Good Morning, All! Just checking in and getting the thread started for the week before I head off to bed this morning. I'm going to try not to sleep too much past 1pm, so that I can still sleep tonight. We don't do the Super Bowl, but I did pick up a rack of ribs for Hubby to put in the oven for an excellent price when I stopped by the store on my way home from work - apparently the wholesaler shipped the store the wrong item, and the meat dept manager told 'em to come and get 'em and bring him the right product; they dickered back and forth for a bit and the wholesaler knocked a good bit off the price - and the manager was kind enough to pass it on to the customers. If they are good, I will go back in and pick up a half dozen to put in the freezer.
I also grabbed a couple more bricks of .22's that our Mag deal watcher caught on sale; can't have too many .22's. I took a quick look at the sale ads; nothing much caught my eye but I may stock up on more laundry detergent for daughter's shop. Possibly some 'manly' smelling body wash as well as Hubby and the boys' stock is getting a bit low. Rural King does have assorted garden seed on sale buy one get one free; I'll have to go in and see what brands they have. I've really been craving beet greens to cut and cook like spinach; wouldn't be too bad an idea to pick up a few packets of inexpensive red ones and plant a little cut and come again patch. Not a fan of red beets to eat the bulb - I prefer the golden ones; but the greens are fine.
Reckon I'd better pry myself off this computer and go soak a few aches out in the tub (and add epsom salts to my 'Watch for sale' list), then head to bed so I can get up in plenty of time to sample those ribs tonight.
You folks all take care, stay safe and stay sharp!
