Unbelievable Clearance Items at Wally World!

Well, I've had enough mosquitos and snake evasion training so we cut the trip a day short (but the fishing was good). On the way back, I stopped at a Wally World this morning near Orlando as we dropped one of my friends off and just WOW.

On clearance:

Century Single Burner "TRAIL SCOUT" Propane Stove.... $1.50

Coleman 4 D Cell Battery Lantern .... $1.00

Needless to say, I have two of each in my possession now. I would suggest hitting your local WalMart to see if you can find those items asap as I'm sure they will be GONE quickly at those prices....

Nothing like that at my local WM last night - I make it a point to wander the sporting-goods aisles every time I'm there, just in case. If there HAD BEEN, they would have ALLLLLL gone home with me! Talk about cheap Christmas gifts!

At this store, in Sanford, FL, they were in the clearance aisle by themselves. It was amazing. I would have bought more, but what the heck would I do with 12 stoves??????????????

Besides put them on eBay, lol, but I wasn't going to get piggy about it...:D

At one of the Walmart supercenters near me they have an entire aisle dedicated to mark downs and sale stuff they want to get rid of ...from all over the store.

Ask where this aisle might be in your store.

Yes, I've shopped at a couple like that, but I'm in this one often enough to know how they lay things out (most of the time), esp. since my wife was a CSM there for 3 years.

John - you think it might be clearing out computerized reordering from post-hurricane season? Wife says "Prolly what happened is, they ordered heavy last year and when they didn't all sell, they sent them back to the regional warehouse. After a second try and no significant sales, they opted to clearance them."

Yeah - I'd run them on ebay, save them for birthday/christmas gifts, or use as post-event barter! :D
