POL why do people support or oppose Obama

Richard

TB Fanatic
Although fortunately I do not have to vote for any of the useless candidates
for POTUS
dumb, dumber and dumbest

I object to Obama for the following reasons:

He is too inexperienced
His election website is no better than a college student could muster (neither is Hitlery's)
The health reforms are completely unworkable, they will cost a fortune but he has no idea where the money will come from
He trades on his race, though he could call himself white
He does not include 80% of the US population under "people" on his website
He will legalise all illegals
He will do nothing about South Africa or Zimbabwe or any of the black African dictatorships, except throw your money at them to no avail
Maybe others when I think of them

Amazed

Does too have a life!
Top three reasons:

Lack of experience - who the heck is he?

His 20 year membership in a church that clearly is extremely racist. If his judgment is that poor, he has no business running for president.

His outstanding support in the Arab world. Whether he's Muslim or Christian, the Arabs seem to think he's one of them and that gives me a huge pause for thought.

I will not vote for him because he doesn't appear to understand either the Constitution or the role of the federal government in our lives.

(nor does his chief opponent, for that matter)

"Why?" The core reason?

Same as any other politician in the US since the mass-media brainwashing of the 20th Century. Ignorant, narrow-minded self interest (race, money, guns, gays, war, environment or abortion - pick one).

I would not vote for him and some of the reasons are:

His extreme far left ideology
He is inexperienced
The tactics he used to get elected in Illinois
His 20 year association with Rev Wright and 20 year membership in his church listening to Rev Wright spout his vile anti white, anti American remarks and only now is offended by it.
His mother was an atheist, extreme leftist and cultural marxist who met Obama's father while studying Russian at Univ. of Hawaii
Both his natural father and step-father were Muslims
He attended Muslim schools in Jakarta Indonesia until he was 10 Indonesia has the largest Muslim population in the world.
His refusal to salute the flag or wear the flag pin until he saw it was affecting his elect ability
He is married to a woman who wrote in her College thesis:
'There was no doubt in my mind that as a member of the black Community, I am obligated to this community and will utilize All of my present and future resources to benefit the black Community first and foremost.'
Michelle LaVaughn Robinson (Obama), in 1985 Princeton thesis

If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck....it just might be a duck.

In the present environment in Washington, with a Whitehouse and a congress where anything goes, where they make decisions that make no sense and spend borrowed money like drunken sailors...........adding him to the mix really scares me

Is not fit to defend the Constitution as he cannot read and understand the Second Amendment.

Is not fit to be Commander in Chief because he has an immature grasp of military history

Iran, Cuba, Venezuela, these countries are tiny compared to the Soviet Union. They don’t pose a serious threat to us the way the Soviet Union posed a threat to us.

How about Japan? My history book says that tiny island posed enough threat to us that we nuked it.

I forced myself to take a long hard look at the guy and make sure my deep South upbringing was not subconsciously blocking me from giving him a chance.
Was I being a typical Southern female from a past era running in fear of a big black man?:shkr:
I told DH since we might be stuck with him, it might behoove us to try as best we can to prepare for him so we will not be vehemently sickened for 4 or possibly 8 years and have to forego watching any news show for fear of having to get mad just looking at him.

I believe I have given it a good try. And I agree with most all the reasons already mentioned here, plus he hems and haws too much when he is not looking at a teleprompter or a piece of paper. He really does not seem to have an answer for way too many things when he gets hit off guard.

I think there is more to this man than meets the eye.
And why did he agree to a number of debates with McCain, then cut it way back?

And I know this is not a logical type reason, but I have a problem with saying 'President Obama"....that does NOT feel right.I would rather have a good ole President Smith or Jones. ( I know, I know, President Smith or Jones, might make a huge mess too, just saying....)

Last night as I changed the channel being bored with the political talk, it occured to me, there is no use in really having any more political coverage, peoples minds are already made up And they are not made up based too much on issues, IMO.
They are in this corner or that corner, or no corner with no plans to get in either corner, regardless.
I could be wrong, maybe there are a considerable number of Undecideds who need to be wooed, but for some reason, I think the lines are already formed.

