused by the variant.
However, the two-dose vaccine still works very well in preventing people from getting seriously sick, demonstrating 88% effectiveness against hospitalization and 91% effectiveness against severe illness, according to the Israeli data published Thursday.

“We have to be mindful that, with time, the effectiveness of these vaccines may wane,” said Dr. Isaac Bogoch, an infectious disease professor at the University of Toronto.
He stressed that the shots are still highly effective in preventing severe infection, helping hospital systems not get too overwhelmed heading into the colder months. That being said, “we’re still in the Covid era and anything can happen,” he said.

“We have to be prepared and we have to be nimble that people may need a booster at some point,” he added. “This close surveillance that’s happening in countries like Israel, the U.K. and other parts of the world is going to be very helpful in driving policy if and when we do need boosters.”
The delta variant, already in more than 104 countries, is concerning health officials in the U.S. as they see more breakthrough infections, which occur in fully vaccinated people, even though they are more mild.

White House chief medical officer Dr. Anthony Fauci said fully vaccinated people might want to consider wearing masks indoors as a precaution against the rapidly spreading variant in the U.S.
Health experts are concerned about the fall season, when delta is expected to hit states with the lowest vaccination rates the hardest — unless those states and businesses reintroduce mask rules, capacity limits and other public health measures that they’ve largely rolled back.

“That’s something we obviously don’t want to see,” Fauci said Wednesday, noting the so-called breakthrough infections. “This virus is clearly different than the viruses and the variants that we’ve had experience with before. It has an extraordinary capability of transmitting from person to person.”
Dr. Paul Offit, who advises the FDA on Covid vaccines, said while the vaccines still provide excellent protection against severe disease and death, they may not work as well against mild cases or spreading the disease to others.
He urged more Americans to get vaccinated, saying delta is a highly contagious virus and the shots will help people from getting seriously sick. Currently, less than half of the U.S. population is fully vaccinated, according to data compiled by the CDC.

“That is a rich and fertile ground for the virus to continue to reproduce itself and continue to create variants that possibly become more and more resistant to vaccines or natural infection,” he said.
WHO officials said Monday that the longer that people around the world remain unvaccinated and social mixing continues, the higher the risk of a more dangerous variant to emerge.
The report out of Israel, which began vaccinating its population ahead of many other countries, is likely to bolster arguments from drugmakers that people will eventually need to get booster shots to protect against emerging variants.
Pfizer said earlier this month it is starting to see waning immunity from its two-dose vaccine, and now plans to seek authorization from the Food and Drug Administration for a booster dose. However, federal officials say fully vaccinated Americans do not need additional shots at this time.

In a statement to CNBC, Pfizer said it remains confident its two-dose regimen is protective against the coronavirus and its variants.
Still, it said a third dose may be helpful after analysis from its phase three study showed a decline in efficacy against symptomatic infection after four to six months.
“Initial data of a third dose of the current vaccine demonstrates that a booster dose given at least 6 months after the second dose elicits high neutralization titers against the wild type and the Beta, which are 5 to 10 times higher than after two primary doses,” the company said.

Is COVID 19 Vaccine Effective Against DELTA VARIANT?

COVID 19 Vaccine breakthrough cases are popping up in the news. Is the delta variant responsible for breakthrough infections? Do the vaccines still work?

COVID 19 cases, hospitalizations, and deaths are on the rise again. Right now, there are 162 million Americans who are fully vaccinated. According to the CDC, less than two percent of people hospitalized with COVID 19 are vaccinated. And get this - 99.5% of people who die of COVID 19 did not get the vaccine.

A COVID 19 breakthrough infection is defined as someone who tests positive for COVID 19, with a PCR test, at least 14 days after being fully vaccinated. Several reports of breakthrough infections have been reported at the White House, Congress, Olympics, Major League Baseball, and more. I’ve seen people with breakthrough infections in the ICU, but not nearly as much as COVID 19 patients in the ICU who did not get the vaccine.

