I didn't get quite as fancy as this recipe did. Forget the "cold pressed" and all the rest. Just use what you have … squished up watermelon juice, apple juice, and tap water. Tasted just as good without all the frou-frou.

Watermelon Apple Cinnamon Switchel

Prep Time: 10 mins

A refreshing watermelon drink with anti-inflammatory benefits from cinnamon and all sorts of health perks from fermented apple cider vinegar.

Servings: 2 servings

  • 2 cups watermelon cubes
  • 1/2 cup 100% apple juice, cold pressed if available
  • 1/2 cup filtered water
  • 2 T. apple cider vinegar like Bragg's brand
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • Instructions
    1. Add all ingredients to blender and process until smooth. Pour through fine mesh strainer to remove pulp. Makes two 12-ounce servings.

Where does the cinnamon come in?
It looks like reading from the comments it was determined by how much watermelon was used in the recipe. The writer said 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon added to 4 cups of watermelon balls. Also a few drops of vanilla added. A little cinnamon sprinkled on top. Depending on your taste.