Why I will not vote for Obamarama:
1. His TOTAL lack of experience.
2. He's going to bring about change but really dosen't tell us what he plans on changing
or how he plans on doing it. His supposed explainations are just smoke and mirrors
IMHO.
3. The fact that he calls his white grandparents, who took him in and spent their hard
earned money to raise him, "white folks" is very, very telling in my book.
4. He seems very, very uncomfortable "embracing" his white heritage. Now how is a guy
who cannot seem to embrace his white self going to bring us together?
5. He's pro-abortion and anti gun.
6. His wife proudly proclaims that they struggle financially sending their children to music
and dance lessons...ON THE KIND OF MONEY THAT THEY BRING IN!! If that is so,
they are totally out of touch with us regular people.
7. The feeling, at least to me, that his political rallies look more like rock concerts or
religious revival meetings kinda scares me. (false prophets and the antichrist)

The only good thing about this guys becoming the President of the United States is that ....HE WON'T BE MY SENATOR ANY MORE...not that he actually did anything for Illinois during his term in congress. As a matter of fact, I don't recall ANYTHING he has done while in congress. Period.

To actually answer the question.

Why do blacks support Obama? Ego vote, bragging rights & racism.

Why do whites support Obama? White guilt, ego vote-bragging rights.

Why do other races support Obama? He is not white and ignorance of not knowing any better.

Why do blacks oppose Obama? Some do, they are intelligent and know he isn't a good choice, especially now.

Why do whites oppose Obama? Mixed bag. They know he isn't a good choice, especially now. And, the old devil, racism. You know it's true.

Why do other races oppose Obama? They either know better, or it is racism again.

1. He hates America, as does his wife.

2. Before he got on the George Soros (another America hater) gravy train, he was funded largely by Tony Rezko, an apparently crooked developer in Chicago.

3. His introduction to 'community organizing' was for Acorn, an America-hating organization that has perfected the art of shaking down the American taxpayer to pay for litigation aimed at benefitting certain favored classes.

4. Practically all his associates are America-haters and Marxists.

5. He is a liar, and he is very good at it.

6. An Obama administration will bring America to its knees, which is the goal of those promoting and funding him.

Why I would never vote for him.....

1. He's ignorant about United states history!

2. He has pledged his allegiance to Muslim culture not the U.S.

3. He is not interested in the Citizens of the U.S.

4. He's not interested in solving any of the problems that currently exists in the U.S.

5. He's not interested in justice...racial, border, financial...what have you..pick one!

6. He has to have his hands held and dictated what to say and what to do and can't think on his own.

7. Has no morals to speak of!

8. He tries to hold most of his past in secrecy including where his funding comes from!

9. Is a huge believer in racial discrimination...hence the church he attended, his mother's own comments, his wife's comments, his comments on the generous folks who raised him!

10. Speaks on what is the perceived issues that the masses want to hear and not on issues that need to be addressed!

11. Those he associates with and surrounds himself with are America hating scumbags!

12. He doesn't give a rat's a$$ about America and the values it was founded on and does not believe in nor will he up hold the constitution!

13. He is anti gun.. against the right to bear arms!

14. He's a compulsive lier.

He is a money hoarding, two timing, racial, lying, Muslim loving, drug using, politically ignorant, anti constitutional, scum bag! Gee...I didn't hold back did I!

As to the question why do people appose or support Obama?

Why do they support? Sheer ignorance! Because they either don't know better or choose not to know better! Meaning they would rather look at skin color instead of qualifications. They would rather feel good about how others perceive them than look at qualifications. etc.

Why do those appose? Because they choose to see the truth and want change! They want to reestablish the principles that our fore fathers originally founded this country on! They want the constitution to mean more than a mere piece of paper!

Proud Pagan Witch Backs Obama's Poverty Bill
June 25, 2008
By Cliff Kincaid

Pagan Pride and Barack Obama
While Senator Barack Obama struggles to keep the public in the dark about the nature of his pro-U.N. Global Poverty Act, a recent “Bay Area Interfaith Leaders’ Luncheon” was held to lobby for Senate passage of the bill, whose cost has been estimated at $845 billion. An actual witch who spoke at a “Pagan Pride” festival in San Francisco was one of the listed participants.

The witch, known as the “Elder Donald Frew” of the “Wiccan Community,” was interviewed by the Reverend Don Lewis of “Witch School International” for a “reality” show called “Magick TV” and is shown talking about his involvement in the United Nations-backed United Religions Initiative. You can see the interview here. Magick TV features a “daily spell.” (update, file removed from youtube)

Representatives of the United Religions Initiative and the World Parliament of Religions were also among those included in the controversial Bay Area conference, which was held at the University of San Francisco, a Jesuit Catholic institution with a “global perspective,” under the auspices of the Lane Center for Catholic Studies and Social Thought.

