wind-up/shake flashlights

I was in 2 different wal-marts this week
in one, in the hunting section, they had the shake flashlights

then in the other, they had wind-up led flashlights

have not seen these available before in our local stores

oh, and they also had two different led headlamps on clearance

I love the LED headlamps! I use mine every night when I put the chicks in the pole barn (no electricity). DH lusted after mine so much that he bought his own.

I also just received a windup LED flashlight/cell phone charger as a gift. I haven't tried the cell phone charger yet but the flashlight works great and is in my Jeep.

I have the Russian pump flashlight, i find them excellent, i tried the shake style but didn't like it,
i have a 7 led headlamp with 3 brightness modes, fantastic bit of kit, keep it in the pickup at all times,

I got this one from JCRefuge, I believe, works the best of all the shake lights I have tried.

Those "self generating" lights are pretty cool!

Just watch out for the fakes, I have seen several
that have a watch battery to power the light.