Stanford is among nearly 600 universities and colleges nationwide that have required students and faculty to be vaccinated against COVID 19 before coming back to campus this fall. Stanford 7 Vaccinated Students Get Symptomatic COVID 19 in a week span.

Even before the delta variant showed up, we knew that the vaccines aren’t 100% effective. Based on the original studies, we knew that the mRNA vaccines with Pfizer and Moderna were about 95% effective at preventing severe COVID 19 illness.This means that percentage is even smaller when you’re talking about preventing mild or asymptomatic infections. But the important thing you want to know is how effective the vaccine is at preventing severe COVID 19 illness.

But that 95% effectiveness was based on the original strain of COVID 19. Now, the scarier and more contagious Delta variant makes just about all the COVID 19 cases in the US.

According to this recent study, when people are infected with Delta, they have about 1000 times more viruses than previous versions of the virus. So all that viral load has the potential to overwhelm the immune system of vaccinated people. Another study that was just published in the NEJM also showed that the delta variant is slightly more likely to cause breakthrough infections:

Researchers found that after two doses of the Pfizer vaccine, it gave 88% protection against symptomatic disease caused by the delta variant, and that’s compared to 93% against the alpha variant that was first discovered in the UK.

Both doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine offered 67% protection against symptomatic disease. We’re still waiting on published numbers for the Moderna vaccine, but according to the company, its vaccine remained effective against the different variants.

The Johnson & Johnson vaccine might be less effective against the Delta and Lambda variants, but that study is yet to be published. It might be that those who received the J&J vaccine may need to get Pfizer or Moderna to protect against the new variants. So stay tuned on that.

We know that those vaccinated have milder Covid 19 illness compared to unvaccinated if they become infected if they do become infected. This is based on another study published in the NEJM that looked at more than 3,900 essential workers. It shows that fully vaccinated people are more than 90% protected against infection. Even partially vaccinated people are 81% less likely to become infected than people who haven't had been inoculated.

Vaccinated people appear to be less likely to spread the virus to others. Those who got "breakthrough" infections after one or two doses of vaccine had 40% less virus in their bodies and were 58% less likely to have fever. They spent two fewer days in bed compared to unvaccinated Covid 19 patients.

Then there is the question, if you’re asymptomatic and have been vaccinated, can you still spread the virus to others? We know the vaccine reduces the likelihood of carrying the virus. And if you are carrying the virus, we know that there would otherwise be a reduced viral load. So overall, its less likely that you are transmitting the virus if you’re asymptomatic and you’ve been vaccinated. This is why the CDC says that fully vaccinated people still need to be tested if they have symptoms and shouldn't be out in public for at least 10 days after a positive test. This is actually being studied right now in 12,000 college students who received the Moderna vaccine.

And what about those of you who are vaccinated, and you are concerned about getting a breakthrough infection? If you were to get COVID 19, it's way more likely to be a milder course of the disease if you are exposed to many people, especially if they’re not vaccinated; you can wear a mask. The kind of mask to wear is another topic, but even a regular face covering would still be better at decreasing transmission compared to no mask at all.

That headline might be a little provocative, but it’s true. Not that Joe Biden is roaming the streets infecting people with COVID 19, but his policies on everything from messaging to the southern border are his direct responsibility and they’re hurting and killing Americans.

When it comes to messaging, this White House has taken the approach Democrats in Congress have employed for years, and one at which the administration of Barack Obama excelled – being a complete jackass. That’s about as polite as I can put it, and not the word I would use were it up to me. I would choose the nickname for Richard, but only because it’s accurate.

So, how is the President of the United States responsible for the deaths of Americans during a pandemic?
First is the messaging on vaccines. I don’t know where you stand I vaccines, nor do I care. I’m not responsible for you, and I’m not about to tell other adults how to live their lives because I’m not about to let someone else tell me how to live mine. But the argument coming from the White House is one telling people, “Either you get the shot or you’re (insert your favorite obscenity here) who is responsible for killing everyone.” Ok, maybe they’re not quite that melodramatic, by it’s pretty close.
People who haven’t been vaccinated are the current incarnation of Hitler, now that Donald Trump has left the national stage, according to liberals. That’s the extent of their argument on the subject – you’re a moron, just obey. Sorry, but there are people in this country, and thank God there are, who will not obey government simply because they’re told to. Sadly, there are a lot who will, but just as many who won’t.