A local paper described the event as an “unprecedented lobbying effort” that was “paired with a call to the Bay Area’s myriad faith communities to join in what the religious leaders see as the defining issue facing the globe today.”

Meanwhile, a concerned parent alerted us to the fact that a Christian preschool in Long Island, New York was handing out a coloring page for children which included a plea for Congress to pass Obama’s Global Poverty Act. “Dear Parents,” said the letter that was sent home. “We would like to join efforts with the congregation of St. David’s to stop world hunger. You and your child can help by coloring and signing the enclosed sheet. This sheet will be sent along with many others to our representatives in Washington, D.C…Thanks for supporting such a great cause. Sincerely, St. David’s Christian Preschool.”

The sheet said “Dear Senator: At Preschool, I learned to thank God for the food I eat. I also collect coins to help those who don’t have enough. Today, I ask you to help, too, with more and better aid for the world’s poorest countries. We want Congress to pass the Global Poverty Act. Please cosponsor S. 2433. Thank you.” The child’s name and age were supposed to be filled in.

The pictures to be colored included what appeared to be an angel holding a bowl of food (with a Valentine heart on the robe and the bowl) and a basket with apples.

The Real Agenda
The plea for “more and better” foreign aid money conflicts with the claims of those who insist the Obama bill doesn’t authorize the expenditure of more federal funds. As AIM has documented, the bill amounts to a mandate on the federal government to force compliance with the Millennium Development Goals of the United Nations.

Despite the importance the left-wing religious activists attach to Obama’s Global Poverty Act, the senator failed to even mention the bill in a patriotic TV ad that is supposed to highlight his legislative activities. As AIM revealed, media “watchdogs” and “fact-checkers” at the Washington Post and the Annenberg Political Fact-Check project failed to note the omission. The cover-up undoubtedly reflects awareness of the unpopularity of spending massive amounts of new foreign aid money on U.N. causes and the fact that Obama’s sponsorship of this bill could badly backfire on the candidate.

But lobbying for passage of the legislation continues behind-the-scenes. The bill has passed the House of Representatives and the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and awaits action by the full Senate.

Frew’s reported participation was significant. A featured speaker at a “Pagan Pride” festival in San Franciso, he is described as an Elder in both the New Reformed Orthodox Order of the Golden Dawn and Gardnerian traditions of modern Wicca and a High Priest of Coven Trismegiston in Berkeley, California. Other attractions at the “Pagan Pride” festival included a firewalking instructor, a magician, and a belly dancer.

The popular Internet site myspace.com features an entry about Donald Frew’s Coven Trismegiston and a video about the “laws of Wicca.” It begins with the words, “Hear now the words of the witches.”

According to his bio, Frew “has been very active in interfaith work on behalf of the Craft for over 17 years and is the National Interfaith Representative for the Covenant of the Goddess (the largest Wiccan religious organization on Earth).” He has represented Covenant of the Goddess at both Parliaments of the World’s Religions and serves on the Global Council of the U.N.-affiliated United Religions Initiative. Frew claims pagan religions make up one-fourth of the world’s population and are increasing their influence in the U.S.

A Muslim representative to the Bay Area conference was identified as Iftekhar Hai of the United Muslims of America (UMA). The UMA is a member of the American Muslim Taskforce on Civil Rights and Elections (AMT), an umbrella organization that includes controversial groups such as the Council on American-Islamic Relations. The AMT’s “political advisory” urges support for a candidate promising constitutional rights for suspected terrorists, an immigration policy that is “fair” to “undocumented workers,” and an end to the U.S. “occupation” of Iraq and Afghanistan.

The Real Cost
Even though Obama’s backers in the media and elsewhere are trying to insist that his Global Poverty Act costs nothing in additional foreign aid and simply reorganizes federal agencies, one of the main themes of the conference was passing the bill and committing the U.S. to “Point 7 Now and the Millennium Development Goals” of the United Nations.

The official conference brochure explained, “The phrase ‘Point 7 Now’ refers to the commitment made by developed countries through the 2002 Monterey Consensus to increase foreign aid to poor countries to 0.7% of a developed country’s national income.” It added, “The United States is currently at 0.2%.” The difference, according to Jeffrey Sachs of the United Nations, is $65 billion a year. As we have repeatedly pointed out, from 2002 to the target date of reaching the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) in 2015, this adds up to $845 billion more in foreign aid spending for the U.S.

