Good Morning, All! I've not had time to check the news yet, so I sure do hope it IS a good morning for all of us here!
Hoping to get back into the swing of things, prep wise. Zipped into WM Friday evening for an emergency can of hair spray for the cheerleaders (empty after 14 girls glued their hair into place lol!) and saw lots of winter outerwear going on clearance this week, so I will pick up winter coats for both grandsons; possibly for the granddaughter as well. Snow boots aren't on clearance yet, but I will pick up a few more pair of those as soon as they are. Still waiting for the wool/wool blend socks to show orange tags - it shouldn't be too much longer.
Food sales are meh per last week's mid week ads; haven't seen the upcoming ads as yet but am hopeful for sales on some canned items like salmon, etc... I like the mylar packs; just don't like opening 4 of them to make the same amount of salmon patties I can from a single can - and the can is recyclable whereas the mylar packs are not.
We have a small window of warm temps on the way - by warm, I mean above 20*F lol! We're going to do some outside clean up work - lots of dropped limbs, misc stuff blown in from across the field (I've gained several 5 gallon buckets this week, a trash can, and lots of assorted trash.) We may also head to the range - I need to work a bit with a different revolver as I caught Hubby carrying my back-up; and doing so without leaving me another back-up in place, not sure if his ears have recovered from that discovery yet... Poor man
Dang - there's the alarm; time to get ready to head out the door; see if night shift made it through the chaos we - or rather, the doctor - left behind. Gotta leave early to pick up the donuts; I may need the distraction to make my escape!
Take care all; wishing you all a good week!
