Is War Inevitable?
April 22, 2020
It is a simple question with a very complex answer.
Seems a fair question right now what with all that is going on in the world. I ask this specifically because of the price of oil.
I put together some resources if anyone wants to explore this theme.
Oil games are being played, sides are being chosen, supposedly by picking expected winners or a strategic alliance that benefits a countries energy strategy. Countries run on energy, mainly oil. Economies depending on it. If energy can be withheld as in an embargo, then the countries most dependent on it that don't get it suffer.
Another strategy is to tank the price of oil, done mainly through supply and demand. If the market can be so saturated the demand shrinks to historic lows, such as when the world quits going to work because of a plandemic, then the price tanks.
Although this latest attempt at manipulation is historic. Never before has the commodity oil traded at negative values before.
