Oh yeah they were talking about this that the beer, wine and Booz people want in on the action and jackup the prices.

Find a local winery/brewery and you should be set. Even here in Florida there are small boutique wineries. We have one out in Seffner that also does bodacious ciders

The reports I'm getting are that the harvest here was average in size and outstanding in quality. So there will be plenty of great California 2021 vintage wine. These reports are from the cellar masters I get oak from.

See? Good news.

China doesn't make wine (that I'm aware of) but there's a host of good wines out of Cali & WA State.
If you've got the space (I currently don't) I've made some good stuff from kits too.

Wine shortage?

Who cares ?

Now if there were a shortage of Ky Bourbon, THAT would be something to be concerned about !

Already have plenty of branch water. Just don't cramp the supply of Ky Bourbon !

Actually yes they do make wine, they're also the largest potato producer in the world.

I don't drink a lot but have yet to see a China section in the liquor store I use: Australian, Chile, California, France etc but no China. Is it rice-based or did they import vines?

Funny about the potatos; I always associate rice w/ Asian countries & Spuds w/ Europe & America.
