CORONA Vaxed Family Members getting Covid

So last Christmas (1 year ago) we went to my wife's nieces house for Christmas. We called the day before and mentioned that our grandson and his mama had the sniffles but were fine. With all this Covid hog wash going on we felt the only right thing to do would be to tell them ahead of time. Every body said come on over no problem.

We call on our way there that day and say we are leaving. They said see ya soon. We drive 30 minutes or so, walk up to the door and are greeted by my wife's niece who said they did not want us in there due to possible Covid. How darn rude to let us get all the way to the door before sending us on our way. Almost every single year one or most times half of them are sick with the flu or a stomach bug or some aliment and we never turn them away. Bottom line they are scared of Covid. My brother in law and his wife were fine with us being over but the kids and their spouses are all in the medical industry.

So they all got the vax and second shot as well this year. We did not get the vax.

On Facebook I made a post about the vax a couple months ago. I simply posted an article about some of the issues at the time. I made no personal statement. Well our nieces husband had made a statement about antivaxers about the same time. I had not seen it. Then I assume he saw my post which did not agree with his post and he assumed my post was directed at him. He flipped out and made some outrageous statement about it and how selfish us antivax crowd are and said you worry about your family and I will take care of mine. At first I thought he was pissed at someone but I had no idea who. Then I read his page and realized it was most likely me despite the fact nothing was even said by me. He simply jumped to conclusions. I called my brother in law and asked if he knew anything about it. He said yeah hes mad at you and says people like me are going to be the death of us all. That we are going to spread Covid because we are not "protected" lol.

Fast forward to last week. Every one of those self righteous individuals has Covid. That's right. There are 6 of them and they all caught Covid despite keeping up with getting vaccinated. My brother in law told me they were all having a very rough time of it. I really want to post "so hows that vax working for you now?" But I am going to be nice and let it ride.

Gotta say I did laugh my ass off several times last night when I heard the good news. :D

I was not laughing because family was sick but the irony of it all was very amusing to me. I don't have to say a world. They either realize by now they have been duped or they are just plain sheeple.

PS I think TB2K should add the word "Sheeple" to the dictionary so we do not have to deal with it. At least in our world "Sheeple" is a word. And they do exist.

i know many people that have gotten the shot and still gotten covid. it does depend on location, to a great degree, in terms of their response.

some seem to have an epiphany. some just keep on chugging along with the attitude that they knew it could happen this way, but it is what it is. some are sheeple as you say. some get very angry and double down on the anger and hatred of anyone that does not have it or will not get it or disagrees with them, and blames them for their condition.

i hope they are all ok. i do not want anyone to have a tough go with this at all.

This is precisely the Faucienstein Quantum Logic that is used over and over again. I was alone for Christmas because 5 jabbed and boosted family members were all sick with Covid. However, Grandaddy Warbucks was glad to self isolate -so I wouldn’t make their conditions worse :lkick:. I didn’t have to step into the mouth of madness for the holidays and had a blast…:kaid:
You know, just for their safety…

Well the grandson I just put on the "family who has Covid" list, works for Regeneron. He is a bio chemist in the remdesivir and antibodies area. He has to wear FULL protective gear at work, be fully vaxxed and boosted, and he got it.

Probably at Starbucks.

Our daughter and family are all triple vaxxed (including young granddaughter), but they are all worried about getting covid from us as we aren't vaxxed and do go to doctor and the store without masks. But yet, they can go to work where they have vaxxed co-workers that are continually out with "covid." But, ya know...the "vaxx" keeps them from dying from it!! And if WE get it, we'll surely die because we aren't vaxxed!!

Hubby and I have been out in this stuff since day one with little or no difference in how we did things. Same for our kids, two of whom work in a hospital, one of whom is a barista, and the 18 year old is face to face customer service at a car wash. None of us have had it. One daughter that works in a hospital lab took the jab early on before all of the crap about it was known. We've all had multiple, face-to-face exposures. We haven't changed our protocols at all. And I'm in a high risk category with Type 2.

I have absolutely no freakin' clue why it gets some people and not others.

many years ago, the only time I ever got the flu vaccine, I subsequently a few weeks later got the flu worse than I ever had before or since (never got the flu vax again, and never got the flu again)

I am not a big fan of these coronavirus/flu vaccines.

