Good Morning, All!
Pretty sure I got the dates right this week
(Stops for a big gulp of coffee before continuing lol!)
There is another beautiful week in the offing here - at least my three days off are supposed to be nice! - so I'm planning to spend as much time as possible outside.
Hubby picked up the concrete mix as requested, so I am going to try to get some water samples taken early in the week before we pour the well covers - there was a sort of dump in that area years and years ago, so I want to make sure the water isn't contaminated. If it is, we will probably fill in the wells instead; but will still need the concrete to cap them.
He plans to sharpen mower blades and chainsaw blades today, so those will be ready to go; and he took care of tiller maintenance yesterday so I should be able to hit the ground running - well, except for the fact that I can still barely walk or lift my arms above my shoulders after my day of working with the handyman on Friday Got charged by a patient and shoved down the hall a ways yesterday until another co-worker intervened so between the effects of the grab and shove and the adrenaline dump, everything aches!! Oh, it hurts to get older - but as my father always said "At least I'm still here to complain about it!"
I've never doubted that the Lord is looking out for me, and yesterday at work didn't do a thing to change my mind. We'd asked for extra help at 3pm, but the NHO forgot until we called her at 3:30pm. 4:15pm, a Tech walked on to the unit and said "I don't know why I was sent here; I was in ER sitting with a patient and they sent another person down and told me to come up here." 5pm, I got charged and within seconds the tech had the patient up against wall with his body weight and one arm, and was peeling the guy's hands off me with the other one. When we finally got things settled down again, I looked at him and said "Well, I reckon I know why you were sent up here; and boy am I ever glad you were!"
It's Donut Day at work, so I'm going to need to finish this up so I can leave early enough to stop and pick them up Take care all; wishing you all a safe and productive week!
