Got to thinking about the various "official" stats we see nearly everyday on Covid and wondered what the real numbers are. I had a mild case of Covid back in February and DW and daughter here recently recovered. None of us were seen by any medical professional. We self treated following the FLCCC protocals. Therefore we were not counted by the "official" stats. So what are the REAL NUMBERS and how far are they off reality?

I think about everyone has been exposed to the virus, but many just did not get sick enough to even test. The UK COVID history is nearly identical to ours in the charts. I read yesterday that their testing shows over 99% of school age children have antibodies for COVID even though they have a very low child vaccination rate, which means the vast majority of immunity is natural from being exposed to COVID. If 99% of children have been exposed to it, their parents have also due to close contact. Unless you have lived like a hermit with zero contact with anyone for 2 years, you likely have been exposed.

My main interest is in how many folks had Covid (were actually sick) and whether they were seen by a doctor or not. My guess is that there are far more people that weren't seen by any medical people than were. Thus all the "official" stats are probably seriously under recording actual Covid cases.

Cary and I came down with something. We assume it was Omicron, since we had been with our DDIL just days before. She was sick, and tested positive for it. We never got tested, or saw a doctor. Whatever she had, she gave to us, our DS, her mom, and sister.

I knew of no one with the seasonal flu 2020 or this past season 2021."Covid cured the flu again...and probably colds, sinus infections too..."

A lot got thrown into the catchall covid pile.

Some people are realizing this...

I had the antibody test this year..
Negative.

I don't know much about this testing in terms of sensitivity and specificity.

Had this crap twice--October 2021--tested once. My doctor called in the test--it was positive.
Balance, sense of smell and taste are still gone.
Got it again--even after monoclonal antibodies.
Had my nurse practitioner call in a metabolic panel. Thyroid tested nearly dead--Nurse practitioner raised dosage a lot.
Added vitamin A to my mitochondrial cocktail--I already take CoQ 10, Carnitine, Alpha Lipoic Acid, Mega Benfotiamin, B vitamin trio, Vitamin D3, MacuGuard, Lysine, Tri-Iodine, Oregano Oil, vitamin C, magnesium glycinate.
DS --deaf/blind with epilepsy and severe digestive issues((featured in my avatar))with severe mitochondrial disease passed just before this corona crap started.

Maybe, maybe not. They were already doing everything they could to artificially inflate the numbers and create the "casedemic". Remember the motorcyclists who died in wrecks and were counted as covid deaths?

Chalk me up one for "Had something, don't know what it was."

Me too! Could have been but not sick enough to go to the doc.

The one time last spring I thought I may have had it, I tested negative (home test) and later found out 2 of my co-workers were also ill and tested positive for Influenza, so I'm assuming that is what I had.

Yeah...it could have been, because frankly, I never had anything like it. It was vaguely familiar, but not a match.

Why do you want to know this, just curious, or some other reason.

I voted with 3 options. Pretty sure I've had it at least twice - possibly 3 times. Never diagnosed with it (never tested for it), never saw a doctor for it...

The wife and I just finishing up our second round of China virus. The symptoms were as bad as the first time but not as long lasting. I was down for weeks the first time. This time 7 days.

I never got tested, but I came down with something a couple of months ago just before I broke out in the shingles. I later had a bout of gout. Nothing like these two events before or sense. My immune system was being trifled with.

We're all exposed to germs and viruses every day. When the body builds immunity naturally, it is the way our bodies are designed. Most, with a well-oiled machine, won't get it, or if they do, it will be mild enough to not see a doctor. But those whose immune systems are compromised, either through illness, disease or poor self care, will get it bad.

It is that way with every virus or germ. Covid is no different than any other illnesses that have popped up through the centuries. This will be our "new flu" for years to come.

Had CoVID but the dr I saw was a Chiropractic Doctor and I tell everyone I am sure he saved my sorry self because I was high risk and when I called my pulmonary dr, she just told me to go to ER if I got worse! The Chiro also does alternative treatments and they sure worked for me.

I had a cough March & April of 2020 that just wouldn't stop, with no fever or other symptoms. Then it went away and I've been fine since. Never lost my sense of smell or taste, so I really don't know if I ever had it. Won't try test swabs made in China to find out.

I answered "Had Covid" but I never knew I had it.
My PCP wanted to test me for antibodies and I tested positive.
I did have bacterial pneumonia end of January.
3 negative tests in 5 days
Other than that, I had nothing.
Not even a cold

Why did I vote, "Have not had COVID-19?" I think it has hit since I voted. Just hit the FLCCC protocol hard. Horse paste on low carb asagio cheese crackers is yummy...lol. Low grade fever and pulse oxygen was lower a few hours ago. Pulse oxygen already back to normal. Prayers would be appreciated!

DH brought it back from a trip in Feb. We didn't see our doc, but we did the OTC tests and tested positive. DH actually had to have tests at the med center subsequently to be cleared for some dental surgery.... He was still testing positive there after the OTC tests no longer showed any thing. Most likely it was Omicron, since that was the prevalent strain at the time.

(Lots of coughing... DH ran a fever for a day or two but I never did. No loss of taste or smell, but lots of fatigue. Either we lucked out in that it was probably Omicron, and/or our Vitamin D levels (due to supplements prior to all this) were good enough to keep us out of trouble. I doubled down on the Vitamin D (and have ever since), plus added more Vitamin C and zinc to my regimen. (DH dislikes pills so didn't increase his D, nor take zinc. He did grudgingly take some Vitamin C.))

We're taking a short road trip soon. DH is obsessed with whichever strain is going around. I pointed out to him that the odds were high that we would probably catch the crud again on this trip, part of which involves an inside dinner with 30 or more people....He's thinking of eating his dinner outside, away from everyone else. Good luck with that (and not alienating everyone).

Praying for you, Jake.

Saved, to glorify God.
Never had any of it to my knowledge, but I did lose my sense of smell for a long while.

I do live like a virtual hermit though, having virtual no contact with others, shopping only once or twice a month, at Fred Meyers or COSTCO and having visits from family, for a few minutes to an hour once every two to four months, EVEN holidays and Mother's day were spent alone.

I’m pretty sure I had it between Thanksgiving and Christmas, never tested or went to the doctor. I felt blah for about a week, mostly tired, and no appetite. I never had it go into my chest, or had a cough. I really never had a fever either. The only reason I believe it was covid is I lost my sense of smell. That symptom lasted about 4 weeks, and gradually came back. I did take ivermectin, doxycycline, vitamins D and C, zinc. I tried to take quercitin, but it gave my gut problems.

I know this is an UN-scientific survey, but it pretty much shows that whatever the "official" numbers being reported are, it would be a pretty safe bet to DOUBLE those numbers and you'd probably still be under counting actual total number of infections.

Also, taking into consideration that in a UK Covid antibody testing of school age kids.....99% tested showed they had been exposed to Covid and had antibody levels even through they did NOT experience any actual symptoms. Folks....we are going to be dealing with this crap just like dealing with the annual flu bug. CRAP!! Geeee thanks to Fauci and his fooking Chinese minions.

I also predict that this kind of biological garbage is going to continue to ESCAPE Chinese Bio-Labs well into the future and perhaps even other Gain of Function experimenting Bio-Labs elsewhere around the world. Something to look forward to.

Our adult son had Covid toes and fatigue in March 2000, so we know we were exposed. No one else had any symptoms.

We all had "something" earlier this year, but hub's had blood work done and no antibodies, so... :shr:
