POL White House announces physical exam for President Trump the day after he slurred through speech

Good hygiene does not insure keeping your teeth. Chemo treatments caused my salivary glands to dry up. Teeth went away. I now have a $25K smile, but the choppers still get loose after a long day, even with supporting implants.

Looks like a long day and the need for a refresh of Polygrip. Getting old ain't for sissies!

I pray that he is alright. Behind all the glitz and drama the MSM is throwing out, he is getting some monumentally important things set in motion to make our nation great again. Stacking courts with folks who follow the Constitution, economy, immigration, standing on his two hind legs in front of a world stage that is not used to this, and much more.

As a full denture wearer, I have had dentures in one form or another since FIRST GRADE...I simply was born missing several teeth, so when my baby teeth fell out, the Ortho started using fillers as space holdings so the teeth I had would be in their right places..

I thought it was a mouth/denture issue right off. he was fidgeting with his mouth and seemed to know he said the word word.

what concerns me, I thought he had BLUE eyes and on my screen this you tube I see brown eyes!

I noticed that too. I always thought Trump had blue eyes.

If you look at the pictures below you will see the progression of Trump's dental work over the years.
Sure looks like he had major work done. Either porcelain veneers or implants. His teeth got bigger and whiter.

by the way, notice how Barron looks like an even younger Donald.
No wonder they call him "Little Donald" :)

I am certain that he would not have a plate, but the best, like implants, if need be.

I am wondering if it was because of a spiritual issue...God works in Mysterious Ways!

You mean...could have more than one meaning? Yes, I well sure. That is a big reason to pray for instructions and guidance, I have found...in these times especially!

Praying for God to uncover all of the darkness, with no double standards or anything important hidden!

Are you sure about that?

The question that I have not seen asked is this: who in the WH decided that he should see a doctor? Is this someone trying to pull the 12th Amendment? I'm sure if he thought he needed to see a doctor he would have been in the ER in minutes. Someone else forced the issue. Who was that person?

may all be well
If DJT or anyone around him thought that there was the slightest possibility of anything serious, they would have gotten a DR appointment for the day after the speech!

Several here have attributed his speech slur to denture problem. I find it hard to believe that a man of his wealth would have neglected his natural teeth to the point where dentures were necessary.
THe man's showing fatigue.

Ever heard of calcium deficiency and bone loss? Your teeth practically fall out on their own, they just dangle there. Perhaps this is what's going on with him and not neglect. /just saying

^^^This.
The physical will put a lot of liberal specualtion to rest. Otherwise it will go on forever.

Laurane, Yes the pres does get a periodic physical from Walter Reed and the general details are made public.

Remember during the campaign rallies when he would be criticized for sharply and deeply inhaling through his nose? Some speculated he had allergies. I used to do quite a bit of public speaking and during times when my sinuses were acting up (allergies) I would take an antihistamine to help dry me up and always had a small lozenge tucked in my mouth to combat the dry-mouth I got from taking the antihistamine. Watching the video, I noticed he did the inhaling thing a few times (although not as pronounced as before) and may have been fishing around for the lozenge with his tongue.

At first I thought dentures but now I will go with lozenge. With all the people he's around, he probably caught some nasty liberal bug. And I will bet that Donald Sr. would love to have Barrons hair, too.

In the vid, as he sat down to sign, I see that he has a white lozenge in his mouth.

His mouth is moving like that after talking and leaving the podium too.

His voice does sound like he's got a sore throat.

The whole thing is a nothing burger. V

I noticed this right away and the way he puckers his mouth is exactly how I look when I speak publicly. My mouth turns to cotton. He would not have dared take a drink of water, after the last hysteria because he took a drink.

I truly hope that's all it is although I can. not. imagine. how the man is standing after all coup/counter-coup mess, ME crisis, NK threats and doing it all on 4-5 hours of sleep every nite. I would be in the rubber room by now!

I think I can...
Looks to me like he's got a cough drop. ''Tis the season. He sure seemed in fine form tonight!

It’s not a TIA/stroke because he would have had all the words come out jibberish. He might have taken some cold decongestants and it made him do that slur. He is under a lot of stress, cold weather, his age and lack of sleep must take a I’ll on him.

If something were medically wrong with our president, the doctor would come to HIM.
There are medical staff in the White House 24/7 anyway. If something were going on he would have been yanked out of that chair and into the west wing within 30-45 seconds. If the medics there needed a doctor they could chopper one in from Andrews or driven over from Fort Myer in 5 minutes or so. Or, he could be choppered to NNMC Bethesda within 10 minutes. No, our president is never far away from competent and quick medical care.

The 5th floor of the main (old) building at NNMC is the presidential clinic (and the dental clinic, incidentally). That's half the 5th floor, a lot of space if he needs it.

My vote is for mouth as dry as a bone. Happens to me when talking (or CPAP goes wild) unless I keep a piece of xylitol chewing gum in my mouth.

Either dentures or he's sucking on a lozenge. Look closely at the way his mouth moves at :06, 09, 22, 43, 1:01, 1:08, 1:12, 1:17.

That's what I said to my hubby also. It looks like he's shifting a lozenge around in his mouth when he is signing the papers.
