He is probably making some good money right now. It all comes down to weighing the risk vs the reward. For Pete's sake, why isn't he gone already?
I am interested in what your geologist friend has to say about this and I appreciate the info you have posted so far.Anyway, I supposed somewhat clued-in discussions are more productive than the clueless versions, right? If people here are interested, I'll try to contribute from time to time as - and if - our conversations result in new information or further developing theories.
The volcanic danger associated with lava laundry is the one that has caused the most damage and is causing the current eruptive process at the Old Summit, as a result of the condition to areas of cultivation, housing and infrastructure, as well as the dimension (area) of the condition for laundry lava. The affected area is not only an important agricultural and semi-urban area, but also its dimension (779 ha) to date (18/10) is relatively greater than that of the areas occupied by each of the remaining 7 eruptions historic events at Old Summit.
Listing of the 8 historic eruptions of La Palma and areas (approximately in Hectares, ha) that occupied their respective lava laundry.
1. Tacande (La Palma) 1430-1447 (424 ha)
2. Tehuya (The Palm) 1585 (338 ha)
3. Tigalate (La Palma) 1646 (296 ha)
4. San Antonio (La Palma) 1677-1678 (210 ha)
5. Puddle (La Palma) 1712 (441 ha)
6. Saint John (La Palma) 1949 (323 ha)
7. (La Palma) 1971 (276 ha)
8. Tajogaite? (La Palma) 2021 -? (779 ha; until 18/10)
Note:
The name of the recent Old Summit eruption is an issue for the Palmer@s. Our Tajogaite proposal is born of a Palmer in the area. We must note that there are lava laundry from some eruptions that overlap as is the case with the laundry of lava from 1585 and 1712, and those from 1677/78 and from 1971. part of laundry, so save for the first eruption (Tacande) whose laundry did not reach the sea, the total surface is always slightly higher than considered for each eruptive event.

sorry but this is the wrong ocean.
So please help me out here.
What is the term "Lava Laundry" supposed to represent, and what are we supposed to be seeing as they discuss this??
My guess was computer translation from Spanish, but I read through the rest, and still couldn't make sense of the text. I speak enough Spanish to usually figure out what was lost in translation, but in this case, I'm lost too.So please help me out here.

Upgraded to 4.9 View: https://mobile.twitter.com/EndGameWW3/status/1450598950776582145another 4.5 (see upgraded info at bottom of post) offshore of Southern tip of island (unless they upgrade it too) this one is farther offshore than the first one was, so they might leave this one offshore. Then again, only 17 felt the first one several hours ago, this one was shallower and over 40 felt this one.