People have questions, legitimate questions, and the people theoretically charged with answering those questions are spending their time in a left-wing echo chamber calling those people idiots. Tony Fauci isn’t making an argument, he’s badgering people to conform. People aren’t about to allow their bodies to be injected with experimental fluids without, at a minimum, their questions being addressed. There isn’t a liberal interested in doing that.

The White House should send out Fauci, Rochelle Walensky (head of the CDC), and a couple of others to do a 2-hour long town hall, probably on Fox, with a couple of harmless anchors (not confrontational prime time hosts) and a room full of vaccine refusers and have a conversation with them. Yelling, “Do what I tell you to do!” will not move the needle, or move needles. I have questions myself, I see no one answering them. It would be nice to.
That being said, it’s rather difficult to take anyone in this government seriously on the subject of COVID when they’ve swung open the southern border with zero concern for the pandemic.

No worry about the virus, they’re just herded into pens, breathing everyone else’s air, are offered a vaccine (which at least a third refuse), and then are released into the country with only a pinky-swear that they’ll show up in court in a few years (which they do not).


How many Americans have been infected and died because an illegal alien gave them COVID? How did the “delta variant” get into the country? Probably not a direct flight from India, it most likely marched across the Rio Grande and was eagerly greeted by the Biden administration with 3 hot meals a day and plane ticket to wherever it wanted to go.
You don’t get to lecture the American public about “acting recklessly” by not being vaccinated while remaining silent on the world’s dumbest game of Red Rover the Biden administration is playing on the Mexican border.

No, the blood of anyone who dies after being infected by an illegal alien is squarely on the hands of Joe Biden. His refusal to protect Americans because he wants to play the Democrat game of identity politics will never be washed off; its borderline treason. With that in mind, maybe the headline isn’t provocative, maybe it’s too soft?

Former Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel Says We Must Create ‘Reward-Punishment’ System for Vaccines

While appearing on on ABC’s “This Week,” former Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel said that there needs to be a “reward-punishment system” to force people to get vaccinated.

Emanuel said that people should not be able to participate in activities within society unless they take the rushed out jabs.

“There’s a lot of things we can do without calling it a mandate. Just make it almost impossible for people to live their lives without being protected and protect us,” panelist Margaret Hoover said.

“I agree. I’m the son of a pediatrician…The fact is no child can show up at school without showing their immunizations, smallpox and measles. You have to make this familiar to people. Second is, I would close the space. If you want to participate in activities, you have to show you are vaccinated. So it becomes a reward-punishment system. You make your own calculation. The fact is there’s data this week that 30% of health care workers are not vaccinated,” Emanuel responded. “They have got to lead by example.”

He added, “My own recommendation is the religious community ecumenically, across the board needs to speak up and encourage people. So you hit all populations with a singular message. I do give credit to the White House, whether it’s Fox TV or Republican leaders, getting a chorus of voices, across the spectrum, not just political, religious et cetera, with a singular message and lead by example.”

NSW News – 9News – reported this weekend on the new COVID hospitalizations in Sydney, Australia.

Almost a million people can’t leave their homes because one man died in his 80s.
Sydney authorities announced the new lockdowns last week.

This is insanity.



In a video update by NSW-9 News the medical official announced that there were 141 people in hospitals with COVID and 43 are intentsive care including several young Australians.

All but one are vaccinated.

Merkel’s Chief of Staff: ‘Vaccinated Will Definitely Have More Freedoms than Unvaccinated’

BERLIN (AP) – German politicians were deeply divided Sunday over a warning by Chancellor Angela Merkel’s chief of staff that restrictions for unvaccinated people may be necessary if COVID-19 infection numbers reach new heights in the coming months.