“We are asking our federal legislators for real and effective support for increasing the amount of aid that the United States provides so that the MDGs can be implemented and the goal of eliminating the worst of the world’s poverty can be accomplished by 2015,” stated the official conference literature. “Specifically, we are lobbying the Senate to pass the Global Poverty Act of 2007 making support of the MDGs official US policy. We invite you to be part of this effort.”

Conference organizers distributed a letter signed by Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-Cal.) declaring her support for increasing the foreign aid budget.

One of the key presentations of the “Point Seven Now” concept at the event was given by George Wesolek, Director of the Office of Public Policy and Social Concerns of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of San Francisco. A “legislative analysis” was provided by David Gist, legislative advocate for the Bread for the World organization. The Master of Ceremonies was Dr. Mike Duffy, the director of the Lane Center for Catholic Studies and Social Thought at the University of San Francisco.

Platform for Obama?
It turns out that this event, held in February, was just the forerunner to a larger conference of liberal and left-wing religious movements that are shaping up to be among Barack Obama’s major supporters.

The Lane Center is one of several co-sponsors of the upcoming July 11-13 Convention for the Common Good, which will feature a presidential candidates forum, as well as a speech by AFL-CIO President John Sweeney. Sweeney is a member of the Democratic Socialists of America, a group of longtime backers of Barack Obama. The AFL-CIO is expected to announce on Thursday that it is officially endorsing Obama for president.

The “common good” convention is being convened by Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good and NETWORK, a “National Catholic Social Justice Lobby” that claims to have 100,000 members. The complete list of sponsoring organizations includes Pax Christi USA; Maryknoll Office for Global Concerns; Center of Concern; Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good; NETWORK, A National Social Justice Lobby; Sisters of Mercy; National Catholic Rural Life Conference; Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities; Ignatian Solidarity Network; US Catholic Mission Association; Conference of Major Superiors of Men; Oblates of St. Francis De Sales; AFL-CIO; Franciscan Mission Service; Franciscan Action Network; Catholics United; Catholic Scholars for Worker Justice; University of San Francisco, Lane Center for Catholic Social Thought.

It says a “Platform for the Common Good” will be ratified at the convention and then “sent to presidential candidates and both national political parties as a way to influence the debate over the defining moral and political issues of our time.”

The official list of RSVPs for the February 20 Bay Area Interfaith Leader’s Luncheon were:

I dislike Obama intensely.

I dislike McCain and the Republican Party's agenda even more.

Lesser of two evils.

P.S. If you are of mixed race you are within rights to pick one and call yourself that. For a long time the government made you do it even if you considered yourself both....or would put you in a category itself if you refused to do so.

I have yet to read or hear of anything he's proposed which would NOT create worse economic conditions that we now have--and which are already worsening.

So I don't have to care about race or lying or inexperience or whatever. His ideas are bad for everybody's billfolds, even those for whom he would create "tax breaks". That is, what good is saving a few hundred dollars in income tax, if his policies cost thousands at the gas pump and in the grocery store?

He's a gun grabbing socialist.

This is pretty much my stand on it. I dont think McCain is so hot either, but I feel that with him in office, I'll be able to keep my guns for a few more years. Maybe this country can pull its collective heads out of their... collective... arses... (this sounds dumb, I know) long enough to reinforce individual gun rights, 2nd Amendment, Stand your ground laws, etc, so the Lame Left can't get a foothold like they did in the Clinton years.

His flattering, flowery rhetoric says nothing, yet is so well recieved by the masses.

He reps. Illinois.

That he inspires famous Malcolm X images to be remade with his face, on T-shirts being hawked on the streetcorners of my own 'downtown' community.

That he is backed by some of the most racist blacks in our nation.

That our 'enemies' among nations are hoping he's the one elected. Meanwhile the closest thing we have to friend, Europe, is reportedly wary.

That he's affiliated with the church he attended for 20 years where certain people with matters in common, all reported to have been familiar to Obama, have been mysteriously murdered of recent years...sounds too much like Clinton's disappearing acts in the years leading up to his election.

His extreme position on 'right to choose' abortion.

