POTUS is SCHEDULED to gather his dogs and ponies for the daily CV Update at 5:00 PM EDT today.

I expect that this may morph into a Prime Time Address depending on how hard Tony Fauci has twisted his arm.

He said today was a big one. I expect him to announce State Borders to start closing. We have at least three counties in Colorado that have closed themselves to visitors. They just tell you to leave. Received an e-mail from one of them saying the same yesterday. Real numbers are starting to come in and harder restrictions are needed against this Bio Weapon. It is a War.

"Harder restrictions?" We've already set our economy on fire over this. What's left to do?

Lock down the State Lines. Papers please type stuff. As far as the economy you ain't seen nothing yet. This is October 1929 on steroids. Be sure you are topped off best you can. Heard from what I consider a very reliable person that Trucks on I-80 are being stolen at truck stop at an alarming rate. Let that sink in.

I predict that the news conference will get moved to prime time *if* a lot more shut downs are going to be announced. However, I'm expecting President Trump to *hint* at them today and then announce during prime time on Thursday night, maybe giving 24-hour notice.

Of course, I don't have a working crystal ball. This is only a hunch, based on the soft shut-downs so far.

In any case, if you need building supplies, seeds, or anything like that, it's probably a good idea to get them sooner rather than later.

If he were to announce hard shut-downs, it would induce more panic buying. SNAP and other benefits begin coming out tomorrow. If he announces it before then, the "haves" could wipe everything out before the "gibsmedats" could get their share. Not saying everyone who receives benefits is a "gibsmedats," but you get the general gist.

Close Wal-Mart and every other retailer for a start. Close drive through's actually name businesses that are critical to keeping the lights on and shut everything down for a few weeks.

What we have now is a joke and only limits entertainment venues.
Um NO!
You want panic and riots, you'll get it for those suggestions.
Our rural area Supercenter and Grocery stores have already been decimated by the run-ons.
Then the ignorant people from STL came down 2 weekends and wiped our meat departments out AGAIN so they can go camping and outdoor vacation.
So NO WAY!

This is how you get panic and riots, you understand. I think I'd rather take my chances with the damned virus!

We've already set our economy on fire over this. What's left to do?

The banksters and the Billionaire Boys Club set our economy on fire decades ago and now we are left with the ashes. This virus and any reaction to it have done nothing compared to the fundamental damage caused and built up over previous years. And any decisions to close, open, shut down, quarantine or anything else are minuscule injuries to an already dead economic system, but may help lower cases and thereby deaths.

The economy is dead already. No need to kill more people trying to "save" it.

There's just no indication in the media of any prime time address or of anything special that I see.

It is your choice. I have my safe space adjusted for windage.
You do realize we are already at that point. They say the apex should hit us around April 15th. People are already having a hard time feeding themselves and coping with the stress of lock down. Leaders have to be proactive to stop as much destruction as possible. Some time, hopefully in the near future, we will be able to crawl out from under our rock and start the engine.

I have scrips that are extremely expensive and that medicare will not let me get for more than 30 days at a time. I had to bite the bullet and go to Walmart this morning. They are open at 6 AM on Tues for Seniors to shop for 1 hour. We all had masks, gloves, and followed the distancing recommendations. The store was spotless and the folks calm and just doing their thing. I was very grateful I could go this route. I also made it a point to thank everyone who helped us. Nobody was buying anything but meds and food but maybe that is because us older folks are generally more realistic?

Dial back your hyperbole meters here; a month ago, we had a functioning economy. Businesses were open, people were working. NOW what do we have?

Are you sure about that?

Yes. And our choices it should remain.

Kentucky restricts out of state travel. (V: Having difficulty copying from phone.)

A month ago we had the same sham Potemkin Ponzi elite favoring globalist economy we have had for the past few decades. It has now collapsed. That is not hyperbole, it is FACT.

And people were working, and the store shelves were full. What do we have RIGHT NOW?

The aftermath of decades of fraud, waste and abuse of what used to be a functional economy, on a national and global scale. This is not about some virus or the political reaction to it.

Yes, and I think Dr. Fauci will win this time, which is why I put work aside and have been on the phone and email this morning. I'm NOT bailing anyone out if they are stuck at home without supplies, unless that happened through no fault of their own. It's time for me to limit my movements and become a deep shade of gray.

Uhmm, there are MANY locations where Walmart is THE grocery store in reasonable travel distance... And no, MANY folks do NOT shop for 2 weeks in advance.

Well, we will see if they declare a HARD 14 DAY SHUTDOWN this afternoon. I, for one, would not mind if they do.

I also am 98% sure they will NOT!

If that were the END OF IT, and I mean HARD END, no-equivocations, no hmm-we'll-sees, no "virus sets the timetable", I could live with it. But what we're getting is a lot of hem-and-haw that's doing just as much damage as anything.

I doubt anything that big will be announced today, much less in prime time. I could be wrong. But usually speculation tends to trickle out ahead of such things, and I've seen nothing so far today.

Got riots? Cities will burn.
Like someone else (somewhere) said, popcorn is a prep.