Chief of staff Helge Braun told the newspaper Bild am Sonntag that he doesn’t expect another coronavirus-related lockdown in Germany. But Braun said that unvaccinated people may be barred from entering venues like restaurants, movie theatres or sports stadiums “because the residual risk is too high.”

Braun said getting vaccinated is important to protect against severe disease and because “vaccinated people will definitely have more freedoms than unvaccinated people.” He said such policies would be legal because “the state has the responsibility to protect the health of its citizens.”

His comments fueled a debate in German politics about potential vaccination requirements. The issue has proven divisive, even within Merkel’s own Christian Democrats party. Its candidate to replace Merkel as Germany’s leader, Armin Laschet, said he opposes any formal or informal vaccine requirements for the time being.

“I don’t believe in compulsory vaccinations and I don’t believe we should put indirect pressure on people to get vaccinated,” he told the German broadcaster ZDF on Sunday. “In a free country there are rights to freedom, not just for specific groups.”

If Germany’s vaccination rates remain too low this fall, other options could be considered, Laschet said, adding “but not now.”



With the highly transmissible delta variant spreading in Germany, politicians have debated the possibility of compulsory vaccinations for specific professions, including medical workers. No such requirements have been implemented yet.
Germany’s vaccine efforts have slowed in recent weeks and that has led to discussions about how to encourage those who haven’t yet received a vaccine to do so. More than 60% of the German population has received at least one dose while over 49 per cent are fully vaccinated.

During a recent visit to the Robert Koch Institute, the government-run disease control agency, Merkel ruled out new vaccine requirements “at the moment,” but added, “I’m not ruling out that this might be talked about differently in a few months either.”

Other elected officials have struck a similar tone. Baden-Württemberg governor Winfried Kretschmann, a member of the Greens, noted Sunday that the delta variant and others that may emerge could make vaccine requirements more attractive down the line.

While there are no current plans to require people to get vaccinated, he told the German news agency dpa that “I can’t rule out compulsory vaccinations for all time.”

Karl Lauterbach, a health expert from the centre-left Social Democrats, spoke in favour of possible restrictions. He told the Süddeutsche Zeitung that soon one of the only remaining options to fight new variants will be “to restrict access to spaces where many people come together” to those who have either been vaccinated or recovered from the virus.

Others immediately pushed back against Braun’s comments on Sunday. Some expressed scepticism about the effectiveness of such restrictions, while others warned against having rights based on one’s vaccination status.

“Of course, we need incentives to reach the highest possible vaccination rate,” Marco Buschmann, parliamentary group leader for the pro-business Free Democrats, told the RedaktionsNetzwerk Deutschland newspaper group.

Still, he said, if unvaccinated people who have been tested or recovered from the virus pose no greater danger than vaccinated people, to impose such restrictions on the unvaccinated “would be a violation of their basic rights.”

Rolf Mützenich, head of the Social Democrats’ parliamentary group, said politicians should be focusing more on getting willing citizens vaccinated than penalizing the unvaccinated.

“We’re not going to sustainably change the vaccination behaviour of individuals with threats,” he told RedaktionsNetzwerk Deutschland.

Why Is The CDC Quietly Abandoning The PCR Test For COVID?

We have detailed (most recently here and here) the controversy surrounding America's COVID "casedemic" and the misleading results of the PCR test and its amplification procedure in great detail over the past few months.


As a reminder, "cycle thresholds" (Ct) are the level at which widely used polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test can detect a sample of the COVID-19 virus. The higher the number of cycles, the lower the amount of viral load in the sample; the lower the cycles, the more prevalent the virus was in the original sample.



Numerous epidemiological experts have argued that cycle thresholds are an important metric by which patients, the public, and policymakers can make more informed decisions about how infectious and/or sick an individual with a positive COVID-19 test might be. However, as JustTheNews reports, health departments across the country are failing to collect that data.

