Was the last test April 21 ? That's the last one I rec'd.It worked well on the last test. IF a tsunami warning is issued, that would certainly be worthy of EAS activation.
Trying to talk sense into stepson, GF and kids to pack up important stuff in case they need to move fast.
They are in Virginia Beach -right next to Norfolk
You might want to get cracking!Well... I am on Prince Edward Island. There's only one way off this rock in that kind of time frame..
Yup, I have Go-bags ready and son had to go to work. Told him that if I call, to leave without question and head home, and we go north, far enough inlandI sent an e-mail to my ex, who lives with his wife near the NC coast -- I think they are probably far enough inland to be safe (30 miles or so), but they are at a very low elevation, so not sure. Wise to be watching and ready, in any case.

That is the impression I'm getting watching the two stations, especially those living near the volcano.La Palma is 273 sq miles. Not a lot of room to get out of that volcano's way. The residents must be terrified.
I read in a book one time about a burning Mountain falling into the sea and it wiped out 1/3 of all the ships and a bunch of other bad things happened ..
with an accentDoes Godzilla speak Spanish?
The King James version wasn't bad.So what's the name of the book? Sounds like a good doomer book. Was it a good read?

Yup, read it every day. Its like knowing the end from the beginning. Better than Nostradamus prophecies. Hasnt been wrong yet.So what's the name of the book? Sounds like a good doomer book. Was it a good read?
I don't know if this is the one that causes the big Tsunami but it looks like a big chunk of land is splitting off as well as the village below is toast. Biggest one I have seen on this island.

Basic Information Before Leaving Earth. Good read.So what's the name of the book? Sounds like a good doomer book. Was it a good read?
Hope they don't move to the part that is suppose to slide off into the Atlantic.I suspect if the residents move to a different watershed and not too close to the beach they're fine.

The entire east coast or just parts of it?I don't know if this has been posted yet because I have a bunch of catching up to do. According to Wikipedia:
"The western flank could slide into the ocean.
They estimate that the tsunami will have waves possibly 164 ft high when it hits North America about 7 hours later
Modelling suggests that the tsunami could inundate up to 16 miles inland.
Post 153 top picture on right shows the top of mountain range burning across with flowing lava toward a town. The picture looks like a fissure opening across the whole top of that range of mountain. The town is directly in the path as well as roads are gone but the impressive thing is it looks like a fissure across the top of that mountain.WHERE? Which feed?
The weight of the people alone could make it unstable. Just ask the congress critter. That wouldn't qualify as a different watershed.
Entire East Coast - from Canada to Florida, and even into the Gulf of Mexico. The entire east coast or just parts of it?
