ALERT We can confirm an explosion outside Kabul airport - UPDATE: AT LEAST THIRTEEN U.S. SERVICE MEMBERS HAVE BEEN KILLED IN ACTION!

Further comment on the dogs let loose in Kabul airport. It is looking more and more likely that some of the dogs were from American contractors who did just abandon them. Charlotte was known to have made at least one trip into Taliban-occupied territory to round them up and collect them - the Taliban had already cut off their noses. Some of them got out with Pen and some are now lost again waiting to be shot or tortured to death since they were simply let go at the airport.

Other dogs were probably those of Afghan handlers attached to US units but not covered by them (as stated in the article) and some of the dogs would have been rescued street dogs already tamed, vetted, neutered, or spayed.

These rescues routinely sent dogs to the West for rehoming often with veterans groups or even police stations (working dogs). The vets and their caretakers know what the rules for transport to Europe and North America are and that was why the UK "minister" who at first said the animals might be destroyed because they were "disease-ridden" (Pen's animals) were ridiculous.

UK vets have confirmed all the animals are healthy and had their shots, dewormers, and everything. They still have to be in quarantine of course, but they are perfectly healthy.

These operations only took away from human rescues because both the UK and the US government spent so much time trying to keep them from happening and denying the rights of planes to land either for rescue or forbidden them to be boarded once landings occurred.

Just as they wasted tons of energy refusing landing rights or boarding passes for legitimate refugees, translators, and US Citizens. Even using their energies to call other countries asking them not to allow the planes to land rather than using their time to get people and animals out of dodge and into somewhere safe (even for a few days until a new location could be found).

The Biden Handlers and BoJo's government have to OWN this, and some of us are not going to let them forget them and let them "get on with things" either.

This just gets worse and worse. Compounded by the fact that our once great nation, that other nations looked up to and strived to achieve, is now the laughing stock of the world.

Methinks somebody out there is channeling Voltaire:
“I have never made but one prayer to God, a very short one: Oh Lord, make my enemies ridiculous. And God granted it."

Taliban Reportedly Deliver American Military Hardware To Iran

Wednesday, 01 Sep 2021 20:47
Reports and images on social media received from Iran indicate that tanks and military vehicles which belonged to the Afghan army were seen in Tehran and other parts of Iran.
Photos have emerged showing armored Humvees being transported from the eastern parts of the country toward Tehran, on the Semnan-Garmsar road.

Besmallah Mohammadi, a former Afghan defense ministry official published one of the photos referring to Iran as a “bad neighbor” and saying Afghanistan misfortune will not last forever.

Iran had promised to resume fuel deliveries to Afghanistan last week, which the Taliban need to prevent a collapse in the economy. Tehran has adopted a friendly posture toward the Taliban, unlike past relations which were marked by tensions.
Iranian officials have not yet reacted to the news. However, if Iran has made a deal with the Taliban to receive some of the American military hardware given to the Afghan army or left behind, it would claim a big victory against the United States.

The reports received so far are brief and there is no information about the kind and quantity of hardware delivered to Iran.

The Hummers and MRAP's are probably going to Iran Khodro to be reverse engineered. Engines and drivetrains are going to be picked to pieces. You can bet the applique armor is going to be reverse engineered.
The Hummers would be a huge improvement over the Safir Jeep-which to me looks suspiciously like the M151 MUTT. Here's a video of their jeep...

Apologies if this has already been brought up.

I'm watching tonight's X22 report, and at the 15:50 mark (through the 16:22 mark) Dave states the following....

"It's come out that the Department of Defense had foreknowledge of the Kabul Airport Bomber and they were DENIED PERMISSION to fire a predator drone that had LOCKED ON THE INDIVIDUAL, and 13 HEROS are now dead. So they knew WHO it was, they had information, they were locked on, but they didn't fire. Does this remind you of Obama? Are they using the same playbook?"

Saw they left the C-RAM at the airport (disabled). Was thinking this might also go somewhere to be reverse engineered.

I’ve seen this many places, but I’m not sure exactly what it means. Is this when you take something apart just to put it back together again, with the goal being to learn how to make more? Or is the goal to make it unusable so it can’t be used against them? Maybe both?