The icky feeling I get on the inside when I just stop to listen to my gut.....but then it feels like that with any of our leading contenders. :(

Obama is the single most pro-abortion candidate in the country (higher NARAL rating than Hillary, even), and led the opposition in Illinois and the Senate to legislation which would mandate care for babies who survived abortion attempts. I am NOT turning this into an "abortion thread", just so you know, but a baby who survives an attempted abortion is a person, under the law, the minute they're born, and a citizen to boot---Obama says they must NOT be given medical assistance because that would interfere with the mother's "right".) I'd cut my hand off before I'd vote for any candidate with that record.

And he's a Marxist. I don't vote for Marxists.

And all the other valid reasons posted on this thread.

He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, Bilderberg, et al. In other words, he is part of the new world order crowd . . . just like McCain and Hillary.

He is an enemy of the U.S. and our sovereignty.

He is an enemy of the Constitution.

He is an enemy of the people of the United States.

And BTW, under our laws, he is not eligible to serve as President. Nor is McCain eligible.

Geez! There's a list as to why I oppose him.
For one thing, he's a Marxist (except when it comes to he and his friends).
Another, despite what he says, he's no different than any other politician, he just campaigns differently and has managed to make people think that he's different.
Apart from that, I'm told that he's a pretty nice guy. I know a lot of nice guys that I don't want to be President of the United States.

I care not whether he's black, orange, blue, or albino.
The man has little or no experience compared to many qualified individuals who have chosen not to run for POTUS.
He lacks conviction on crucial issues. He's a fence sitter or rather he speaks from both sides of his mouth just like his opponent.
He either lacks understanding of the Constitution or, more likely, he views it as an outmoded document of yesteryear and would ignore our foundation in a heartbeat for his own liberal directives.
In short he's just like almost all of the candidates we've had on the ballots for the past 40 years or more (save Reagan).

Other than that, I wouldn't mind drinking a beer with him at a picnic if he promised not to run for anything more important than dog catcher until he proves himself.

Same goes for the other candidate. At least I give McCain credit for his military service if nothing else. It's almost as though we have two Democrats in the running at this point.

Where's Ron Paul?
Answer: He's on my ballot as the right-in candidate of choice for POTUS. At least I have the knowledge that I did my part to vote for the best man for the job instead of the lesser of evils.

a

whole bunch of reasons, most listed above. I didn't know anything about him until he started to pull neck and neck with Hitlery, then I started reading the articles that came out and didn't see much of anything I liked.

I am also pretty suspicious of anyone who spent so many of his youthful years not only in foreign countries but countries where he participated in a religion that is anathema to most all American values.

On top of all that, I am pretty damn sure both he and his wife are racist to the core, and Marxist and gun grabbing.

He gave Hillary the finger.
His wife cant be happy with a $315 million dollar per year income because she has to pay her college loans and piano lessons for her girls.
His best friends are weathermen, slum lords and racists, Ted Kennedy and the MSM Soros.
He was born a Bxxtard, and raised a Muslim, and smoked crack while engaged in homosexual acts while a US Senator and a married man and father of daughters.
He belongs to the political party of Death, abortion and partial birth abortion.
He wont salute the same flag that flies over the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier

now as for politics, I just found this article and this is where I think NoBama is misleading us in his campain promises. People will hear this resonate in his speeches and vote for Nobama. But in an Obamination Presidency the US will be delivered to the UN on a silver platter and Constitution will end up in a museum under military gun guard. And the middle class will be destroyed by the wealth switch to entitlements and tax increases to pay for failed medical coverage and increased military presence in Africa.

(Please vote for McCain. At least I can agree with most of his views, policies and ideas and life experiences.)

There are some very angry and very thought provoking ideas in this article. I sincerely hope we as a nation dont have to go socialist in our electorate.

The End of the American Dream
"Everyone Wants the American dream. But the dream isn't there anymore. You fall more than you climb." — Comment by worker interviewed after November 1994 elections.
During the 1990s, the idea of the American dream, that the next generation will do better than the present one, has now all but disappeared for most workers and youth.
Take Craig Miller, a 37-year-old father of four from Kansas City. Like millions of other workers, he was recently laid off from his job, in his case, by TWA, and has his living standards and life expectancy shattered. He has faced s job market littered with low-paid part-time jobs. "Sure, we've got four of them. So what? So you can fork like a dog for $5 an hour." He and his wife both now work for McDonalds while he also drives school buses and she works at a toy store as a second job.

