Thankyou for all the great detail in your battles with Covid. I hope the ivermectin and FLCCC protocols will help more members.

I drank a small can of Schweppes tonic water with quinine as a last resort last night and it stopped them. I got that at Walmart when it was suggested as a replacement for hydroxychloraquin last year. I had to mix it with ginger ale but I got it down.
Gin with a twist of lime helps get the tonic water down real easy.

I believe I will since I'm on the downhill side of this hopefully. I've got to have some sleep. Thanks.
Look how naive I was there thinking I was on the down hill drag :) .

I had a most miserable night last night with a sore throat and my sinuses felt like they were on fire. I didn't take the prednisone yesterday because it kept me up two nights in a row. My DIL was right, the prednisone is the game changer...at least for me. I took it when I finally crawled out of bed at noon today and in a couple hours, I felt like a new woman and have felt better all day today.

Another thing, normally DH is the family member stuff like this rarely bothers. This time he's been a fair bit sicker than me and he has no comorbidities. While we were both on the main part of the protocol, I was more diligent with it than him and I added quite a bit more stuff to mine as noted in my first post to this thread but some of it is stuff I just happen to take ever day anyway. Another thing, DH got out in the cold more than he should for a couple days there. He's really suffered with the headaches.

If things stay like they are now and mine doesn't morph into something worse, I'm going to conclude prevention and getting those vitamin levels up is well worth the effort. Of course the Prednisone has helped me a whole lot too. It does skew my conclusion a little bit.

Everyone else is holding their own and doing better than expected so far. Thank you Lord for that.

Quick update. I've been pretty darn sick. Mine morphed into the intestinal portion of the big event and it has kicked my booty. Until that hit, I was doing fine managing my respiratory issues. I've always had a weak spot with anything involving nausea and this ended up being no exception. Unlike most stomach bugs, this one has lasted much more than 24 hours. I've been battling it for days and just today, I think I may see the light at the end of the tunnel. I've had good nausea meds but at best they just take the edge off. My sister had this same issue with it. In fact, the nausea was her only symptom. It's been a constant battle with dehydration and I've been worried about blood clots because of it. Thank goodness, no diarrhea or stomach cramps were involved.

I can't think of anything I would have or could have done differently. I questioned if we were taking enough ivermectin. It was enough to see the rest of the adults through with no issues and my biggest fear was pneumonia and I avoided that. I just never saw the nausea being the thing that about did me in. Without the nausea meds, I had on hand, I would have probably ended up in the hospital.