"Reverse engineering" is when you analyze a product in minute detail (yes, taking it apart can be part of the process) , generally to steal patented technology.

Not going to be much of that one to be studied for reverse engineered. The one thing that was taken out before the last plane left was the C-Ram. Thermite BBQ as I heard things.

I would simply consider how well trained and proficient those tasked to 'disable' the equipment were. (this ain't in the manual) What tools were available and how much access was available in the field. How much time was allotted and any panic factor present. The most sensible thing would to remove key logic/computing modules, since those would be the hardest to reproduce independently. Much of the system might be state of the art tech so things can be learned regardless of what's left behind. Stone age radicals won't get more than a few bucks for the piece but their buyers might have the engineers and researchers and the need to know.

All 13 US Service Members Who Died in Kabul Airport Attack Will Be Posthumously Awarded the Purple Heart

By Katabella Roberts
September 10, 2021 Updated: September 10, 2021

All 13 U.S. service members who were killed on Aug. 26 during the U.S.-led evacuation mission at the Kabul airport in Afghanistan have been posthumously awarded the Purple Heart.
The Navy announced on Tuesday that a sailor killed in the incident was awarded the Purple Heart, along with the 12 other service members.
As a result of his brave actions in support of his fellow service members, Navy Corpsman Maxton Soviak, 22, of Berlin Heights, Ohio, was promoted to the rank of hospital corpsman third class, and in addition to the Purple Heart was also awarded the Fleet Marine Force Corpsman warfare badge. He was assigned to the 1st Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division.
“Petty Officer Soviak gave the ultimate sacrifice in service to this country,” said The Honorable Carlos Del Toro, Secretary of the Navy in a statement.
“While this promotion and the Fleet Marine Force Corpsman warfare badge are awarded posthumously, I have no doubt his dedication to this nation, his displayed skill as a Hospital Corpsman, and devotion to the mission at hand warrant this recognition.”

The 12 other service members awarded the Purple Heart were

Army Staff Sgt. Ryan Knauss, 23, of Corryton, Tennessee.;

and 11 Marines:

Staff Sgt. Darin Hoover, 31, of Salt Lake City, Utah;
Sgt. Johanny Rosario Pichardo, 25, of Lawrence, Massachusetts.;
Sgt. Nicole Gee, 23, of Sacramento, California;
Cpl. Hunter Lopez, 22, of Indio, California;
Cpl. Daegan Page, 23, of Omaha, Nebraska;
Cpl. Humberto Sanchez, 22, of Logansport, Indiana;
Lance Cpl. David Espinoza, 20, of Rio Bravo, Texas;
Lance Cpl. Jared Schmitz, 20, of St. Charles, Missouri;
Lance Cpl. Rylee McCollum, 20, of Jackson, Wyoming;
Lance Cpl. Dylan Merola, 20, of Rancho Cucamonga, California, and
Lance Cpl. Kareem Nikoui, 20, of Norco, California.

The 13 soldiers were killed during the U.S.-led evacuation mission at the Kabul airport in Afghanistan. They were helping to screen people at the Abbey Gate of the airport as thousands of Americans, Afghans, and other foreign nationals attempted to flee Afghanistan after the Taliban extremist group took over Kabul in mid-August.

Terrorist group ISIS-K claimed responsibility for the attack, which also claimed the lives of more than 160 Afghans, as they struggled to get into the airport and on flights out of the country.
The Biden administration has drawn significant condemnation from a number of veterans, Republican lawmakers, and even members of his own Party over how he handled the pullout.

On Thursday morning, the body of Army Staff Sgt. Ryan Knauss was returned to East Tennessee, two weeks after his death.
His body landed at McGhee Tyson Airport around 10:30 a.m. and was transported in a procession of local law enforcement to Mynatt Funeral Home.

Dozens of family members and locals lined the streets to show their support for the fallen soldier, many of them waving flags.
A public memorial service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 11 at 5 p.m. at the Gibbs High School football stadium—the school which Knaus attended—for the soldier.
The Associated Press contributed to this report.
