Has No Life - Lives on TB
Yes. He is 6 ft. And hitting another growth spurt. And a bit over 200 lbs.got your hands full, bless your heart. Is your son full size for his age? I'm just trying to get a mental picture of what you deal with. I loved my sons when they were growing up (I still do love them) but would have a hard time dealing with 6' plus men.
There is a running "joke" that I have used basic self defense moves so many times that they are now instinctive. And I have, although I use modified, gentler versions. And mainly hold releases. That doesn't mean he doesn't occasionally surprise me.
Nowadays he is very rarely aggressive. But pain can be one of the triggers. The interesting things is that he was actually trying to control himself last night, despite the pain levels and layered issues. He is slowly getting better control and comprehension that I am paying attention and trying to help him.
He is settling down some today. I asked friend to grab him more putty when at the store. He loves that. He uses putty as a stim that helps calm him. And while I hate cleaning up styrofoam, I gave him the flat pieces from the light packs because picking at them is another calming stim.
All in all, not going out today was best. The new lights are in, and I like them. They provide better lighting. Only one more light fixtures to replace and I'll probably order that next week.
I am debating replacing the outdoor light at the front door. But that will wait until I find one that I think will fit the house. And I'm considering finding one that can protect a small security camera. We've also got the transformer for the video doorbell to install. We're just waiting for the squirrels to leave. But I may end up putting out poison for that issue.
