The Brits?yup, within 35 miles- there's a map with the latest war zone article that may better answer distance and locations questions.
..this lil dust up is between Russia and a british vessel, and is apparently a pretty serious escalation and suggests Brits were serious about their new, more assertive defense posture
optimist. One of these days, and it won't be long, we are going to wake up in the middle of WWIII.
We are in a race between obama et al murdering all "white racists and Trump supporters" they can find, or obama et al triggering Putin and Xi the Merciless to start World War Three that kills all the "white racists and Trump supporters" Obama and hellery didn't murder.
No, it wouldn't.they are certainly spewing the propaganda loud enough.
and there are certainly plenty of people eat up the "evil Russian" mantra.
We are having military exercises in the Black Sea.
It would be like the Russians having military exercises on the Canadian side of Lake Superior.
No, it wouldn't.
Black sea is not a Russian lake.
Lake Superior is not a US lake. No, it wouldn't.
Black sea is not a Russian lake.
Well of course. Ukraine wants Crimea back of course they want a war.
Update: Once again Russia urges US and allies to abandon military operations in Black Sea.
Yep we are headed for big troubleWhich we are co-hosting with Ukraine. Yeah... that doesn’t send a message now, does it?
Putin himself isn't getting any younger. Might as well smash that mushy collapsed Jack 'O Prez while the US is still chasing rainbows. Perfidious Albion and us vs. Mother Russia. I'm not Slav, I'm Celtic, but since the West has trashed it's demographics (and the Constitution, and gone insane), I'm not feeling so much love for the local team. Now, if Putin does something really shitty/sadistic to us, I retain the right to change my mind. Whatever, it is gonna suck.I guess Russia isn’t backing down from Ukrainian and Crimea issues.
Yeah well... this isn’t squat. The world was a much more dangerous place during the Cold War. No one person will ever know all the crap that happened between us and the soviets; ships rammed, submarines ramming ships, one of our boats having a soviet practice weapon stuck in her sail, depth charges, the list is endless. And there’s no telling what happened on land.Yep we keep poking the bear and we are going to get bit .We have no business there View attachment 273131
There aren't 32 countries with borders on the Black Sea.

The brits are pansies and floofers, particularly the Brit navy. They knew they were in the wrong, they knew they were in territorial waters, and they knew they were going to get some form of response from the Russians.Looks like a classic USS Turner Joy/Gulf of Tonkin incident. Shelling around the Brit vessel is interesting-the SU-24 dropping bombs?? That's a bit over the top response wise.
The Brits are tweaking the Russian's noses-again. When Russia responds for real, the Brits will immediately invoke article 5 and guess what. WW3 has arrived.
no one got wet so they did not loseThe brits are pansies and floofers, particularly the Brit navy. They knew they were in the wrong, they knew they were in territorial waters, and they knew they were going to get some form of response from the Russians.
They did it for intel gathering, nothing more. To see who turns on what radar systems and analyze, see what flights are thrown up with tracking radars turned on and we analyze. ECM operators, or whatever the Brit equivalent is, were going nuts analyzing and recording radar and radio information; frequencies, band-widths, pulse durations and types, wave-forms, signal strengths... all of it.
We did it in the Cold War. We went into Soviet territorial waters all the time. They did it to us all the time. It was a very dangerous cat-and-mouse game and the soviets played extremely hard ball. They didn’t give one rip about collateral damage to us or themselves. They were wanting nothing more that to prove a point and that was we were the aggressors.
The Brits played a game and they lost. With all the gee-whiz navigational shit they’ve got on board they knew exactly where they were within several meters. Hell, all we had underway and submerged was dedreckoning, that and an occasional periscope bearing sweep when the occasion presented itself, and we knew exactly where we were. Thankfully, they didn’t most of the time.
I thought the same thing except Lagavulin.I’ll take Dalmor or Connemara, neet, in a proper glass and a side of very cold, distilled water.
Oh, BTW.... what’s this old shit?