I understand the feelings against gloating and agree, but…

There comes a time when it’s not gloating, but bringing the subject back up boldly to make certain that self righteous person realizes his error…

We can assume they’ve learned, but that’s not a safe assumption, they’ve likely repeated this very same pattern multiple times in their life as they’re either prideful or unteachable…

So, again, its not that we gloat, but make sure we’re all clear that the person who acted so intelligent and berated another, sees they were wrong, admits they were wrong, their advice was wrong, and they eat a big slice of humble pie!

A couple months ago, I tested positive for covid. I seldom go anywhere, always wear a mask. I haven't been sick with anything for the last 2 years. So apparently, a person can have it without symptoms. I don't get it.

Not just here, but in the whole World.

Actual data - not massaged for the message.

That's a pertinent question.
It is, but those numbers (worldwide) are beyond our ability to obtain. Frankly, even within this membership, they are probably not obtainable.

I was talking to my ex last night and she asked me to go over the FLCCC(?)'s directions for Vit. D, C, zinc, etc. and I asked why, did she think she or her son/son's family was getting sick and her answer was interesting. Her son lives in California Jr.(Colorado) and he's a follow the crowd type of person that chases every fad out there and he told her to get me to go over the directions as he is now convinced that the shots were a scam(duh) because he got both shots and 2 boosters and still got covid twice. Of course it took everyone around him going thru the same thing and them declaring it a scam before he would admit it. So if a bonehead like him can see that this nothing more than a modern day snake oil scam, then the whole narrative is falling apart

The high and mighty vaxxers are losing faith in the false gods of Fauci and his worthless shots and I'm right there ridiculing them the whole time. Why? Because their false beliefs in an arrogant little weasel deserves to be ridiculed so they can learn to think for themselves.

Friend of mine I was checking up on him and his wife
They are both down with the latest version of Covid-19

They both got the original
Then they both got the delta
Now they both have the omicron
No luck those two
So he is fussing at me about this and said both of them have taken all the shots and required boosters
I pointed out to him that he and his wife are living proof the vaccine or boosters do not work
I also pointed out neither me nor theMrs nor her mother have had any of this nor the shot
He still didn’t get it
I finally told him just maybe he got chumped
His health is horrid as is his wifes
I’m frankly surprised they both survived
And I don’t fault him for feeling the need to take the shots

The pro-vax position is stated to be that non-vaxxed should be mocked if they get sick, or even die, as they somehow have it coming.

So the reverse is therefore also acceptable, due to the self-righteous bullying from the pro-vax side.

So a "so how's that vax working out" comment is entirely justified and apropos.

Getting the vax is absolutely no guarantee that you won't get the disease, however.....comma, if you do, it will "usually" be a much lighter version of it. That is true with any vaccination: Chicken Pox, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Polio, Plague, etc., etc., etc.

Geez how many times have people gotten their flu shot and then GOT THE FLU! This is especially true with virus' as they mutate so quickly. The other consideration is co-morbidities. Americans are not the healthiest bunch of pecker woods these days: obesity, diabetes, hypertension, poor physical health seem to be running rampant. Our food is inundated with GMO's, chemicals and God only knows what else.

Finally.....something that we should ALL KEEP IN MIND. Now this is my personal opinion.....CORONA IS A BIO-WEAPON!! That's what GAIN OF FUNCTION MEANS!! Take an ordinary disease and MAKE IT WORSE!! Who in the "F" does stupid shit like that?!?!?! And I'm quite serious....CAN WE NUKE CHINA NOW!!

You and me both, brother. Worst case of flu I ever had. This was MANY years ago. No vax since and only one or two cases of the flu. They can keep that crap.

It's too bad we can't be big enough to give each other some slack about their right to choose.

I had a video chat with my cardiologist today and we discussed covid. He said out of his 39 patients who have died, all were unvaxed except for one. He said this new version has found a way around the shots and it's very easy to get. You can still easily end up in the hospital but chances are good that you won't die. He also said most are getting infected in family situations versus out in the public.

Had they died from Covid, during the 14 day unvaxxed window?

Nope. Let him know what an ass he is for getting upset at you. Rub it in good.

He was/is perfectly fine getting mad at you. dish it out back to him.
