Don't let the theory of distressing thoughts keep you from preparing for the real possibility.

Lawson & Garand wrote an excellent book "A Failure of Civility".

It wasn't cheap last time I looked. Almost 300 bucks

Maybe several people could "go in" on a community doomsday library.

I have loaned ours and had it traveling around for months on end.

Embrace the doom.!

If someone is desperate for the information in this book, it is available on the BitTorrent network.

This torrent of it is still active and available:

title: Failure of Civility, A~Garand.pdf
size: 49.1 MB

You might also find it as an electronic file in other survival collections around the internet.

Yep. I was a drummer in a rock/roll/R&B band back in the 60's. 4 piece group. The keyboard player started out I think with a Farfisa ( sp ? ), then acquired a Vox electric keyboard. Then he moved up to a hammond with a Leslie. Man what a sound ! To say it was awesome was an understatement. It put our group in a different level !!!
A different level to me was Rick Wakeman (I posted in this weekend's dance party some of his work with Yes), and Keith Emerson (RIP). About the time I started to listen to them, my high school's music department acquired one of the first mini-Moogs. The teachers basically wouldn't let anyone other than their pets play it. In an entire year, I think I had about 5 minutes on it.

Our custodian got sick and couldn't keep up as he had. I "volunteered" to clean my music department. Lots of time was spent making it pretty and clean. After, some time to play instruments without teachers, or pets. Pet this! More than one way up the Mountain.

Resist
As many have already suggested, exercise helps to get the stink off. I resumed daily walking the other week. Even though my arthritic joints say 'No", I go anyway. I will be stiff and creaky whether I walk or not, so, may as well get the exercise. People will react when their normalcy bias is stripped from them. Most people change when they have to, not when they want to. Whether it is too late to restore the Constitutional Republic and rid the mainstream of their Marxist ways, remains to be seen. I have done things that have garnered me criticism from all sides. So be it. Life is not a popularity contest.

RT 1:48:03 - Lawn Care Juggernaut

Hey there my name is Kevin. Over the past several months my family and I have traveled 11 states mowing lawns for free, on our Southern Domination Lawn Care Tour. This tour was 100% self funded. We do not accept donations. However, if you could take a few moments to leave a comment and a like on the video, subscribe if you haven't and if you really enjoy the content share it to your favorite social media platform. Example: Facebook, Instagram etc. The best part of all this is that it cost you nothing but I would greatly appreciate it as it allows our channel to continue help to others in ways I never dreamed possible.

Welcome back to another Lawn care juggernaut free lawn make over. This free lawn cut was outside of Jacksonville North Carolina. The property was overgrown with kudzu. Lawn Care Juggernaut gives a free lawn makeover and a free lawn cut. I traveled 1500 miles to CUT the MOST OVERGROWN LAWN and THIS HAPPENED (FREE LAWN CUT). This North Carolina lawn care property had over grown kudzu and invasive lawn vines all over. The property had hurricane damage that desperately needed lawn mowing. This was a free ugly lawn makeover performed by lawn care juggernaut boring channel. Please enjoy juggernaut lawn care videos and this free overgrown yard makeover on the lawn care tour. :) :) :)

Meet the Kudzu Goat Gang of Wells Farm in Horse Shoe, NC. These goats are highly sought after around the Southeast for clearing out hard to reach infestations of the strangling Kudzu weed. See how these goats work in a sustainable, efficient, and most delightful way.

…As much as you don’t want to, you try to keep [emotion] separate because this is a business, but it’s hard because they all have a cute personality. And then every once in a while, you get one that’s really stubborn, and that’s ok too because we all have that streak in us.

CHERYL SEARCY, WELLS FARM OWNER
Goats Galore
When Ron Searcy told his wife Cheryl that they were going into the goat business in 1998, she responded, “You are nuts.” Fast forward to present day, and they now have 300 goats roaming their farm in Horse Shoe, North Carolina.

The Searcys’ farm, Wells Farm, is all about working to provide environmentally safe methods for clearing areas of invasive vegetation, namely, Kudzu. Their main method happens to be goats.

“I mean they have it made, they get to eat. . . They do, they love to eat,” said Cheryl.

Controlling the Kudzu
The federal government estimated that there are roughly 7.5 million acres of land in the United States that are unusable due to Kudzu. Kudzu is an Eastern Asian climbing plant, used for erosion control. However, it has rapidly become a threat to the Southeastern United States.

That’s where the Searcys and their gang of goats come in.

“We specialize in taking them to areas that are difficult for machinery and manpower, places that are steep and hazardous,” said Ron of their Au natural weed hackers.

“When you go in a Kudzu area and they just annihilate it, it goes from head high down to the ground and everybody is just wowed,” he said. “They can’t believe it.”

A Family Farming Affair
The farm was purchased by Cheryl’s grandparents in 1938 and has been in her family’s care ever since. The couple has done a little bit of everything on the farm, all leading up to their true passion for goat farming.

“We had moved back to the farm and it was overgrown and out of hand. And someone said, ‘You need to get a gang of goats, you wouldn’t believe what they can do.’ That’s kind of how we got started,” Ron said.

“We started with a few, then a few more, and then we bought a Billy [goat] and the next thing you know our son’s saying, ‘Dad’s hobby has gone wild.'”

The Practice of Preservation
The target area for the goats is Crowder’s Mountain State Park, located in King’s Mountain.

“We’d like to get control of [the Kudzu] before it gets out of hand and spreads to the rest of the forest; it will completely consume areas. If you stop long enough I believe it will grow up your pants leg,” said Ron.

When asked how he feels about people’s reactions, Ron said, “It makes me feel good. It really gives me a lot of pride when somebody says that they’ve never seen anything like it before.”

This couple is putting North Carolina first by preserving the places that make it home.

let me be crystal clear. I completly agree with this mindset. what I have difficulty accepting is that WHEN this balloon goes up there are people who will be completely and utterly accepting of it and do absolute N O T H I N G for themselves and others in their care.

I have a HUGE problem with that. AM I THE ONLY ONE HERE WHO FEELS LIKE THIS?

we ALL acknowledge that GOD IS in control. what we do NOT seem to acknowledge is that we ALSO have a part to play in that.

you can have all the FAITH you need. but with the out the DOING PART - YOURS - you may well be in for a huge surprise. Noah BUILT the ark and Joseph SAVED (prepped?) for seven years.

D O I N G . . .
its an important part of
LIVING and BEING

major truth. - here's another - if someone FAILS to plan they PLAN to FAIL. we can look right here on this thread and see some of this. with a bit of effort we can see those who will NOT ACKNOWLEDGE what's ahead. I see that as tragedy in the making

once again . . . AM I the only one who feels thinks sees that as a DISTINCT possibility?
