ADMIN “Why can’t I post to the board anymore?”

So things are going along fine. You’re an active member and post when you have something to say. Then, one day, when you try to post you get a message similar to “you don’t have permission to perform that function” (or whatever it says.) You haven’t the slightest clue as to why. You try and try again, to no avail. What happened? Were you banned for some reason?

No. What probably happened is that you changed your email address. When you do that, the forum software automatically locks your account, and sends an email to your NEW email address. There’s a link in the email that reactivates your account when you click it.

Some email providers have decided that the “timebomb2000.com” domain is spam, and pre-filter the email. Thus you never receive it. Other folks’ email client shunts it into the “junk” or “spam” folder, and you never see it in your inbox. UNLESS YOU CLICK THE LINK, YOUR ACCOUNT WILL REMAIN INACTIVE FOREVER. You can still PM staff though. So what you need to do is message one of us and request that your account be reactivated.

One more thing: you need to take action to “whitelist” our email domain so you get the board emails. That will either be in your local mail client, with your email provider, or both.
