UM, this is the beginning of the tidal wave I mentioned, the one that hits 7 to 14 days after exposure to Corona Chan. In this case the Spanish authorities, AND DOOMER DOUG IS GETTING TIRED OF THIS, allowed huge festivals. with one in Valencia I think, and GUESS WHAT? When you allow tens of thousands of people to mass together : In Spain, Florida, Texas, California, and now Oregon this is what happens. WHAT IS HAPPENING IN SPAIN AND ITALY WILL HAPPEN HERE IN CONUS BY THE END OF MARCH AND GOOD FRIDAY.

I believe it was up to 8 but you have to have pair with similar lung capacity similar machine settings. So how much you can run off one machine depends as much on patient mix.

Things like this will be used to expand capacity especially in those really hard hit Progressive Demo’s cities.

Pack food and drinks. Avoid coffee... use caffeine tablets as needed (fewer piss stops needed) Bring a couple empty soda bottles for pee breaks if you can't find an open rest stop, or don't want to use public facilities (I wouldn't at this point). You should be able to make it without having to get out of the car more than once, to get fuel.

I think if you have your ID, and are heading in the direction of home, you'll be ok. Heck, they aren't even arresting felons in many areas... they sure don't want people in jail for essentially breaking curfew.

Sounds as if he's pocketing some information on the vaccine candidates developed. Because his mention of chloroquinine and azithromyocin (Z packs) are resulting in nationwide shortages of both drugs.

People are for real spooked in many locations of the country. For some it's an inconvenience to be managed; some are doing the head on fire thing. I had a client hand me their keys (inside a ziplock baggie) this morning wearing a bio bunny suit, face mask, hair net and booties. She was at her HOME. WTF??????

Today he says he wants ALL the ventilators from the National Reserve and is angry he is not getting them. CA Gov. Newsom, on the other hand, says that CA has an an advantage because of their ability to purchase (masks) in such bulk quantity. They are flying masks in from China today. Elon Musk has delivered several thousands of ventilators to C already. He said he recognizes that smaller states are totatly pushed out of the market and that there needs to be some central distribution arrangement so that their needs are met equitably.

Grady, Northside, Egelston, EMORY???, Piedmont, Scottish Rite, Crawford Long (and those are the ones I remember in Fulton co) are full up on ICU beds? How?

What about Kennestone, RT Jones, the hospital in Ellijay, the VA hospital in Dublin? Are they available to take overflow? The state has adequate bed space, why is ICU bed space peaked?

Fauci (and Trump) keep talking about the areas of the country that are not like New York, and that it's possible those areas that aren't hot spots can go about normal activities. Fauci said, "We need to look at the areas of the country that don't have obvious outbreaks and consider that those aren't going to be like New York." Call me simple, but maybe they're just lagging behind because they don't have as many international travelers as New York??

I'd say fewer international travelers and less population density, for the most part.

Not really. Fouci said that some locations around the country have the possibility of lifting restrictions. America is not monolithic, not all strategies or levels of strategies will apply.

OK this is my take, there are apparently two laboratories in Wuhan experimenting with Coronavirus according to a previous post, is this co-incidence and nothing to worry about as viruses cannot escape from labs or not?

Another take, there are apparently 17,000 cases pa of deaths from flu over the past 5 years or so in the UK and probably similar elsewhere, I know that this virus is more contagious, but is it more lethal than flu in the short and long term.
The nation has to be prepared for at least 5-600,000 deaths in the UK regardless of the cause.

I listened to it, and that’s all they talked about was opening things back up and getting back to work. Only they extended the timeline to Easter. One journalist asked how the president can suggest encouraging Americans to pack their churches on Easter when it only takes one person to infect a whole county. Funny, but the White House live link cut off right as he was about to answer.

These numbers are extremely unrealistic and are gross under-estimates. 400,000 extrapolates out to 4 cycles of 3 days. That's 12 weeks. It will happen much faster than that. They are already occupying hotel and are now looking at sports stadiums. They are building army hospitals to house people. This is a really serious problem.

Unless you are trying to purposefully spread fear why would you pull Italy and say this is the magic numbers that apply to the US?

You could just as easily used Germany. Oh wait Germany or the reliable CCP monkey statistics out of China. Except the German numbers are bad but not as horrific as Italy, and for CCP numbers I still got that ocean view land in AZ.

I think the US presents some unique challenges but has some helpful snd not helpful social dynamics and less density. Italy and Iran appear to have either a worse strain or worse conditions and/or worse response when compared to their neighbors. It is also possible that they have closer ties and larger contacts with Chinese and recieved lots of transmissions from the original version. Gee Wally it sure was a good idea to limit travel from China early.

Thank God these major cities are run by liberal Progressive politics, they can prove how phenomenal nanny state fascists liberals have prepared their cities. It’s almost like everyone will want to live in these liberal utopia’s just by how easily they will handle this pandemic. I marvel at the number of lives that will be saved by a single multi-sex bathroom and limited soft drink cup size.

I think it's not beds but "Units" Bed, ventilator, and staff combo. Still, max capacity has been reached for Covid or anyone else who needs that combo in ICU which should be most.

Paraphrasing, I thought Dr. Fauci was making the point that strong measures (not just “back to work”) were needed, to avoid states with fewer cases getting infected from states with lots of cases.

All I can say is those Cities should not have spent their extra money and Fed funding on walking trails, dog parks, and solar systems. They would have been wise to set extra oil aside for their lamps when the dark comes.

The other thing that they kept stressing out of this presser was that New York City is bad. And they recognize that many people are fleeing NYC in droves. They’re asking everyone who leaves the city to quarantine themselves so they don’t “seed” other areas with infection.

Yeah. Asking them. How many do you think will adhere to that? They need to cut that island off if they want any hope of stopping this thing from spreading deeply across the country.

A lot of experts have suddenly appeared with the outbreak of CV, but do they really know anything given their scientific background or not. At the start of the outbreak there was nothing whatsoever from medical experts. Even if they are right it is all hindsight that they happened to be right or not, I'm willing to bet that the experts will say they are right whether there is a positive or negative outcome to this event.