Here are a few headlines from those experts and scientific studies:

1. Experts compiled three datasets with officials from the states of Massachusetts, New York and Nevada that conclude:“Up to 90% of the people who tested positive did not carry a virus."

The Wadworth Center, a New York State laboratory, analyzed the results of its July tests at the request of the NYT: 794 positive tests with a Ct of 40: “With a Ct threshold of 35, approximately half of these PCR tests would no longer be considered positive,” said the NYT. “And about 70% would no longer be considered positive with a Ct of 30! “

3. An appeals court in Portugal has ruled that the PCR process is not a reliable test for Sars-Cov-2, and therefore any enforced quarantine based on those test results is unlawful.

4. A new study from the Infectious Diseases Society of America, found that at 25 cycles of amplification, 70% of PCR test "positives" are not "cases" since the virus cannot be cultured, it's dead. And by 35: 97% of the positives are non-clinical.

5. PCR is not testing for disease, it's testing for a specific RNA pattern and this is the key pivot. When you crank it up to 25, 70% of the positive results are not really "positives" in any clinical sense, since it cannot make you or anyone else sick

So, in summary, with regard to our current "casedemic", positive tests as they are counted today do not indicate a “case” of anything. They indicate that viral RNA was found in a nasal swab. It may be enough to make you sick, but according to the New York Times and their experts, probably won’t. And certainly not sufficient replication of the virus to make anyone else sick. But you will be sent home for ten days anyway, even if you never have a sniffle. And this is the number the media breathlessly reports... and is used to fearmonger mask mandates and lockdowns nationwide...


In October we first exposed how PCR Tests have misled officials worldwide into insanely authoritative reactions.

As PJMedia's Stacey Lennox wrote, the “casedemic" is the elevated number of cases we see nationwide because of a flaw in the PCR test. The number of times the sample is amplified, also called the cycle threshold (Ct), is too high.

The New York Times reported this flaw on August 29 and said that in the samples they reviewed from three states where labs use a Ct of 37-40, up to 90% of tests are essentially false positives. The experts in that article said a Ct of around 30 would be more appropriate for indicating that someone could be contagious - those for whom contact tracing would make sense.

Just a few days earlier, the CDC had updated its guidelines to discourage testing for asymptomatic individuals. It can only be assumed that the rationale for this was that some honest bureaucrat figured out the testing was needlessly sensitive. He or she has probably been demoted.

This change was preceded by a July update that discouraged retesting for recovered patients. The rationale for the update was that viral debris could be detected using the PCR test for 90 days after recovery.

The same would be true for some period of time if an individual had an effective immune response and never got sick. Existing immunity from exposure to other coronaviruses has been well documented. These are many of your “asymptomatic” cases.

However, due to political pressure and corporate media tantrums, the new guidance on testing was scrapped, and testing for asymptomatic individuals is now recommended again. Doctors do not receive the Ct information from the labs to make a diagnostic judgment.

A month later, Dr. Pascal Sacré, explained in great detail how all current propaganda on the COVID-19 pandemic is based on an assumption that is considered obvious, true and no longer questioned: Positive RT-PCR test means being sick with COVID.

This assumption is misleading. Very few people, including doctors, understand how a PCR test works.


In mid-November, none other than he who should not be questioned - Dr. Anthony Fauci - admitted that the PCR Test's high Ct is misleading:

“What is now sort of evolving into a bit of a standard,” Fauci said, is that “if you get a cycle threshold of 35 or more … the chances of it being replication-confident are minuscule.”

In response to this and the actual "science", Florida's Department of Health (and signed off on by Florida's Republican Governor Ron deSantis), decided that for the first time in the history of the pandemic, a state will require that all labs in the state report the critical “cycle threshold” level of every COVID-19 test they perform.

The question one is forced to ask is simple - as with everything else that happens in the Healthcare-Industrial-Complex - cui bono?

Is another provider of testing about to be enrichened?

Or is it even more sinister than standard crony capitalism?
