What we are: This board is for those who have a serious interest in preparation for natural (and not-so-natural) disasters, as well as in discussing the latest news, potential world crises, and information off the net.
This was back in 2007 when the board was still seriously prep heavy. Although we've never gotten away from it prepping overall has fallen off the wagon a bit over the years. With the current world situation and coming out of the Covid debacle hopefully people that haven't paid much attention to the prepping aspect are taking it more seriously now as there is still availability for most of the things that one needs.

Even as we get older and I admit I'm closer now to an old codger than I want to be no matter how old you are or what kind of condition one finds themself in the old adage is still true;

We are all much older now than we were back in 2007 but if our mindset is right we've still got a heck on an advantage over so many others. You might knock me down but dammit I'll get back up and keep at it even if I lose my teeth some day and have to gum you into submission.

Honestly the text and wording looks very good. The only addition needs to be the proscribed sites and pentalties for posting from proscribed sites without reason, and repeatedly for no good reason. (some proscribed sites are OK to post, but they occasionaly come out with information gems justifying a post.)

I remember seeing these when I first started prowling around here.
I always liked the "Principles" approach backed up by enforcement of The Rules when someone lost sight of the Principles concept which sometimes occurs.
