At least season one. The original TV version was for children. This is the adult version. Some extraordinary great plot twists and writing in this one. There was a two seasons or so were the writing lagged (close to the end) but they got over it and it finished with some very interesting and fun twists. Fantastic graphics in the Fleet fights, and if you have a decent sound system, use it!

I've held off on re-watching it for years, but now that the Zylons are ready to attack in our real world, I think I'll watch it again.

Cant' fix or convince stubborn.

The original was for kids. Simplistic and droll. The remake is sophisticated with several nuanced plot twists, great expensive graphics and some dam good battle scenes that put Star Wars to shame.

Quite fantastic if you can get into it and get through the first season. It took me a while to get into it but I'm glad I did. Love good writing and good acting. The things that poor doctor went through     .

Oh yeah, super hottie.

That’s Kate Sackhoff. There was a hysterical segment on Big Bang Theory when Howard has settled in to a bubble bath while having a “conversation” with her. This segment is about 6 minutes watch to the end.

I had a feeling I shouldn't click on that; but I did.
Disturbing. :lol::lol:

Katie Sackoff never did anything for me. But the little Bernadette character.
Hugging short, very busty blondes tight (ok, and brunettes), and then having to, ahem, pull them in close enough to manage reaching their lips, well, that always managed to help me rise to the occasion.

Careful, you’ll get it on the ceiling.
No worries mate, I'm still in the clicking stage. I'm a long lasting clicker.

actually the pic is of the Cylon, not the female Starbuck
Starbuck was Katie Sackoff
I believe that over the course of the series, “Starkbuck” (aka Dirk Benedict in the original unwoke version) was kidnapped by the Cylons and duplicates made as spies.

In The Expanse, the church was building a huge ship to colonize “out there”. It was commandeered for another purpose. Worth watching.
That show was great. My astronomy professor and I spent quite a bit of time discussing in class what the show got right. And Drummer! Did I mention Camina Drummer?

I think you are right, good sir. I was mainly addressing the eye candy Tricia Helfer pic referenced as 'Click Bait', of which I have no problem with said clicks. it also makes sense story wise to make bait as attractive as they could, to infiltrate. I think they made a good choice for the part as they wrote it.

For the record, I liked both versions.

Now if we could just eliminate from history the abortion known as Galactica 1980

It was all great. The battle scenes were fun. I think the travel time around the planets was unrealistic, but you gotta do that.

That's probably why I liked the original and it is burned in my memory.

I was about 10 years old when it came out and I was STOKED to watch the show. We were dirt poor and only had a 13" black and white TV set at the time. I had a little pair of earphones that I could plug into the auxillary jack and I was pretending to be one of the fighter pilots.

About 15 minutes before it ended there was a national news bulletin that cut off transmission and switched to something about Iran. I wanted to say it was the embassy crisis but I don't think those dates align. Anyway, I was PISSED. I kept yelling at the tv to hurry up so I could see the ending. Then when the 15 minutes were over I kept watching for another 15 minutes hoping they would still play the end. It never happened.

About a year later they released the pilot in the theaters and I finally got to see what happened... A year later...

I can sympathize with the Raider fans who got stuck watching The Sound of Music.