During the 1980s and 1990s, living standards have been under continual assault from all directions, whether it is cut wages, loss of jobs or higher taxes. More and more the struggle is just to get by. Insecurity, tension and fear have become a daily part of life. The depth of the attacks on workers' living standards over the last two decades can be seen from these facts.
From 1973 to 1992 while productivity has gone up 25%, wages have gone down 19%.
Between 1979 and 1987 the average worker worked 95 hours more each year. That is more than three and a half weeks a year. Also vacation time has fallen by one third.
Between 1979 and 1989, 44% of the population saw a real fall in their income, and only 25% saw an increase. This means that 75% of the population saw their living standards decline or stagnate. Between 1973 and 1987 the income of families headed by someone under 30 years of age fell 30%. The income of families headed by someone who didn't graduate from high school fell 5.2%!
This collapse in living standards is rooted in the failure of the economy to produce well-paying jobs which was the basis for the American dream. Years of concessions, downsizing, lay-offs, the flight of manufacturing jobs overseas and the proliferation of low-paid service jobs have changed the job market and conditions of life for workers. This has occurred during both recessions and recoveries of the economy.
In this climate, workers are told by the politicians and the media that they have to further tighten their belts. As if they haven't been tightening their belts already! Leaders of the Democrats and Republicans now point to the need to "compete" in the global economy as the new reason why workers must work harder, take home less pay, work unsociable hours and allow their children to grow up facing jobs paying only $5, $6 and $7 an hour. Once again, we are told that if we do this then things will turn around in the future.
Meanwhile, the rich have amassed a fortune, and the politicians in Washington are surrounded by wealth and privilege, far removed from the day-to-day concerns of working people. Of an estimated $7 trillion of wealth created in the 1980s, $3 trillion went into the bank accounts and pockets of the wealthiest 1% of the population, i.e. almost half of all the wealth!
During the 1990s the anger at this process rose to the surface. Quite rightly, US workers have pointed the finger at political leaders. In 1992, it was the Republican president Bush who was swept from power with only 38% of the vote. In November 1994, it was the turn of the Democratic leadership in Congress. Both Democrats and Republicans have been hammered by voters for their failure. Working people now face the newly-elected Republicans in Congress who are looking to further cut public services and benefit the rich and big business.
America is at a turning point. The ways of the past are no longer working. Conditions keep deteriorating year after year. It is time for an alternative. The starting point for this alternative must be that we, as workers, have our own interests and our own solution to the problems of America. This solution is drastically different from that of corporate America, with its agenda of speed-ups on the job and cuts in services in order to defend its profits. Our agenda is based on the real needs of workers. Food on the table, a decent house, a secure well-paid job, health care for all and the right to get a decent education. It is based on the idea that all the people need to have a decent job available to them, so they can produce sufficient goods and services to earn a decent living. It is based on challenging the control and ownership of the top 500 corporations who dominate the economy, and putting power and control into the hands of working people.
This can only be done by challenging the two existing political parties which serve the interests of big business and capitalism. A new political party needs to be built. A political party organized by, funded by, and democratically controlled by the vast majority of the people in the country, the working people. This party would not be controlled by corporate America with its "special" interest. With such a party, workers could for the first time gain real control of the resources of the country, and would be able to transform America to provide for the needs of our class, the working class.

To be honest I don't see Obama as black or white. All I see is that Obama has a kind, friendly, open and honest looking face. His cute ears sticking out reminds me of a little boy yet his speech manerism speaks of nothing but p.o.w.e.r. Now, he can't help how he looks but he is most definitely capitalizing on the "vision" mixing it with the smooth power of his voice. (Whether he knows what he's talking about or not.)

He seems to be smart but let's look at his backgroud or roots and that is....Muslim, Communist and twisted Christianity. He did nothing as Senator of note except defend the murder of innocent babies. He doesn't know the Constitution, doesn't honor the flag except when it suits him and he wants to take away our guns leaving homeowners defenseless.

How will he act as Supreme Commander? Well we do know we can't depend on bravery. His cowardice is made evident by hiding his cigarettes even though it's LEGAL. What a twerp and how in the Sam Hill did he get this far?????

I like Ron Paul but I'm going with McCain only because Obama scares the heck out of me. Big time.

I think I will send a suggestion to the Obama site, saying that he should introduce a smoking ban in Government-owned buildings including the Whitehouse and its grounds
