wow...deja vu.

mutter...are you feeling as pessimistic as I am right now?

I've mentioned before that my father was born in the Philippines. We're talking dense, difficult jungle...very deadly. My aunt, who was only a small child at the time, took a Japanese sniper round during WWII that remains in her leg to this day. Soooo many places to hide.

Wasn't there a Japanese soldier found still at his post...in his uniform..in the jungles of one of the Philippine Islands decades after WWII?

yes the jungles are forbidding. but this is not the 1940s or even the 1960s technologically speaking. we have infra-red scopes and sensors, remote-controlled drone planes, and no doubt techniques and strategies that have made anything available in Viet Nam look primitive. if onea were a muslim terrorist in the Phillipines right now and had half a brain, (and no doubt most of them do), he would certainly be dealing with the thought that professional hunters had just been let loose, and that he was the prey...

Want a real HMMMMMM?!?

go to George Ure's site where they still have posted the page that was put in on JULY 12, 2001 (nearly 2 MONTHS) before 9-11 where they predicted not only the 9-11 attack against the currency centers of the world, BUT also made the connection to the Philippines. The think tank saw this back last year, and posted it. Their predictions also were correct for the anthrax. They continued to point out Philippine connections all along.

Spooky. I also hear that there is a new project afoot with the think tank guys. Don't know what, but those bastards over there (across the inlet from me) are spending a lot of time grinning and programming like there ain't no tomorrow. The lights are on in their office til WAY late. The real kicker is that the head of the place don't say sheeit when we meet out on the inlet in our kayaks. Usually he talks up a storm, except when the projects are going real well, then you can see the wheels turing in his head as he works out the new stuff.

I, for one, can't wait to see what pops out.

As they say,
'and that's the truth'.
