If you are talking about an ecosystem balance I would tend to agree...................but the question how does one determine who is expendable or not....... and how do we determine who makes such decisions?
That's impossible to do.................
It was the industrial revolution the created the population growth beyond 1 billion worldwide...........it is at the foundation of all creature comforts and human progress today........as well as many of our issues in the coveting of finite resources and land.
Like all progress in society it is a two edge sword............
But the people who want to make this decision are the same people responsible for the problems to begin with.................
Unfortunately no one should be. Who would the Great Deceiver go after first and hardest and have the easiest time of it? Most have acted like low hanging fruit since the beginning of time when they should be the exact opposite.
