CRISIS Why men who murder women should be called TERRORISTS

After being told for the past fifty years that women can do everything men can as good as or better than men I have recently decided to go against the way I was raised and have become a male feminist.

I believe women should be able to call it whatever they want to call it as long as they do not ask men to solve the problem for them. They are strong and independent and can solve their own problems.

I also believe since men have been dying for thousands of years to protect women it is now time for women to step up and put their lives on the line to protect men. This would go a long way to make up for the many men who have died throughout history protecting women. It is time to make amends for this historical injustice.

Thankfully feminism has destroyed the patriarchy and men no longer have to protect or provide for women just as women don’t have to cook, clean or have sex with men.

It's Australia, ask them!

My one thought is if they label these kooks as terrorists they can arrest them ahead of their crimes, especially since most of these idiots put their ideas out onto social media, aka the manifesto.
By that logic, ANYONE who kills or attacks (or even is accused of contemplating?) another (especially of a pre-determined "minority" or "oppressed" or "protected" group) will now face the additional charge of "terrorism."

I by NO means condone or support misogyny or men who batter women or serial-killers of women, but I see a deeper agenda in this article that is dangerous.

Before they invented terrorism, it was just kidnapping and murder.
Then some Ivy League Politician came up with a new word - "terrorism".
And now, everyone trying to make some political point invokes terrorism . . . and the politicians start negotiating right after they say they don't negotiate with terrorists.

Terrorism is defined as "the use of violence and intimidation, esp. against civilians (not military), in the pursuit of political aims." So if what happened here fits that description - it is terrorism.

If men are banding together on the internet to seek to harm or kill women (not just talk about it but plan and do it) for a political purpose - even if it's just men are superior to women - then it is terrorism.

Not pretty. Not a place we want to be but still - it's terrorism.

So what do we do about this? If it's wrong for women to emasculate and demean men - and I think it is - then it's got to be wrong for men to slaughter women! This just goes to a war that everyone loses. When will sanity finally come back??

I get really mad at my DH sometimes. He just doesn't listen. But I've learned after 40 years of marriage that anger gets you nowhere and I try hard to not get so angry or impatient with him. That's my fault not his. Humor helps - like holding a piece of chocolate cake when I want to talk to him. Or using words that seem to get his attention - "I have a problem" "Tell me what you think". We laugh about our communication problems. Be sure though, I love my DH and I will fight you to the death if you try to harm him. We are a team.

So I don't get this anger of men vs women. If you don't want to marry - don't. Nothing wrong with that. Your choice. But don't take someone else's wife out or murder their child. That could be their whole world and you DON"T HAVE THAT RIGHT. And if you band together with others and plot to do this - it's terrorism and I hope they put you down. Not out of spite or revenge - just to protect those of us who appreciate both men and women and still want them around.

I'm so sick of terrorism.

Neither here nor there.
